Good for the price, but sadly not as unfairly hard as it’s inspiration.

Super Mega Baseball 2

Super Mega Baseball 2

Unfortunately I had to change this to negative. Negative means I do NOT recommend this game. I’m not saying it’s bad. Here’s why:

The devs fell into the trap of “Fixing what’s not broken”. They nerfed pitching SO much that batting is a slugfest. You can literally pitch halfway into the other batterbox and have the reticle LITERALLY in the dirt, and power teams such as overdogs and sirloins will smashit. There is NOTHING you can do to stop it if the batter doesn’t mess up.

It’s such a sinking and resigning feeling when you KNOW 100% without a sliver of doubt that you can not stop a comeback or an onslaught. They have runners on base and thus are swinging at everything. If you approach the strike zone within like 2 ball lengths, it is smashed.

I’ve been playing baseball games for 30 years, starting with a game called Color Baseball on my dad’s Coco 2 computer. Then, on top of my head, I played Baseball (Nintendo/Gameboy), the Bases Loaded series, RBI Baseball series, Little League Baseball, Baseball Stars, Hardball 3 and 4, World Series Baseball series, Super Baseball Simulator 1.000, Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball, Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (and winning run), The Triple Play/EA MLB series, High Heat Baseball series, MLB 2K series, MLB the show series, and Super Mega Baseball 1. I’ve also probably played countless others that I can’t recall right now.

MLB Home Run Derby VR

I’ve been waiting for a fun baseball game and this is satisfying. It is what it says.. a Homerun derby.

There are 3 stadiums so far. Play in Miami, Washington or Cleveland.

All are very realistic and the the graphics are gorgeous. If you are competitive you will play this game a lot to try to move up on the leaderboard. You will see my name at the top of the list as I had one great outing and scored 8000+ points in one game. You can see how much time I put into this though lol

Will like to see more ballparks added and a feature to change the speed of the pitches. This has potential and I recommend it if you enjoy baseball VR games.

Game is well made, visuals are good, no glitches as of yet quite possibly the best batting practice VR game in the market but lacks content, why don’t we have as of yet a full fledged 9 inning baseball game? I’m sure it will sell like hot cakes so what’s the delay? I recommend the game only on it’s visuals it’s immersive but do we really need another batting practice VR game?

The first baseball video game was released in 1976, it’s 2018 and all you can come up with for VR is another stand in place and swing at the ball game? What gives? Make a full 9 inning game already! :::smh:::

TOTALLY BASEBALL

TOTALLY BASEBALL

This is by far the best baseball game for VR, the fact that you can field, pitch & bat makes this game light years ahead of other VR baseball games. However…

There are a definitely some major bugs that need to be fixed, like immersion breaking, if not game breaking, bugs.

1. If you manage to get the AI to swing at a ball, it still counts as a ball. Have had multiple times where this occurred & made the AI swing at balls but never counts as a strike.

2. If you hit a home run with the “Manually run the bases” option, none of the runs will count if you go outside the running lines. Had a game winning grand slam count as an out because i was half-hazardly running the bases and ran outside the line.

I absolutely love this game, I am a big fan of baseball and this game manages to do what all the other baseball VR games cannot. You get to do more than just be a batter. You field, pitch bad, be base runners. I love the cartoon style they went with it. If you don’t have enough room to throw the ball or you just suck at it, it’s fine because there is a cannon option where you just aim where you want the ball to go and press a button. I am very excited for more updates that will more than likely tackle any issues I have with the game, the computer isn’t exactly difficult to beat, especially when you get the hang of the game. When you are in control of the character you can run very fast, but the AI controlled characters seems to slightly jog to where they want to go. There are other small things as well but not worth mentioning. They have already fixed somethings about the game my biggest thankful one is sometimes you throw the ball to hard when trying to make a play and throw it out of the park and the computers would just run the bases and there was nothing you could do, now they get 1 free base and the ball is returned to the pitcher. They plan on doing multiplayer and that will be very fun to have. It’s a cheap, fun, baseball VR game.

You get what you paid for, 5K achievements at minimum price. If you’re an achievement hunter looking to increase the number of achievements on your profile showcase, then I highly recommend buying this. Else don’t waste your money. This is not a game, it’s just a way of distributing achievements.

It’s a spam game, in which the main point is that you pay to boost your achievement count by 5,000. Steam is working to remove these games. Good riddance.

Fly Away Baseball

Fly Away Baseball

can’t really recommend. I understand this is a classic baseball game but no sound or anything. Like come on its good gameplay. Good animations and good hitting pshycis. but no sound. Barely anything to play and plus its the same staduim. There is no night or day at all. I would like to see sound in the game and some features of season mode and things but based on this game. it is not worth it not even a penny.

Digital Diamond Baseball V9

Digital Diamond Baseball V9

Digital Diamond Baseball is a great option for everyone but it stands alone for mac users with limited options. The developer is very responsive and willing to help out as well. He is constantly working to improve the elements of the game and I look forward to many hours of enjoyment. It has become my #1 baseball sim.

IMO- this game has flown UNDER the radar and deserves some accolades for its many strengths!

DDB V-9 is an outstanding value providing an open game engine that produces accurate season, team and player results.

As-played lineups w/ player transactions and schedules are available if you’re a stock replay person. Every season from the present back to 1959 have been created, and installing a season is a matter of just clicking on it. There are many other additional seasons as well. The stats package is quite good and the AI is VERY good!

Another awesome game by 10tons Ltd!

I had lots of fun with “Tennis In The Face” and so, I decided to try out this one too and it did not disappoint! It’s slightly more challenging to get 100% Achivements compared to “Tennis In The Face” but you will have a great time doing so!

This is a cute, decently fun physics puzzler. I don’t know if there’s a central joke. Just… hitting people with baseballs? Is that supposed to be funny or something? Well, it’s a little cathartic, at least. Get it on sale.

Bottom of the 9th

Bottom of the 9th

Hi there:

This is a fun game quick and simple.

It’s the bottom of the 9th and you need 1 point to win the game.

Some of you may find this useful.

When a S (Strike) is rolled the batting player need to roll bigger then that to hit.

If same number is rolled will result to a foul.

When a B (Ball) is rolled the batting player need to roll the same number or lower to get a ball.

When a C (Crush) is rolled the batting player must roll the same number to hit.

Whenever you hit the ball with a 6 you Crush It!

This is my first ever review.

My advice would be to buy a physical copy of this board game.

The digital game itself is fantastic, and great fun.

My major issue that has caused me to write this review, and advise you to save the £0.79 pence this game costs, is that there is a finite amount of dice role animations and therefore it feels like rolling the dice is out of your control.

The developers really need to make the dice rolling mechanic truly random. When you have played enough games you will notice that, immediately, when the dice begins its role animation you will be able to call the face it will land on before it has finished its role. This can cause you to feel very frustrated and give you a feeling of the game being against you.
