All-In-One Sports VR

All-In-One Sports VR

This VR sports game has a nice assortment of 10 sports games for the price of 1. When I first started the game, it had a nice fun game assortment of options to chose from. I’ve played each sports game with various different opinions on each one.

1.Archery: This sport is nice and relaxing just requires you to aim towards the target. Like that’s they’re other factors that could cause you to be less accurate on shots. Requires more skill to actually aim towards the target.

2.Billard: This is a fun and relaxing game. I like that there’s an indication to telling if you going to hit one of the balls or the direction of where the ball could land. All in all good, but make it so when you’re viewing your opponent’s turn you can move easier around the table.

Ok so. i have almost all of the standalone appnori games. They were always pretty good but this is probably the one you want to get now that it has a ridiculous amount more content.

Only downsides is the artstyle here is more Chibi so some events everything is super sized.

I think there’s a lot of content if you’re into only scoreboard or just beating the AI. Haven’t tried multiplayer.

In general all of the sports “work” there’s no control issues. Controls are really polished it’s just on the arcade side. So some sports like golf there are way better more realistic golf games out there.

I am an Oculus user.

Alot of fun! Really well done except for the kart game and the DLC golf game which I can’t figure as of yet how to consistently hit the ball. (UPDATE: With update for Oculus now is working better) Bowling I was just able score a 201 by lifting the ball and throwing it half way down the lane. I like the fact you can put hook on the ball. Table tennis an add on Dlc is really challenging (on all levels). Practice will make you better in alot of the games.

The scoring system which is a letter grade is kind of off for all games.(UPDATE: Is now fixed) I dont see anywhere to see your over all high scores. (UPDATE high scores do show up )

This is the game I have played the most for VR, I really recommend it. The games included within the game and my rating on them are as follows.

Bowling - 6/10, the way the game makes you hold the bowling ball is awkward, but if you get used to it i’m sure it is fine.

Homerun Derby - 8/10, my third favorite game out of the 8. It has 3 different difficulties that make the ball faster. Definitley feels rewarding when you hit homeruns.

Soccer - 7/10, in this gamemode you play as a goalie. It looks easy, but is very challenging because you can only block the soccer ball with your hands.

If you are a fan of games such as Rocket League and enjoy FPS games (you don’t specifically have to enjoy FPS games) I can recommend you giving this a try.

Before jumping into public games I recommend joining the discord of the game https://discord.com/invite/protoball you can find this link at the bottom of the main menu of the game. There is a Tutorials section that contains guides from experienced players in the game that will teach you things that the tutorial doesn’t get to yet.

Doing the tutorial is also a recommendation but you could encounter a “bug” that isn’t actually a bug.

Protoball,

Oh boy where do I begin here, I’ve been in the arena since the early days of development so I’ve gotta admit I’m a bit biased towards the concept of the game. Given that, it has a high replay-ability and it keeps me coming back to be the best player I can be in the earliest stages of what I see to be a great future competitive eSport. As a person who frequents FPS games like Valorant, CS:GO, Apex and Rocket League, I find this to be of the same repeat-ability and enjoyment to just hop in a game for both fun and competitive play styles. Sure there may be some bugs here and there, but that’s what being a part of the Early Access is for. We’ve gotta smooth out the experience for others to enjoy the underlying game we all love and know can be successful. At this point, I as well as many others are committed to bringing you the best enjoyment out of this game as humanly possible. So join a server and come along for the ride. As for the Dev team, you know I love you guys and I’ll never stop coming back to Protoball, we’re in it for the long haul!
