Gaijin Troubles
It’s awesome. It has really great, beautiful graphics, cute characters and really fun gameplay. I also absolutely love the soundtrack. especially the music that plays when you’re out and about just walking around. I love this game so much. So much that i did a speedrun of it! The game is a little laggy though, but it’s most likely my PC lol I’ll admit though, the lag actually allowed me to clip through some things in my speedrun :)

I mean, it’s tremendously flawed with poor hit detection, troublesome camera, unwieldy fighting system … but it’s still kind of fun in a dumb way, primarily because it’s schoolgirls. Check it out if it’s on sale, you’ll have some fun with it.

UPPERS
After having finished the game, I can say I had an absolute blast.
Memories of Kenka Banchou flow back in to me…
The slower combat turned me off a bit at first, but I began to love the way each hit felt impactful, and it was satisfying seeing the goons get launched like fireworks at Voltage 3. Later on I awakened to a partial dash-cancel combo which added a whole new feel to the combat. Main complaint is directed at multiple combatant fights, as you can easily get stun-locked when playing on Hard Mode. In addition, the time interval between enemy attacks seems to be just a little shorter than your light-attack combo, leading to enemies constantly interrupting your combos unless you switch targets.

First off, I actually liked the game itself, the problem here is the port of it.
According to Marvelous, this game is “fully remastered in 1080p, 60FPS”.
Well, I can’t say that is true at all.
If you were expecting better graphics than the PSVita with upgraded assets, then forget about it, this game rather than being a remaster is just a simple port and it doesn’t look any better… and sadly, as a port is not a very good one.
Main issue is frame-rate, I run this on a i7-8700K, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1060, and at some points the game is a PowerPoint slideshow. The game runs at pretty unstable 60fps and sometimes it has 15fps-like moments. This doesn’t mean it’s unplayable, I actually have cleared the main story and have about 70% of the achievements, that being said, the game itself it’s pretty fun and addictive, problem is that it’s not very comfortable to play it like this.

Huuma Mina: The Secret of Immortality (Censored)
By now!! : D
You know.
There is no, sexual interactions. (So please don’t feel fooled.) Which is nice.
Huuma Mina is a genuine living character, & i encourage the creator if he can. To give more attentive care, (Haijime) really gave an interesting identity to this character, & ‘a monster too.’ point of view.
The script: as a whole for ‘Secret of immortality’ puts authentic morals, in the story. That’s not bad! Nice, to hear real conversation between characters. An yes, there is also gushy cheesy humor in the game. - iF you’re not into silly stuff, & skip the text. You’ll find the game very doll/empty.

VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI-
Valkryie Drive Bhikkuni is basically the spin off of the anime Valkryie Drive Mermaid, where you have girls infected with special viruses and are able to power up and wield powerful weapons by……. yuri relationships. Yes, you will have girls French kissing their partners and fondling each other to get a massive power up. Basically there will be a pair of girls, a Liberator, which wields the weapon after the power up, and the Extar, which transforms into the said weapon after being fondled or French kissed. Anyway, this game takes place in an island named Bhikkuni, which sounds oddly like bikini (perhaps a foreshadowing of “plot”?).

TBH I attempted to get a refund for this game after first purchasing it as it was glitching like hell. But as it turns out the main issue (game not starting at boot up) is actually easy to resolve. So if you do this buy this game and run into issues, read this post:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1701674891
It will fix 99% of the problems. In my experience, even after this, the game does on rare occasions still crashes so saving your progress often is recommended.
Other than these issues, the game otherwise functions very well.

Was going to write a long review but I think it would just be better to say that this is the best game I’ve ever played and end it at that.

SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal
Overall, this is the best Senran Kagura game, but with a few caveats.
Senran Kagura: Burst Re:Newal is a complete remake of Senran Kagura: Burst which was a side-scrolling beat ‘em up on Nintendo 3DS and the first game in the Senran Kagura series. The story is the same but everything else was rebuilt from the ground up. If you’re new to the series I recommend starting here. Being the latest entry, Burst Re:Newal has by far the best graphics and gameplay out of all mainline Senran Kagura games, and the story takes you all the way to the beginning and does a very good job of introducing the setting and characters.

Preclaimer
- This isn’t a game with fanservice. This is fanservice using it’s disguise as a game as excuse to be in your Steam library. Yes, I make this a valid point to know.
Chronology
Yes, big busted lewd ninjas come with a story somewhat continuing throughout the main games of the series. If you care about understanding the later ones, you should know the prior ones.
All side games though are spinoffs not really needing any knowledge, but they basically play after the main series.

AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed
After a little over 80 hours, I’ve finally got the platinum badge. Now, I would like to mention that platinum isn’t the same as 100% I am not even close to getting 100%, there’s still so much clothes and weapons and nicknames and other stuff to collect. I just managed to get all of the Steam achievements, but that’s good enough for me! And now that I’ve gotten platinum, I figured I might as well write a review.
So as you already know, this game was originally released in 2011 for the PSP, and now in 2021 they decided to release a PC HD remake. Now, I’ve never played the original PSP game, but I am certain that they have made good improvements, and it’s also a very nice port.

Don’t ask for HIS measurements!
Onto a more serious review. I wish there was a neutral recommendation but, since there isn’t, I cannot recommend this game at full price.
To preface this review, I played the original version and the plus version on a psp years ago.
I love that Aquire has translated this game into English and ported it to pc. It makes it easier preserve such a great series.
However, if you are coming in from Undead & Undressed, you may be disappointed.
While it does say HD update, the graphics does not look great when it is up-scaled to 1080p and above. Also, the voice recordings sound compressed. This is to be expected when you port a psp game to pc.

Dragon Spear
Important Edits/Changes
Edit 1: Due to a recent update (1.002), all the pirates and cheaters are gone– the servers have been incredibly stable, and the game’s as fun as it was intended to be.
Edit 2: The next update (1.003) added something that really made my experience 200% better: the Fashion Shop! With it, you can hide your wings! Not too important a change, but for someone like me, this change was very much needed, and very much appreciated!
Edit 3: I spoke too soon– the cheating has become rampant again, and for such an easy game, it’s really petty. Why pay $15 just to cheat? All the cheaters tend to really suck or don’t know boss patterns, too, as they’re also prone to dying if they don’t use god mode or cheat to spam their ultimate which gives invincibility.

This is actually a pretty good game. I started playing this while also playing Fallout 4 and surprisingly found myself coming back to this little game which has interesting mechanics in regards to gear, character builds, etc. Best example I can give is a 2D version Monster Hunter or Warframe, but with pretty anime aesthetics and a slight exaggeration on female boobs lol, but I guess that’s to be expected from a game like this (the artstyle reminds me of a jrpg called Magna Carta, which was apparently drawn by a Korean artist, and Dragon Spear is made by Korean devs so I guess that explains it). Not hating on it by any means, I actually like the artstyle and I think it’s really well done, but I’m just saying in general.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
If you are obsessed with Yakuza games just like me, then Yakuza 6 will be a good experience.
Plot is both captivating and nonsense, just like all the other Yakuza games. Sidequests are entertaining and funny. This huge “Onomichi’s secret” is silly as hell, but other than that, this game fulfill it’s goal being both a good and bittersweet conclusion to Kiryu Saga.
Cabaret Club is a little different and easier in this game. K2 clan battles are back, way less boring, but way more grinding. Snack New Gaudi is a different, yet kinda enjoyable new minigame. And spearfishing it’s actually pretty fun. I am still confused with baseball, though.

Another great addition to the franchise and while I feel like the ending could have been better. It is still a good yakuza game
