Moderium
Edit: I have something around 5 hours in the game now and am really enjoying it. The bosses feel different, they each have their own way of being countered. Some builds are easier at dealing with certain bosses than others. The zap tier keeps the pressure up and makes it so you can’t just kite high level enemies endlessly without fear of damage because the Zaps will keep the constant pressure. I unlocked the Cryomancer and am enjoying it so far, the Cryomancer starts off with access to all Frost Skills and their modifiers at level 1, in addition to some points automatically put in each skill which makes you immediately feel stronger and saves skill points. The Enhancement feature is unique to this type of game, instead of reaching level 100 and just farming for gear you have the option to reset to level 1 and get 10 skill points immediately, while having all of your items and skills reset - A feature I prefer over something that just forces grinding. I couldn’t progress further than level 155’ish enemies so I reset to level 1, unlocking the Cryomancer in the process.

A fun little game for anyone, and I mean anyone, my mom who hates and doesn’t really get games enjoyed it. You go through portal after portal fighting mobs in many different ways. I liked the pack master build, just all sorts of wolves running around eating foes while I ran away like the chicken I am. The fire build was fun also, I got to run the mobs through a trail of fire…also as I ran away from them. Items can make your builds better with good specs on the random good drops or you can craft your own. So its a good little sit down play for 15-20 min or more if you want to build up to the better builds and open better classes as you start out as a poor nobody and build up from there.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
Came here as a gamer… left as a professional rice farmer degree
The realistic, in depth elements of rice farming combined with honing fighting skills plus surprising character revelations and development make Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin a magnificent game. Beside its beautiful story‚ Sakuna’s personal growth is a pleasure to watch. Her reason for living is tested to the limit. The balanced emphasis on farming and fighting provides a great variety of tasks to undertake, providing dozens of hours of fun.

I’ll leave a TLDR at the bottom.
I was hesitant yet curious coming into Sakuna. A game that’s half side-scroller beat’m up, and half in-depth rice farming is something unique and interesting to me.
We are introduced to Sakuna, a daughter of harvest goddesss Toyohana and war god Takeribi. Sakuna is a goddess who resides in the capital indulging herself on all sorts of expensive luxuries until one day she meets a certain group of humans and gets involved in an unfortunate event that has her and the group exiled to an isle of demons called Hinoe. It is on this isle that Sakuna will grow rice, hunt demons, and come to learn more about the humans that were exiled along with her.

Monkey vs Dino
Fighting games are one of the oldest pillars of video games that have been published for many years in various forms and shapes. From violent and bloody Mortal Kombat to Tekken and Street Fighter. But the issue in all fighting games is they are very slow to progress. Yes, the main thing in fighting games is to choose two characters and fight with each other. But the content of all these games would soon be boring for players who did not follow the game professionally. Another area that most fighting games didn’t take seriously was the story or single section, which in most games was not so strong that it could be considered a strong point…

COINS BATTLE
I give a qualified thumbs up. If you can get this game for $0.99 or less, it’s worth playing just for the concept. I wouldn’t pay more than that. There is no tutorial and no explanation of the rules. I sort of get it and it’s interesting up to a point.

Looks like I get to write the first review for COINS BATTLE. Lucky me.
COINS BATTLE is a very low quality mobile-tier clicker game where you tap on various coins to make them “fight” other coins by running into them, just like the screenshots show. Exciting, isn’t it? Yeah, I know.
Usually I’d go into why this game is so insultingly bad no PC gamer should buy it, but I’ve lately gone through so many asset flips and game construction kit garbage, it’s really refreshing that at least there’s an original concept here. It’s not a good concept, and it’s badly implemented, but at least it’s original, as far as I know.
