Trenchfoot is just good clean local multiplayer fun for up to 16 friends. If you enjoy old-school multiplayer games like Bomberman, you’re going to love Trenchfoot!

Included in the current build of Trenchfoot is:

  • Support for up to 16 local players

  • 9 powerups and items

  • Players can place blocks. Blocks add a defensive aspect to the game. Blocks will stop explosions from spreading and can be used to shape dymanic ones.

  • Flood explosions, these explosions will fill the space available to them. They flood around corners, scurry through bottlenecks and expand into open spaces.

  • Players place tiles during the gameplay modifying the level

  • Destroyable blocks are the standard destroyable blocks players can place these. They create temporary barriers, and also continue to add powerups during gameplay.

  • Water tiles are a player placeable tiles that stop explosions from spreading, but do not hinder player movement

  • Pipe tiles are a player placeable tile that funnel explosions and players through them. If an explosion gets into a pipe it will be directed through it until it exits. Once it exits it will continue to expand again until its magnitude is expended.

  • Smaller maps built to support as few as 2 players with larger ones available for up to 16 players.

  • The game now has music! It’s a sweet upbeat happy tune made by a talented artist named Nom.

Trenchfoot is a local multiplayer only game. There is no single content in the game.

Color me impressed. Despite being a free release, this game has a level of depth and polish I did not expect going in. Take a broad, knowledge-rewarding crafting system (the best aspect of Black Survival), well scripted AI, crisp, distinct hitboxes, and the constant race against time, and whamo, fun times.

I only have 12 hours atm so I’m just getting started but I love it.

Great game!

Suggestions: (because no one asked)

I would love to see a co-op mode added and the ability to modify game options.

Quite good. I have played this game for not too long and have found it very entertaining. One thing that does it for me is that there is only 1 gamemode on solo and multiplayer, I would like a co op version as there is a giant gas cloud coming in, I

Pixel Battle Royale

Pixel Battle Royale

So before i found out about pixel battle royale i was married , had a good paying job and had also 2 children. In my free time on work i was looking for games to play that the work PC (windows XP) could run. I stepped into this “game” that popped up in front of me saying it was recommended because i used to play “rebel forces”. I got into it from the first game…ALOT ! I had some sexual innuendos here and there with the in game bots that were so attractive and sexy. My wife asked me to stop playing the game because i skipped work for the last week and i gave up on it, soon to be fired. I refused ! i told her to leave me because my life was pixel battle royale from now on. She refused … so i had to do it ! I left my home , my work , my wife and my kids and started traveling the world playing competitive pixel battle royale hoping that some day i will find the game Map in real life so i can experience the feeling for once …

this is quite possibly the worst game i’ve ever had the misfortune of playing. i played it with my friend as a joke and i was surprised to see how shit it was. the maps are way too big for the 4 or 5 players that join a server if you are lucky. i am certain that you cannot invite your friend unless you both click play at the same time. finding a gun is almost impossible, and using a gun is a different problem entirely. the guns look and sound terrible and the time to kill is way to long for an incredibly shit game such as this one. i often found myself in a situation where both me and the only other person left alive are forced to fight with the default melee weapon due to a lack of ammo on the map. this would be fun however, the axe is completely broken. if you are stood more than 1 atom away from your target, the axe will deal no damage. if, somehow, you manage to hit an opponent, im pretty sure it doesnt kill them as you have to hit them multiple times. if you have the time to finish one whole game of this, then i am sorry to say that you have no life.

Shell Out Showdown

Shell Out Showdown is a wonderfully engaging game that is also incredibly polished for still being in Early Access. Game play is smooth and enjoyable both with friends and solo against computer players. I love all the cosmetic options available in the shop and the overall art style of the game is top-notch. Highly recommend to any and all types of gamers!

Gameplay is similar to a platform “fighting” game with the rather unique spin that you and your competitors are a bunch of vending machines trying to get rid of all your concessions. It’s not the sort of mechanic I ever expected to see in a game like this but the execution ends up being a hilariously hectic good time.

The controls are tight and movement mechanics are familiar. I’m especially a fan of the dash. The pixel art is cute and fun, and the music is top-tier. And you can even customize your character with effects and paint colors and “buddies.”

Pixel Strike 3D

Pixel Strike 3D

To give some background, I was a 37 year old homeless person with a crippling addiction to heroin, when a young, rich couple decided to take me into rehab. I was flattered with the offer, never having felt the touch of a human in ages that didn’t regard me as lower than scum. I was quickly taken into a nice rehab facility with tons of welcoming faces. Fast forward 2 months and no problems where being solved with me. I got the most terrible shakes whenever i spent 6 hours without a fix. The very same couple that offered me the treatment, decided that I was in fact, a lost cause. They booted me out of rehab faster than I could blink. Everything looked bleak. When I remembered something my counselor told me in rehab, which was, “Knowledge is power.” Then it hit me. I then ventured forward 2 miles to get to my towns library. I remembered that we had a field trip from the rehab center to that same library so I carried my card on me at all times. I then proceeded to go in and look in the historical fiction section. I proceeded to check out my book, but on my way out I couldn’t help but glance over in curiosity at the kids playing on the public computers. And there it was, Pixel Strike 3D. I asked the child if i could try the game out, and to my surprise, he allowed me to proceed without batting an eye. I sat down and proceeded to get at it. I remember going at it and not 5 seconds later I achieved the most beautiful high that I have ever experienced in my life. None of the years of hard drug abuse could even stand in the same room as one round of Pixel Strike 3D. I finished the round, and I quickly had an epiphany. I ran back to my old job as a high end contractor and begged the supervisor for my job back, and she decided to give me a chance. No later than 2 months, I already had my life back on track, getting back together with my wife, seeing and taking care of my 3 children, a fully payed mortgage, and a six figure income. I owe my whole life to Pixel Strike 3D, and everything that has come of it.

Gimme, Gimme, Chicken Tendies.

Be they chrispy, or from Wendy’s.

Spend my hard-earned good boy points,

On kidsmeal ball pit burger joints!

Mommy lifts me to the car,

To find me tendies, near and far!

Enjoy my tasty tendie treats,

In comfy big-boy booster seats.

Mcdonald’s, Hardees, Popeyes, Canes,

But of my tendies, none remains.

She tries to make me take a nappy,

But sleeping doesn’t make me happy!

Tendies are the only food,

that puts me in the napping mood.

I’ll SCREAM, AND SHOUT, AND MAKE FUSS!

This is a totally fun, unique, and addictive Schmup concept!

Absolutely hooked after my first 5 matches.

The cyberpunk aesthetic and music totally nails it too.

I’m always thinking about how badly we need more quality schmups so I’m really happy to say Star99 nicely scratches that itch.

Soviet Jump Game

Soviet Jump Game

After 13 hours and 100 matches, I think this game is pretty great.

The game is extremely accessible to new players, very little learning curve, but it’s tricky enough that I think it has a high skill ceiling. Many of the ways it joins up the Mario style platformer with the battle royale trend are clever, like the wrap-around playing area and “pain wall”, or using the classic Mario coins to buy a respawn. With some minor exceptions, the game’s elements already feel well calibrated, especially match duration (maybe 6 minutes on average), which eliminate the usual battle royale problem of wasting a ton of time. Presentation is pretty good as well, so long as you are not opposed to pseudo-retro style. The soundtrack is particularly notable, I can’t get the songs out of my head now.

Soviet Jump Game is simply fun. I’ve already had many memorable multiplayer interactions in the last 3 days (edit: now a week) i’ve been playing! The artwork is charming with clear animations, and each character has a unique appeal. The system for unlocking customization options feels fun and fair, although the vouchers only get you random sets and the warehouse has just 5 items stocked for the whole day. It may be hard to get exactly what you want!
