Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge
Let’s make this clear. This game is my life. And no, this isn’t satire so grow up a little bit and understand passion when you see it. I have logged over 730+ hours and I intend to log thousands more. Not only do I play this game daily, but I put over 30+ hours a week into it at the minimum. If you can do math like me that puts it at about 4.28571429 hours a day. (no I didn’t use a calculator, I can do math in my head.) Anyone who is just staring out on steam should get this game. It’s cheap and user friendly. Not to mention is is only O N E dollar! That is incredible! I have gifted this game probably 10 times and I’ll do it again. I’m also a moderator in the Bad Rats discord, which I am highly proud of. I worked tirelessly to get that position and I think I’m close to getting admin. Anyways, no matter the type of gamer you are, Bad Rats is for you. Just don’t think you’ll ever be as good as me. Please give this game a chance to change your life like it did to mine.

FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water
The best horror game this year.
When i first saw the announcement of this game being released on Steam and modern consoles I was very excited. Years ago I used to play Project Zero on my Xbox original and I finished it quite a few times they were excellent games and very scary, I also enjoyed the third one on my PS2.
This game is just as good if not better I like the fact that the gameplay is something a little bit different. I think the game is creative for requiring the player to use the Camera Obscura, its a really cool way of fighting the ghosts and spirits. To be honest I cant really find many modern horror games that are similar to this one except for a few. The story had me immersed from the beginning and I enjoyed many of the cutscenes, the characters or the girls mostly are awesome I like Yuri she is my favorite one.

Pros:
The camera mechanics
Atmosphere
Sound
Cons:
Playing multiple characters with different stories in one sitting
Repeated and recycled levels and scenes
limited enemies
Recycled enemies
Enemies are easy, extremely predictable, and boring
Story fell flat and feels all over the place.
Characters and enemies are over sexualized and the bouncing breast are distracting. It takes away from the game being a horror genre and more like someone’s creepy fetish.
Controls were sluggish when it came to moving the character around.

Sakura Spirit
This should be the only game available on steam, I don’t understand how this hasn’t been a top seller.
It has everything anyone could want in one videogame:
-Anime
-Boobs
-Wet Boobs
-Cat Girls
-Roleplaying boobs
-Stimulation boobs
-Suspense boobs
-Drama boobs
-Kawaii boobs
and the list goes on and on…
If you don’t own this game I think you’d be wise to just purchase this product, this company has really set the standard for PC gaming since this release and you can see it influence the develpoment of popular titles such as Crysis 3, Battlefield 4, Max Payne 3, Diablo 3, Bioshock: Infinite and much, much more.

“There is a charm about the forbidden that makes it unspeakably desirable.”
Mark Twain
Wait, a fox-girl?
Sakura Spirit is a wonderful story about one guy and some “special” girls. The situations are very funny and sometimes so absurd that you can’t not laugh. But and that is the point you have to know, its like you read a book or a manga or something else. A visual novel isn’t a “real” game where you can interact with your environment. You get some beautiful wallpapers from those girls that show you the current situation. But that’s all. You have only one decision in the whole game and the story ends always equal! So i only recommend it if you like to read, are interested in an unusual funny story and see some great wallpapers with some ecchi. Otherwise i can’t recommend this visual novel for you.

TOGETHER VR
My review…the good and the not so good.
first off….it looks AMAZING…WONDERFUL!! the creators sure are on to something and really show you the possibilities of what VR can do and how much better it might get in the future with these type of VR demonstations. I MUCH prefer this type of thing rather than shooting games…because I think someday…people like these creators will perfect things like this even more and make it even more immersive.
the game boots up and you find yourself in a beautiful, comfy, brightly lit apartment of a highrise, and a fun pretty and bubbly girl is sitting there on the couch watching TV. so, this whole thing is basically a short VR technology showoff….this isnt a full experience along the lines of Kanojo. but even at only 12 dollars theres lots here to admire. so if you have a VR headset, why not pick it up. you play darts with her and then go up against her in a VR firefight and then sit at a dinner table with her feeding each other and playing rock paper scissors and then hunt for an envelope. its fun and I LOVE how the apartment changes from daylight to night. beautiful atmosphere.

I recommend this game for the Dart game, the VR game (yes, a VR game inside of a VR game), and the eye candy. Rock, Paper, Scissors is cute, and a pleasant experience after the work it took to get there. I do not recommend it for anyone that is looking for anything overtly sexual, nor would I recommend it to anyone that is not interested in unrealistically proportioned VR girls. ;)
For the VR game, be prepared to face all 4 cardinal directions, and also prepared to move, duck, and shoot at the same time. I loved that game, if you are patient and keep your head on a “swivel” you can work your way through it easily enough. Darts were pleasant, and almost close to the right actions with a real dartboard, although the virtual distance did not appear to be “regulation,” you are too close! (or was I cheating? “Mei” complained that I was too close, but that might have also been because I was standing really close to her when she was throwing too.) :)

Wild Romance: Mofu Mofu Edition
Full disclosure here, Wild Romance: Mofu Mofu Edition is literally a hentai visual novel. The H-content is valued above everything else in the game and it shows. Anyone looking for anything else in this game will be sorely disappointed. I kept that in mind while reviewing the game.
Pros:
Fantastic character designs. If there is anything that Wild Romance really exceeds at, it is definitely the character designs and the overall art. Having great character designs is a must in any sort of H-game, so this is a massive plus. There may only be four characters, but each is nicely designed and fits into a particular niche, with personalities to match.

Very enjoyable. Some of the scenes went on a bit, but based on the colorful language and voice acting, you can tell that they did their best to please everyone. There were a couple of things that were over-the-top for my taste, but for someone whose taste runs to cat girls and so on, I don’t think anyone is likely to be disappointed. The graphics were fine and in this case, I didn’t mind the mosaic censoring on small patches throughout the game. The amount was minor and basically hid a ton of “male members” which I don’t particularly care to view in detail anyway. (Let me add that if you want something more graphic, there are a ton of games out there like Twists of My Life that are much more unrestrained than this game and the price isn’t all that different.)

Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Anime Reloaded
No more need to search the bag of your vacuum-cleaner for the missing parts of your puzzle.
No more need to clean the living room table because it’s time for some coffee.
No more need to chase your parrot because it also wants to play.

Nice puzzle game. Better in some ways than the Pixel Puzzles series. (Specifically, the fact that the puzzle pieces snap together outside the picture frame.) Decent for the price (especially if on discount).

Bottle
Bottle
Special note : This Key was provided by the developer, and not for reviewing purposes but to see how the game runs on my PC laptop, I have an Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 1TB(5400rpm)HDD, NVIDIA OPTIMUS GeForce GT740m video card with in my lovely GIGABYTE laptop, and to be honest I did not think my laptop could even run this game.. SO therefore My Review is solely my choice, and NOT because of a " free key" OK. I just want to make this clear to all who read my review and rate it at will.

Bottle feels more like a bonus chapter of Drizzlepath: Genie rather than a standalone game, although playing Genie before Bottle is not at all required. For those that have previously played Genie, the setting will feel very familiar - you’ll be wandering on a similar path, even with a similar cave, only this time everything is covered in snow. Although the main feelings that the game generates remain: the calm, the stillness, the introspection, meditation, relaxation, there are quite a few notable differences from Genie.

Cinders
PROS
- Cinders’s personality is up to the player via dialogue choices
– Consistency is rewarded, while random personality choices don’t serve as well
-
The art is beautiful, from the backgrounds to the characters
-
Morality is ambiguous, unlike what you expect from fairy tales
-
4 different endings, all with many variations
-
The dialogue flows well and is interesting to follow
-
The stepsisters and stepmother are relatable, vulnerable people with real problems
-
Branches in the storyline feel like they matter for the events that happen no matter what

I enjoyed this game and got a number of hours out of it between multiple ending playthroughs (free flow and some with a guide to finish a few missed options). My one caveat is that you should snag this game on sale or as part of a bundle, as I’m not sure most people will find it justifies its full price.
First, you should know that this game is a lot of reading relative to the interaction time. As the game warns you about in the beginning, this is more like a book where you can make some choices to change the ending, rather than a typical point-n-click story where you are making choices constantly. Luckily, it has a very nice “fast forward” option for skipping dialogue you’ve already seen on playthroughs, which is something that is lacking in many similar games and is amazingly wonderful if you’re hunting down other endings.

Rise of Insanity
Experienced on Oculus Rift
Oh wow, this game was terrifying! To be fair though it’s the first horror game I’ve played in VR, and while I enjoy the occasional horror game I don’t consider myself a ‘fan’ of the genre. As far as whether I recommend it, that’s a bit difficult. If you’re a veteran horror fan you may find the faults a bit many, but I don’t think it’s bad. Overall for an indie title it’s quite well done. I’m not sure how it would compare if you’re not playing in VR though. Despite the many flaws I quite enjoyed it.

I’ve been a long time fan of survival horror games, so when a new one came out and claimed inspirations from movies like The Exorcist/The Shining, and even horror games like Silent Hill, my interest was piqued. With lots of horror games on the market falling short recently, my expectations weren’t really all that high for this. But I’ve been happy with what I’ve seen so far.
First Impression Gameplay:

The single most important part of a horror game for me is the atmosphere. If I can’t be pulling into the world the developer created, how can I effectively be drawn to fear? I’m glad to say the atmosphere in Rise of Insanity is well done and I did find myself absorbed in the world. Background noises, plot pieces, voice acting, purpose of story, everything needed to make a convincing atmosphere is present here.
