Unless I am missing something there is no way to start the game. Possibly a bad mobile port? You get to what appears to be the main launch page and there is no ‘new game’ no ‘start’ button just the image of a planet and the name of the game V1.0. I have submitted the only screenshot. Unless this is fixed I obviously can’t recommend this game.

This game has potential. It would work well in a school environment. A Multiplayer option would be ideal to keep younger students engaged. A “feature” of the game is there is no losing state, even when out of resources and physically unable to do anything. This fits the current philosophy of teaching, where no student can be wrong or upset.

Eternal Warfare
I have been dabbling in this game for a few years now and I have watched it develop and improve with the developer happy to listen and take on boards ideas and suggestions. Whilst it easy to describe it as a turn based Command and Conquer it is more than that and what is important about it is that it is simply great fun. Different game modes cater for your mood- you can battle through the various campaigns (which vary in challenge from winning through sheer force to more subtle and stealth scenarios), fight off waves of enemies in the invasion mode or conquer the world in huge skirmishes against an impressive AI which cannot be bargained with and which has had me on the ropes more than once when I let my guard down. The graphics are fun, the selection of units is interesting and all for a bargain price. What more do you want?

KnightOut
Best early access game to invite others over to play after COVID 19 pandemic!
I haven’t been able to find a game online; however, Discord server is active and devs can help find players to play via steam. You can also PM if you’d like to play.
If you have kids and know what you are doing, you can go 2 v 1… 3 v 1 is a bit tricky. Devs are active on their discord and have stated to change respawn times later.
Bugs at the moment are not that bad, but yes, it’s early access.
In any case, it’s great for a KnightOut with friends or your kids locally. Just wear masks, wash your hands and game controllers.

The game has friendly fire in co-op. Which makes the experience a joke. The coins disappear extremely fast and seem to determine how many stars you get. There’s also gated progression which requires a set number of stars per map to progress. Not a very casuals experience for some local co-op.
There’s also the problem when the game zooms out the entire screen is one big BLUR.

Might & Magic: Heroes VI
I strongly recommend you play this game if you love turn based strategy games, RPG games, or are a sucker for a good story. Easily one of the best strategy games I have ever played (and I have played a hell of a lot!) - don’t be scared of UPlay and Conflux (more on this later).
The game is at its core a Turn Based Strategy game, but also has strong RPG elements - levelling up, skill points, hero inventory, reputation points, faction variations etc.
I would strongly suggest watching some YouTube videos to see how the game plays out.

Edit 12/30/13:

Do NOT buy this game - even if it is cheap!
Why?
The game is still full of bugs even after 2 years and UBISOFT stopped supporting the game.
No new patch, no apology, NOTHING. They just got your money, why should they care?
The game itself could have been great but with all the fuss I had to endure I won’t recommend this piece of garbage to anyone. Trust me, you’re better off with buying games which actually deserve your support.

PixelJunk™ Nom Nom Galaxy
So, first of all, i enjoyed this game so much that i repurchased it on PC (ive put months into the PS4 version), so the 140ish hours that are displayed are a mere fraction of a fraction of what ive actually put into this game. That said. . . .
Game was put together well, survival mode is awesome, and i enjoy setting factories, complete with gardens of all kinds of stuff, that i automate the ever living h*** out of.
Other fun things to do include but are not limited to:
Fistycuffs
Hoarding
Defense

I tried to make my friends play this many times and they looked at the game with that meh… expression. They mostly never tried it but all thoses who did liked it.
The game Launch like a terraria map where you gotta start every time from scratch* with a factory and explore to find ingredients. Once you’re set up, you have to defend your soup factory versus, kinda pirate, I dont know the name but they basicaly try to eat or blow up your base.
It mostly base building, base defence, exploration and trying to mix up new combination of ingredients. where the game, get more complex as you unlock more options, ex. vehicles or new robots.

Windmill Kings
It’s great concept unfortunatly there are a couple flaws that make this game a no for me. The positive are: great graphics, nice music, funny story. Requirements are low and the game runs well 1v1 on the same keyboard and single player on the touchscreen also works (tested on surface pro)
Now the bad: First is the duration. Campaign on normal takes less than an hour. I had a lot of fun working my way up in the campaign but after that you can only play replay the same thing or the Dark world which is brutally hard compare to the normal difficulty. There no replayability unless you do multiplayer. Playing against the computer becomes easy as soon as you realize that the AI is in fact the same pattern of enemy coming your way. I would say you should wait for a sale 1/2 price it will give you a couple hours of gameplay perfect for a short flight.

Another great game by Bigosaur - with their typical art style and sound style. Great cartoon-like graphics with challenging gameplay. This is a 2D strategy game with kings, medieval knights, giants, archers, healers etc. Story mode is cool, as is the skirmish mode that has different scales of battle. PvP is also available. Definitely recommended!

Startopia
Be warned that this game is old and the interface feels all 20 years of its age.
However, if you can stomach old games, this is one of the true classics from its era. A space station management/tycoon game with a lot of heart and humor. Numerous ways to build your station, several ways to challenge yourself or just relax and mess around.
I’ve played this off and on for two decades and still own the original disc so my hours on Steam only reflect buying it again here for convenience.

Of interest to fans: The original development company obviously went out of business, the game transferred ownership for a number of years to Square-Enix who did nothing with it and then released the game back to the care of one of the original developers.

To date, I have purchased just over 15 games on Steam. Some of them have been complete wastenados of my money - one in particular I shelled out a lot for and only got a couple of hours of semi-enjoyment out of it. Startopia is the exact opposite of that game - I paid very little for it and, so far, I’ve gotten more hours of fun out of it than any other game I’ve purchased on here.
You’re managing a space station which is being visited by nine different alien types, each with their own preferences and skills. You have to build facilities to ensure these aliens are healthy, well-rested, well-fed, entertained and other things like that, make sure any aliens who cause trouble get rehabilitated, keep the station clean, and make sure you have enough energy to keep it all running. You’re aided by this artificially intelligent being called VAL who often peppers his advice with a degree of snark and you get occasional visits from a trader named Arona who I swear is a cross between a Vogon and Moneybags from Spyro 2.
