Yakuza 0
Hello friends,
Today i will review the game Yakuza 0. This is the first in the series of yakuza games, but not the first one made for the series. This is basically the game that lets you understand the rest of the series. Note: If any of this info is wrong, please tell me in the comments in my review and ill change it immedietly..thank you. Anyways, this game follows two characters that are part of the yakuza, or trying to join the yakuza. Withought spoiling too much, the game follows the two characters thru many adventures in the game. Also, there is alot of side content. The time associated with my playing is because of the side stuff. You might just like the side stuff in the game and ignore the main story for awhile. It is quite addictive to just do the side things and ignore the main story. Anyways, some of the side stuff is actually pretty hard too. So here is my pro/con list:

I’ve had so much fun with this one.
Way too many unforgettable moments and characters.
The side quests and mini games are so entertaining that sometimes I stop for a while and remember I’ve got a main story to complete. Even still, the main story is sensational.
You get to also play as two of the most chad protagonists in gaming history, why wouldn’t you wanna do that?
9/10

Was going to write a long review but I think it would just be better to say that this is the best game I’ve ever played and end it at that.

Super Friends Party
Super friends party is, simply put, a modern masterpiece. The game explores themes such as mental disabilities in the form of the minigames. Each game represents a certain theme. For, example, Mexico Simulator, takes a deep and realistic dive into what the country of Mexico is really like. The first person shooters are art forms in themselves. Playing these minigames helped me not only explore the game, but helped me develop special skills that I use to this day. This game isn’t just a game, but an experience. The only downside is that once you play it, there is nothing on this Earth that is better, Super Friends Party is the absolute peak of human creation.

This game is incredibly well-made. Firstly, the character design is absolutely amazing, because of the variety in shapes and sizes the characters have, representing all members of society. This masterpiece also features some of the most creative mini-games I’ve ever seen. The graphics are absolutely breathtaking, they are superior to all other games out right now. Lastly, the soundtrack of this game is incredibly diverse and features a wide variety of songs, whenever I hear this music I’ll recognize it for sure, just like the music in Minecraft. The maps in the games are freakishly realistic. For example, I was playing “Castle Shootup” and it felt like I was in an actual castle shooting people. Don’t have any friends to play with? Well this game features some of the most masterfully made bots in any game I’ve ever played. The bots are very human-like, and you can actually become friends with them. They talk to you, and are extremely kind and funny.

Yakuza Kiwami
the comical eye-patch man comes out of the sewers

I played Yakuza 0 prior to this one and I must admit that I was not prepared for the difference between Majima’s style at the end of 0 and at the start of Kiwami.
This being said, loved the game and looking forward to the following ones….

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
The fact that they released an old game in this state is absolutely ridiculous and inexcusable.
-
Partial controller support for a game that doesn’t support kb+m despite the fact that it could work (you need workarounds in order to play with Dualshock 4 for gods sake).
-
Constant crashing during load screens. You know that lovely feeling of doing side stuff for hours only to have the game crash on you and removing all your progress because autosave isn’t a thing? Outstanding.
-
No options whatsoever. Wow look, you can toggle fullscreen on or off, so advanced.

SPOILERS AHEAD! PLAY THE GAME FIRST THEN READ MY REVIEW!
Aaaaand that’s the next game all done! What an experience this game was. Let’s begin with the review:
Soooo…once again, I’m glad I gave these games a chance and I’m glad that I bought both of these instead of just one, definitely got a more fuller experience with them. So, where do I stand on this game?
Story/Narrative
While I don’t think this game is narratively better than the first game, The assassins in this game don’t feel like real people at times and more or less just feel like ‘oh, just another bad guy for Travis to fight to get to the top, I guess.’ It’s kind of jarring going from a game that had characters with some levels of depth to them and you could almost feel their struggles up until they died to a sequel where only a few of the assassins actually feel like they’re properly fleshed, and one of those few is just a character from the first game brought back from the dead that Travis himself doesn’t even get to face, with that character being ‘New Destroyman’, instead Shinobu fights him (or rather them since there’s two now and it’s kind of an annoying fight, ngl.) The story is….worse than the first game and while it has it’s good moments in it as well like Henry fighting an anime mecha girl, Shinobu making her moves on Travis which is uhhh…kind of funny and kind of weird at the same time considering the fans who probably DID ship them got slapped in the face and those who didn’t were probably just thinking ‘Yeah, that seems about right’, and Travis and Sylvia having more banter (which was some of my favorite moments in the first game and this one since we got to see the two interact more here and form a sort of…screwed up bond), overall, the story is just…okay, not as good as the first game’s but not god-awful either…Jasper is a really crappy character, though, ngl, he’s comic-book as heck and he really only just made Travis get out of retirement because of him killing Greg/Bishop…who barely mattered before in the games asides from him fetching your bike on NMH1 and running the shop in both games. It’s just kind of sad we didn’t get a better story considering how amazingly improved everything else was.

Party Arena: Board Game Battler
Have friends? check
Want to crush them in mini games? double check
Want to then destroy their souls by killing them right before they get the final goblet and win? triple check
This game is infinite laughs when you play with friends. The minigames are really fun and pretty diverse. The board game part is pretty interesting, sorta like mario party but you get tons of items to attack the other people with. You can kill them and make them respawn at the start, or just push them to a different path, totally stopping them from going where they wanted to.

I have played the game while it was free to play for one day and i really liked it. I like the fact that you can use your gadgets to kill or move yourself or other player. For now the game is great. I hope in the future the creator can make more minigames, more board and more character in the game. I really enjoyed playing it!

Jelly Brawl
If you’re on the fence about getting this game, try out Jelly Brawl Classic, the free version of this game that offers the classic mode. If you like what you see, the full version is definitely worth the price.
The full game supports two additional game modes, online support, and a custom level builder. Each of the new game modes, race and hit & go, use the same mechanics as the classic mode but offer new twists and allow players to refine their jelly handling techniques to remain victorious

I really love this game! It’s very fun, It looks nice and doesn’t hurt my eyes, and the music is a bop! If you have the time and money please check this game out! Although this doesn’t mean the game is perfect. The game can be a bit laggy at times (mostly online). And it’s also difficult to find players online. But even with the flaws, this is a very fun and cool game that I think is worth your time.
