City of Rott: Streets of Rott
I’ve been playing this game for past an hour. Personally it’s really fun, fighting through hordes of zombies with some pretty fun mechanics and weapons you’ll find lying around.
The music as usual with Frank’s other work (City of Rott, Dead Fury, and Shock Invasion) is well put together, it gets you pumped up as you play.
Though some of my complaints is the collision and how the zombie touches, they’ll barely touch you and you’ll lose so many health. Sometimes when you use the gun it will not kill them, the bullets will just fly past them. Most importantly the control mechanic, I’m just not use to playing on keyboard, I was really hoping there was a control mechanic so I could play with my xbone controller.

This is quite the fun game, shreding through zombies with 3 unique characters that have unique attacks to crush and decapitate zombies. This game is good for me because of the atmosphere, graphics and music, despite having clunky physics, hit detection, and the levels could go on for a bit too long in my opinion.
If anyone loves beating the crap out of zombies, this might be the game for you.
EDIT: Added more feedback.

Retro Classix: Night Slashers
The game itself is amazing, but I can’t recommend this port. I did one full playthrough, and suffered near constant flickering and stuttering, as well as random slowdown. Plus it’s the censored version with the green blood and all that.
Hopefully we get a patch to resolve these issues, but as it stands… it’s a monstrosity.

This is a fun beat ‘em up. It will definitely be a part of my Halloween fun this year.
I played it through entirely and didn’t have any problems at all. However, it seems like lots of people do. I’d suggest trying the nslasher.zip file in MAME 2003 or Final Burn Neo. They worked fine for me in them too.

So you’ve read the description and now you’re down here in the comments trying to figure out what’s it all about. Click the video above to see some of the gameplay, mechanic and hear my thoughts on the game.
Appetite for Detestation is a 3D beat’em up set in the Victorian era where you get to play as the monster reeking havoc on the citizens in order to satiate your blood thirst. After reading that description I am sure you are, like I was, hype to jump into the game and get to slaying. Well, let’s talk about the positives of the game first. The music is probably the best part of the game. It’s eerie, inviting and sets the mood for a monster of the time. The environments are also well designed; plenty of destructive pieces and platforming to be had in each level.

Hollow Ghost
Hollow ghost is a game in which you do not need to think much, your task is to fight monsters, ghosts and various enemies until you get to the boss level himself.
Your task is to destroy the birthplaces of enemies, destroy all enemies on the map and finally destroy the boss. After this completion, another level will be available to you.
Enjoy a nice lit and graphically processed environment in the fog, darkness, which looks like drawn horror environment.

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile
SO! First question you guys might ask yourselves when looking at this game:
Q: “Is the gameplay any good?”
A: Yes. BIG yes. So far, gameplay wise, it’s the best side scrolling beat’em up I’ve ever played. The gameplay is fast paced, smooth, and VERY satisfying. Both with controller AND keyboard. Feels like Smash bros but tighter and more visceral.
NOTE: For the keyboard though, you’re gonna want to go into your options, and switch your, “Blood Warp” ability to the, “F” key. You’ll know what I mean once you get the Blood Warp ability. (You get it within the 1st 5-10 minutes of playing)

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile is the sequel to The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. They both were Xbox Live Arcade games. For some reason, only this one was ported over which is disappointing because TD:VS is an awesome blood pumping beat’em up. The story is told in comic book style comment bubbles and stills, which is fine considering the 2D style to the game. You don’t necessarily need to play the first one to understand the story of this game. Its recounted numerous times during the cutscenes.
There are two playable characters Yuki (The Prisoner) or the Dishwasher. Both have their own arsenals of weapons at their disposal but operate mostly the same as far as movement and dish magic. Dish magic is 4 special abilities that can really change the tide of battle in your favor. There are also beads you can equip that add various effects to the character you choose. Both characters will share any health or magic upgrades you purchase, but the weapon upgrades are unique to the individual character. A floating robot acts as a vendor throughout most levels to purchase character upgrades and items.

6 Feet Behind
Make monsters clash with each others to win. Cool arcade gameplay with horror aesthetics and 4 distinct campaign (game-modes). But sadly it’s gets old fast.

Bloody Paws: Passion Unleashed
Really great little beat ‘em up! Starts getting pretty tricky after a while
! and the ending’s pretty lackluster rn, though (But hey: It’s Early Access, everything’s subject to change/improvement)
Definitely worth the $5 and I’m looking forward to seeing how this one develops!
