Fights in Tight Spaces (Prologue)
Most exciting demo I have played for a very long time. Highly recommended if you are into games like Slay the Spire or Into the Breach. This game has so much potential but I do have a few concerns.
Pros:
-
fighting has a puzzle-like aspect to it, planning your move order really matters
-
great art style and animations
-
some potential for different builds and deck styles
-
it’s very fun. the fights themselves are more entertaining/satisfying than the fights in Slay the Spire, and can occasionally even tell little emergent stories (like the incompetent gunman who kills his whole squad by accident.)

The design concept alone is enough to give this game a try, particularly because it’s a free demo. Unlike so many tactical, turn-based combat systems which put you in the shoes of a typical fantasy, sci-fi, or modern miltary role, Fights in Tight Spaces put you in a role that we’ve seen in hundreds of movies and games, but (at least to my memory), don’t often get the chance to play in a turn-based format: That of the close-quarters martial arts master. Your Jason Bournes, John Wicks, Bruce Lees, Batmans, etc.

Abfense
The peace and quiet of everyday life will be dispelled like an illusion after the appearance of a mysterious stranger on the tail with an enemy army.
Unpredictable circumstances, interesting puzzles and situations that can change the course of events in a split second, go through a difficult path in this struggle for your own home and freedom.
Key Features:
-
Not only build, but take part directly in battles.
-
Defend the castle, complete the puzzles to move on.
-
Easy gameplay that will keep you busy for a couple of hours.
-
Nice graphics.
Aztez
Disclaimer:i received this game for free to make some videos, i’ll link one at the end of this post
Disclaimer 2:this review is focused on the combat and why it’s cool as shit
Aztez is one of the most solid Beat em' Ups i’ve ever played, it does almost everything right
Most of the time when i’m playing action games, i’m thinking “man, why did they do that?, that’s really restrictive”
That doesn’t happen in Aztez, the designers are huge action game fans and they had those same thoughts, as a result Aztez is very tight and fair while still being difficult

It’s been a long time since I’ve been impressed with a game’s combat sysem but holy hell this game is amazing at it. With DMC and Bayonetta seemingly in comatose there’s not much in the way of character action games so colour me surprised when this game released out of seemingly nowhere after not seeing anything since Saurian Dash’s video on it, but it has been worth the wait!
Being able to cancel anything into anything at any time gives the combat amazing depth and flexibility and with 8 total weapons (4 being equippable at any one time) you can combat the game’s nasties with your own sense of style and bloody carnage.

Robot Warriors
This game is incredible. Had me hooked from the choose your character screen. Absolutely worth full price, incredible music and looks beautiful with the graphics on ultra. Contains hours of exciting gameplay and can be quite challenging at times but that just makes it more fun. 10/10 would recommend.

Trapmania
Trapmania is one of those ‘I can’t stop playing’ games for anyone who enjoys comedy, strategy, or action games. The music is pretty good, and makes each map seem even more unique. The graphics are great. Lot’s of comical animations and sound effects. Would recommend for anyone looking for 10-15 hours of intense and challenging strategy.

Whiskey & Zombies: The Great Southern Zombie Escape
Loving this game so far. Super fun top down game, kinda like a slower and more suspenseful version of Hotline Miami. The game is fun but also super hard (almost to the point of frustrating, but I keep coming back for more). Never screamed so much playing a game I think. The zombies sneak up on you and the horde is real!!! A good combo of strategy and fighting.
100% recommended!

Fun as hell, I played it on comic con like three years ago and bought it the other day. The game is still really buggy but I know it has potential.
