Basketball Classics

This game is SO good, for being in early access this game is already incredible for several reasons

First and foremost I am not a “sports gamer” this is the only sports game I have ever played extenisvly and if all sports game were as good as this one I would thing EA was a good developer anyways here are the reasons

First off the pixel art in this game truly is 2nd to none, you can tell it was done very meticulously and painstakingly long and it really shows the work of the people who created it

This game is amazing!!!

Many features that I was pleasantly surprised about. All the mechanics are beautiful. Literally the version of NBA Jam I wanted as a kid.

Some of the features I was happy about were Season Mode having season-long player statistics (always love to see that), the story mode and unlockable teams, (I hope that more challenges come out as the game gets updated), and I especially loved the customization of the quarter length, courts, and even the sound fx/music settings. To add on to that, the difficulty settings were very nice as well. Loved the variety of skill levels.

It’s a very short game, but the dialogue in this game made me wish it was longer. Genuinely funny and enjoyable experience.

Just got this gem in a bundle with Tropical Hockey and i gotta say I’m surprised how fun they are! Played both for couple of hours and they were very nice.

Basketball had amazing physics and felt really smooth, the graphics were very cute and pleasing! Maybe i’d recommend to the devs to add some sort of multiplayer or maybe a leader board and some other maps or modes, but it was well worth the price.

All in all, i highly recommend this game, it’s on sale and in a bundle so it’s really a steal. I see the devs here are active and are working on them so i think they will be worth the full price once they release the final version.

I have had this game for a while now and what makes me happy is that the game is developing in a good direction. First of all, I want to emphasize two things that I liked the most:

  • The first and most commendable thing is that the physics works much better than before, the ball bounces nicely and has a good flight path.

  • The second thing is the new game mode (Survival), which I think is the best so far, mainly because it requires a combination of concentration and agility.

A great VR experience. I would recommend this. It is still in development but I still love it. The gameplay is so fun. There is multiple modes (and they are probably making more) that you can use. I was playing horse with a robot! This game does not use in-game motion (you teleport around) so people with motion sickness are ok. There is also many settings that can help you. If you have a kid, or are a kid, and you can’t put enough power into your shots, you can lower the basket, use power help (which makes your shots stronger), or make yourself a GIANT. I really love this game and can’t wait for the full release when it isn’t early access. Worth my time, worth my money.

Dead game like Freestyle 2: Street Basketball

After a certain level like F2:SB you play with all the higher level players that have all the unlock of most of them. Better abilities skills etc. It is at level 10.

After level 15, you get matched up with max level players, with no near any missed shots

Pay-to-win game, can’t win if you miss events, etc. you will be too far behind.

Too low population will match with higher levels that can always win against you.

Dead game about 100 ish players on steam population.

What a real pity. I had read the reviews before trying the game and I hesitated to try it for quite a while fearing it truly was Pay to Win. But in the end due to a serious lack of street basketball games I surrendered and played the game for about 2 weeks, every day.

Now I know all those reviews were right. The game is ok for the first 10 levels or so. It looks fine despite there’s no full support to controllers. At first, despite the messy UI and bugs the game itself is fun enough for you to start considering investing some money.

Best basketball game ever made.

This game is aggressively 90s and I love it.

The days of arcade cabinets, Reebok pumps and Nike cross trainers , Michael Jordan , Dorito’s and soda with plenty quaters to play this game.

Amazing game! I used to play this on the arcade shops & cafes since I was 10 years old.

Just a heads up, if you press Esc, go to the settings and set the 1 player control to, for example “Space”.

That way you will be able to play as only 1 player instead of 2 players. I made the mistake to have both on the same key.
