Blade and Ham
There is a lot to like about this but the combat needs some work. Often when doing combos the character will go through the enemies making the combo miss. Weird hit detection. I guess that is why it is early access. There is a nice overworld map with some extra levels you can take on to get coins used to continue. Decent graphics and a good variety of characters. Hopefully the developer fixes the combat issues. I probably will not play anymore until it gets some patches.

The game has nice graphics, but in its current state, I strongly don’t recommend Blade and Ham. The game is NOT ready for release to the public. Blade and Ham has several big bugs & is very unpolished.
The game’s bugs are its biggest flaw. For example, you can’t save your progress (you start over at every new game). Plus, can’t take any pictures (doing so causes an error, the game ends, & you can’t exit the game either).
On a side note, Valve, please stop distributing crappy games that lack basic features. Such behavior just makes people want to go buy their games elsewhere, such as Epic Games. I wouldn’t even play Blade and Ham for free in its current state.

So you’ve read the description and now you’re down here in the comments trying to figure out what’s it all about. Click the video above to see some of the gameplay, mechanic and hear my thoughts on the game.
Appetite for Detestation is a 3D beat’em up set in the Victorian era where you get to play as the monster reeking havoc on the citizens in order to satiate your blood thirst. After reading that description I am sure you are, like I was, hype to jump into the game and get to slaying. Well, let’s talk about the positives of the game first. The music is probably the best part of the game. It’s eerie, inviting and sets the mood for a monster of the time. The environments are also well designed; plenty of destructive pieces and platforming to be had in each level.

Kitsune Killer
Attempting to play the game here:
First off there’s a major glitch always at 6 hearts if an enemy suicides they stop spawning I also unfortunately found out on stage 4 at 34 hearts and 39 hearts it glitches as well. I gave this game my best attempt, but stage 4 they are so suicidal it’s annoying and no longer worth the effort. Dialogue at the start is WAY too fast as well. This is just personal preference, but I really wish you had to platform to the enemies instead of being able to dash through platforms with your slash. I like the concept of the game and when it works it’s pretty dang cool I like it enough I’m not going to refund it even though it’s broken, but as it is right now absolutely cannot recommend game is broken.

Medieval - Embers of War
TLDR: Medieval - Embers of War is the most basic, boring, repetitive side scroller fighting game of this century. Despite the colorful visuals, It clearly shows it’s inexperience; either coding/design/concept wise all together. pulls hair
BUT it is a much, much better product compared to their first product: Urban Justice (UJ). That is a piece of crap. it’s a bigger crap if you compared it to Street of Rage 4 (SOR4) which was just released on 30 Apr, 2020, which the devs mentioned UJ was inspired by SOR. crushed the mouse

Things I like:
-It has local co op, so me and my non gamer boo can play this relatively easy game.
-It reminded me a bit of Double Dragon type fun.
-Does challenge even a seasoned gamer in it’s harder modes
-Graphics are pretty darn nice and smooth
Things I didn’t like :
-In Local Co op, the keyboard player gets stuck holding block randomly
-Slow and clunky battle system
-Lack of variety in gender, fashion, upgrades.
-No button to go to Home screen/Quit game from the Castle Upgrade page.
