The Blobs Fight
Fantastic little game that i played with my 7 years old dauther. My wife join us even if she’s not a gamer. I hope devs will add a online single player mode.

Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex
Roarr! The Adventures of Rampage Rex isn’t dino-mite at all, and to be fair it’s pretty terrible. The graphics are just ugly, really ugly, It felt they were trying to create that old arcade game feel but it doesn’t do any wonders. And the gameplay gets repetitive really quickly and the controls are just awkward and hard to get used to. And the worst thing about this game is that Horrible music, the music is just agony and not only that it repeats over and over to the point where you feel that your ears are going to bleed. The story is simple and nothing special you play as Sue the T-rex who is woken up by an invading alien race who want to take over the world and it’s up to you to save it, not much to phone home about. Kids might enjoy the game but adults, meh, not so much at all. Rating: 1/10

This is a great game for the kids as a time waster. It’s even split screen coop if you want to play with them. The buttons are few so it’s easy for them to learn the controls. For $3 normal price / under $1 on sale, it’s worth it if you have kids that like to play.

Sacrifice Your Friends
Basically, this is the mechanics of overcooked mixed with the gameplay ideas of Gang Beasts. It super fun to dash around use and throw the weapons, some weapons are a little more useful than others, but they are all counterable. It controls well. A bunch of cool little stuff to unlock, like hats and characters, a bunch of different powerful gods to play, all with different gameplay styles. A whole bunch of beautifully designed maps/artwork, and a whole bunch of other stuff to explore. A great and simple versus game that is definitely worth picking up.

This is an amazingly fun item-arena brawler. The closest games I would compare it to are the Bomberman series and Killer Queen Black.
Your character avatar has no impact on your move set, which consists of punching, grabbing/activating an item, and throwing an item. Your associated Ancient One cult (Cthulhu, Dagon, and Nyarlathotep right now) does have a slightly altered move set, which are fitting for the time-limited avatar transformations (similar to a Smash Bros. Smash Ball). The game moves at such a frantic, hilariously fast and fun pace that it doesn’t need more than this.

Beat Me!
Fast-paced SS Bros.-style party game stylised as a puppet show. Level design is amazing with highly interactive environments. Extremely replayable due to level variable seeding. Intense fun for 1-6p.
This game has had the family gathered around shouting at the TV every night for the last several weeks now. My young fella’s favourite game (even though I keep beating him - NO MERCY!).

In my opinion the best game to play with my friends.
I would still have some suggestions after playing it a few times:
Maybe the golem is a little too fast, and the wizard is much too powerful, to have fun we stopped using them.
We also would have liked a random character selection mode, and why not a mode with a random character in each round?
Those are the “important” points I wanted to give you as a feedback, keep on going, we hope for new maps and new characters as well of course.
Keep it up, great game!

Next Up Hero
Saw a streamer I know play this and it looked interesting enough for me to buy during the February Steam sale. Since then I’ve been unable to put this game down.
Be warned, though, this is Early Access and it shows. Some of the menuing doesn’t work as expected, you can sometimes get stuck on screens, not all the ventures show, you can easily go out of bounds on some characters, etc. There’s also a variety of tuning issues, with the time trials requiring you to think with a speedrunner’s mindset, the sky is falling levels filling your screen with rocks that on the edge of the level can be hard to see, don’t be greedy levels that rob you of gaining precious prestige, and other things.

I was a bit shocked that with all of the negative reviews I would like the game as much as I did. I have been enjoying it quite a bit and have unlocked a bunch of heroes and created my own stages and so on. It is fairly enjoyable, I also enjoy the boss pushing mechanic as well. It is weird in that you are kinda supposed to die and build on your own defeat. The same goes for other people. If you have friends that play the game it does become way more fun as you can tackle dungeons in co op and also have more echos to use faster as your friends die playing your stages. I had no problem with it. The bosses have a lot of health but in roughly 4 tries if you know their mechanics you can take down their full health bar. The last time I tried I did it in 2.

Disney Bolt
This game is definitely one of my favorites ever! The only complaint I have is on the level where Bolt is in the cage, you can’t get passed the steam vents without dying and having to restart because he goes too slow. I have this game also on Xbox 360 and he goes faster to beat the vents, so I guess it’s the PC version that does this. This level is toward the end so you can get through a good portion of the game. Overall great game, have always loved this adventure story and playing as bolt. :)

It’s an ok, game. But this version (PC port) is quite glitchy, at times the enemy models would stretch out blocking the camera (to be honest, it was quite funny).
BUT, there is one “bug” in this game that makes it rather “difficult” to finish. It is on the “Time to flea” level, your movement speed is too slow for you to get past the steam pipes without taking damage. Resulting in you being stuck in this level, unable to complete it.
(On other platforms such as: PS2, your movement speed is fast enough to get past without taking damage.)

Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 - The Crystal Menhir
It’s a very good and fun game for coop for two kids or a parent and a kid. Even though the coop experience is diminished by poorly thought way of handling camera when the two heroes are far apart .
So:
-
- great graphics,
-
- great sound ,
-
- great level design , alternating between quests, puzzles , fights
-
- good dialogues ,
-
- good story,
-
- dogmatix is adorable and fierce!! ,
-

-
- Fakeusnewus , Econimicrasious and other funny characters

I have been a huge fan of Asterix since my childhood. Played XXL 1 many many times and 2 sporadically and loved them very much.
This game is a disgrace to Asterix (XXL). The developers didn’t attempt to make a 3D game like the other two games have been and made some random “mobile top down” game for the quick cash grab. The menu interface is even ripped off straight out of the XXL 2 remaster. No effort put into it in any way.
The game looks nice, going for the collectibles is very fun and bringing back a specific Roman from the very first Asterix comic (and animated movie) is a great touch. I think that is about all covering the positives of this game.

Just Beat Em Up : World of Fury
This game reminds me my chilhood. Hours spend on Street of Rage with my cousins =D For an Indie game, i am surprised about to feel the nostalgy from retro game on Steam x) That’s awesome !
I would say it’s a typicall game from that time. Pixel art, gameplay a bit frustrating, (although the beginning is pretty easy), high-scores. The musics are a little bit too recent but that goes well. For an old game, there is also more story / characters background =D A wiki would be nice, there is nothing on the website. It tooks me a while to find out that we can throw weapons

Just Beat Em Up: World of Fury is a tribute to all the good beat them up from the nineties like
Double Dragon and Street of Rage.
This game is fun and has a good re playability with all the different mode available, you can also play it on local with a friend.
There is also ‘Champion Mode’ if the game is to easy for you.
I really recommend this game if you are nostalgic of the 16bit area like me.

Ben 10
I have been a fan of the Ben 10 franchise ever since the first episode came out. I have also watched every single Ben 10 episode from the classic to Omniverse, and played almost half of the games released for the franchise. Despite being a fanatic of the Ben 10 franchise, however, I wouldn’t recommend buying this game for the current price ($30).
If you are expecting to relive your childhood for a good 10-20 hours (even if you despise the Reboot but just want the latest Ben 10 game) and have the $30 to spare, sure go buy it now! If you’re not a big fan and just want to play the game for what it is, just wait for a sale.

I don’t like reboot that much. I watched the original Ben 10 when I was a kid and loved it. Still watching it from time to time but reboot… there’s something off about it which I cannot describe. I’ve decided to buy this game just to play as Diamondhead but ended up playing as Heatblast most of the time. He annihilates everything once maxed out and makes other aliens look like a joke. You have 10 aliens to choose, you’re familiar with most of them if you’ve watched the original cartoon so it won’t feel like a different one. Game itself is not good, though. Here’s why…
