Impressive game, I enjoy it a lot. Felt a rush in my heart while I was playing it, Remind me a lot of Castlevania:SOTN. By far a true gem, I will hope for the sequel to buy it ASAP.

Warning: If you’re photosensitive, stay away. There are a number of flashing cutscenes and transition effects that cannot be turned off or disabled. At the end is a series of flashes that are painful to watch even without being photosensitive.
Another very solid Metroidvania-lite from Team Ladybug, who made the wonderful Touhou Luna Nights a few years ago. Like their previous game, this is a “lite” form of the genre, where you have the game broken up into stages (while still being interconnected) and it is much more linear than some of the other examples of the genre. Each stage after the first contains one major progression ability, two bosses, and a scattering of other upgrades, spells, and weapons lying around.

A good debut for a solo game developer. Lovely graphics and succesful storytelling, average but acceptable gameplay features for a interactive novel kind game. With in game info about era and fine atmosphere, I especially recommend to people who interested in Bolshevik Revolution, 1930’s collectivization process, CCCP or enjoyed novels such as “And Quiet Flows the Don " or Gladkov’s “Cement”.

I enjoyed playing through this game twice, I’d say that if you’re interested, you should pick it up.
It’s a story-based game inspired by the book of the same name by Harlan Ellison (who voices the character of AM in game).

Good, but this game was developed in the ’90s, so you can imagine that the graphics will reflect that era. The graphics are not bad at all. I’d say that they still hold up somewhat and the graphics don’t take away from the game.

Make no mistake about I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream….it is NOT a horror game, at least not in the typical sense. It’s not trying to make you jump in your seat and scream in shocked terror. It has no interest in what many would call “cheap thrills”. Instead, what this game wants to do is provoke your thought-process. It is a very cerebral game, with dark undertones that force you to think about the dark side of humanity, and whether or not there is redemption for our fatal flaws. It isn’t afraid to present you with disturbing topics such as suicide, rape, even genocide, and make you deal with them. Although there is a tint of light-heartedness, 99% percent of the game is drenched in an atmosphere of hopelessness as you scramble to make amends for the characters' pasts in an attempt to thwart the diabolical supercomputer, AM.

Nordlicht is a project from a small team in Germany, and the result of their final thesis. The game, however, is a full commitment, adventure, portraying incredible hand-made art, with an emotional story.
Players take the role of Aurora and her father Rupert, on an emotional journey across nostalgia under the Nordic bright sky. Aurora packs everything she needs to see her mother, while her father prepares the boat for the journey ahead. Together, they sail over large waves and thunderstorms, but nothing can stop them from reaching their goal.

Short and sweet point&click adventure with a heartwarming ending. You can finish the story in about 2 hours, assuming you don’t get stuck on a few tricky puzzles. There are 3 different locations to explore, a couple of nice cutscenes, and one timing mini-game. The artwork is really good considering the price, the stylized aesthetic gives it a unique look, not to mention its enjoyable soundtrack. I should note that the narrative is kid-friendly, you not going to find any hidden jokes in this one, even though the story has a sad undertone. The puzzles were reasonable for the most part, just keep in mind that you can occasionally solve the riddle by interacting with another character. As expected with a cheaper game, it’s not as responsive as it could be, but it still has a decent interface that allows you to highlight items using ‘tab’ or magnifying glass in the corner. However, you could potentially run into saving issues; I did not lose any progress, but the game required some fiddling with input to remove the black screen upon loading (only one save slot).

This is one of the most tedious, poorly crafted, boring, pointless games I’ve ever played.
The art is phenomenal. The developers' interactions with folks on the internet is disappointing. It’s buggy and slow and repetitive.
There are no puzzles, there’s barely a story, there is no skill involved, it’s poorly translated, it’s a little sexist, and the characters' motivations are all over the map. There’s literally a segment in this game where you need to cross a river, so you hold the joystick to the left for over a minute while he slowly turns a crank. This happens multiple times. The most engaging moment of the whole thing is a long and laborious multi-part fetch quest.

Highly Likely is a short and light-hearted point-and-click game that is set in a rural Ukraine and follows a man named Mikola as he tries to get himself out of an enormous debt that he owes to the bank. He finds himself a new business opportunity, one that is risky and could land him in trouble with the law, but he knows that he’s got no other choice. This is the basic story premise that is very relatable and could happen to just about anyone.

Orwell’s Animal Farm
This game explains nothing about its gameplay (after multiple playthroughs I’m still unsure of what the Animalism stat does) and appears to be a buggy mess of RNG. Dead animals can still comment on events occurring (Napoleon and Boxer appear to be the biggest culprits) or show up at the gravesite despite being dead (such as the Cabal of Pigs ending where Snowball and Napoleon have died, but Napoleon is at the grave). You can run into problems where you have plenty of supplies and want to repair the buildings but you can’t until the option presents itself, or similarly where you had the opportunity to harvest with multiple animals to fill the supplies to their maximum but suddenly only one animal can be chosen and you have far less than usual. Sometimes it skips letting you plant for next year which makes supplies much worse and no longer lets you plant on subsequent years, even if you have the supplies to do so.

George Orwell’s dystopian and satirist literary work undoubtedly influenced, and still influences, a lot of other creative people, who are inspired by his themes, and use them for their own work. However, having a full videogame adaptation of his work is something else, and now we finally got it with Orwell’s Animal Farm, which adapts the original allegorical novella. This text-based game tries to capture and expand the book’s themes and experience a bit by adding several story choices. There is not much more to this game, as you could say it is similar to a visual novel. Is it a good addition, though? Well, let us dive into the review to find it out!

Glisten to your heart is a gentle, relaxing game with some great advice. It has a great sense of humor (especially if you like breaking the fourth wall!) Altogether, it took me 4.5 hours to complete. This game is worth far more than its current price tag. Hoping to see more from this dev!
