I like ARM. It is a fun game, it wasn’t too easy or too difficult, It was challenging but not frustrating, the controls were easy to learn, music was good, and it’s a good-looking game.

Brawler
A classic-style beat em up made by a small team. Impressive! I enjoyed the three heroes and great variety of enemies. They looked realistic; almost like digitized actors. The music was catchy, and stages were fun. The cutscenes with the reporter, hero, and the ending were a nice touch. I felt it could use voices for landing hits, continue, difficulty setting, and maybe free lives, But well done on this indie game.

Fight’N Rage
Good game overall, takes a lot of things from classics maybe to the point where it starts hurting the game own identity.
Gameplay is a mix of classic beat-em-up with a few mechanics from fighting games, most enemies are archetypes you will recognize if you’ve played SoR1-3 and Final Fight, also features branching levels.
Has a fairly spiky difficulty curve (some level branches in particular are much harder) and has a really high difficulty ceiling (less so than say SoR2 but not by much), lower difficulties accessible enough for most to have some fun (especially easy mode which is almost insultingly easy), difficulty curve turns to a cliff once you start looking past hard mode which means most won’t ever see the last two difficulty levels.

Being a child of the 80’s and 90’s, there was no shortage of beat em‘ up games. Titles such as Streets of Rage, Final Fight, and Double Dragon were all the rage and kept you entertained for hours on end. Sadly, the current gaming landscape is nearly devoid of games such as these. Outside of a few gems that are still years old, beat em’ ups are pretty much dead. Thankfully, Indie developers don’t know this and are still cranking them out. This is where Fight’N Rage comes in!
I only recently heard about Fight’N Rage, and that was only due to me looking at another game – which I won’t mention. Instead, I began to see comments about a little-known game in development. One that had quite the following. My interest piqued, I started to search for the game and found little information. Buried beneath dead websites and Reddit posts, I found the name of the developer and the title – Fight’N Rage. A game that inspired by countless Beat ’em up titles from the past and puts a spin on it. There are references to those games littered everywhere as well.

“Cat’s Cradle” is splendid. The movement is fluid, the levels and bosses are moderately challenging, the soundtrack fits the stylistics, and the visuals are simple, but gorgeous.

STAY COOL, KOBAYASHI-SAN!: A RIVER CITY RANSOM STORY
Some series don’t get the credit they deserve, and for a long time Yoshihisa Kishimoto’s Kunio Kun franchise was one of them. Despite inventing the multi-directional street beat-em-up, the series has stayed relatively unknown, up until 2019, when Wayforward’s River City Girls became a hit and got far more people’s attention. The time was ripe to make more Kunio games, and better yet, ARC managed to re-enlist the aid of series creator Yoshihisa Kishimoto. This game could and should have been great, but for every good decision they made with it, there’s several more that had me wondering, why?!

Stay Cool Kobayashi-san is the latest in the River City Series, the game itself has different gameplay to that of River City Girls and River City Ransom Underground so it might seem a little clanky at first.
The trick is to press the jump button after finishing a combo, and to press the attack button right when being attacked to block an attack. Some people will dislike it because of the lack of leveling and stat enhancements as previous titles but its meant to be a quick game with replayability.

6 Feet Behind
Make monsters clash with each others to win. Cool arcade gameplay with horror aesthetics and 4 distinct campaign (game-modes). But sadly it’s gets old fast.

Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show
Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show
Redneck Ed: Astro Master Show takes place in a fantasy universe where aliens abduct people, creatures, and beings to make them fight for their amusement.
A fascinating story concept, which would be a waste if the gameplay wasn’t up to it; luckily it is. The gameplay is simple with a fun level progression system and a ton of goofy funky-looking opponents to beat up.

Redneck Ed: Astro Monsters Show is an arcade fighting platformer arena game.
The game nails the cartoonish graphics and animations. This is the one thing I can't complain about. The music is good, but sound effects are missing for certain actions leaving you unsatisfied. Sometimes both music and sounds bug out and restart after a few seconds.
There's 15 arena levels to choose from, each having 3 difficulties with 2 challenges per difficulty. The good thing is that each arena feels different enough to offer interesting challenges whether it's waves of enemies, environment or boss battles. The balance is where it goes wrong, some of them feel good, some boring and some feel extremely hard to complete. To progress to new arenas you will need to have played higher difficulties and perform the certain challenges. Besides needing enough stars to unlock new arenas, you will also need to learn the new moves that allow you to complete them at all. Another balance issue is the power creep where the new abilities end up being used and the old ones mostly forgotten.
