I played many RTS games, and this is another RTS game i recommend. I’ll keep in touch on every update.

The developer did very well on the bug fix and I love when they listen an idea from players.

Its a nice little RTS game that was made for kids but is easily playable by all ages. I had the most fun with this game after I got nice and drunk one night. Its so easy to win you can play this game while heavily intoxicated and drunk and still win! Just build like 3 powerful buildings on the first forest map and you won the game lol. Single player is all you need to 100% complete the game from what I can tell so that’s a HUGE plus since the multiplayer is non existent. For me this is just going to be a game I casually get a few wins a day on until I hit 100% completion. No rush. In fact I might go ahead and put this game on hold for a while until I 100% complete some of my AAA games ive been meaning to complete since last year lol.

not worth $5

Plain is how i would describe this game.

you create buildings, thats all you do. as soon as you reach the building cap there’s nothing else to do. there are no skill trees, no real “strategy”, you only have two skills that you barely use.

pros

  • love the weather cycle

  • great attention to small details

  • better than average graphics

  • great foundation to build on with improvements

  • bandits/native american interaction is a nice aspect

cons

-terrible economic system at all levels (easy medium hard)

at hard you pretty much can only build one way or you will fail

at medium you can waiver a little but not much

at easy not much different from medium

if you want to build only a logging town and never advance your populations status then you have no worries

Bottom Line Up Front: This game will be amazing when it’s finished.

Pros:

  1. It’s a very cool concept of starting a town in the wild west.

  2. The Devs. have come up with a great backbone for the buildings and resources you will need to be successful.

  3. Replay-ability once complete will be a GINORMOUS 10/10.

  4. It’s not an easy game to master in the beginning. You really need to think a few steps ahead before building anything. This makes it so much more fun when you are successful in your choices.

Badiya: Desert Survival

Badiya: Desert Survival

Only for the EA fans, I will say that.

I personally love these kind of games and have quite a few, but this setting… I just had to have it.

Something absolutely different than other games in the same genre. Those who have played Minecraft (or similar games) know that usually the hardest “world” to survive is the desert. This is all set in the desert, so I think has huge potential of being different and challenging! Also, although at the moment not implemented just yet, there’s going to be sea (and sailing on it), pearl diving, and if I can believe one of the trailers I’d say “Stranded Deep-esque” beaches.

I reveived a key for free, keep that in mind when reading my review.

This review is for alpha 1.9, I will update as the game progresses. I am giving a thumbs up with the following caveats.

1. The game engine is still unstable, though not terribly so. It seems every NPC encountered increases the chance of crashing so make sure to save before visiting any point of interest (area with npc’s). When the game gets laggy save, quit to the main menu and reload.

2. Unfortunately, related to above, the mechanic to save requires building a lean-to. This is not horrible, you can carry the wood around with you, but I hope the devs read this and implement a temporary quick save function until the engine is more stable.

Animallica

Animallica

I’ve edited my old review. This is a more up-to-date review.

In the first moments of my gameplay, I thought this game was no more than just another common survival game with bugs and it felt like it could be a little boring. I was totally wrong, though! This game has much more to give than I thought at first. Not 1, not 3 hours are enough to find out all what this game has to offer After finding out by myself how interesting this game can be, I got addicted to it. If you enjoy other games under the survival crafting genre, Animallica is a mix of other survival games, with the animal rescuing feature and theme that makes it even more interesting for who loves games centered in saving animals.

Animallica is one of, if not my favorite game of all time.

It’s a survival game with crafting elements based in a post-apocalyptic world. You start off by exploring the different biomes and gathering items that you find to make things necessary for your survival. Although there are many games that are like this, Animallica is really unique and fresh in my opinion.

I love the concept of finding and taming animals. There are everyday animals like dogs, chickens, cows, sheep, etc., as well as rare animals such as Giant Pandas, Tigers, and everything in between. Once tamed you can put the animals back in their original biomes or create an enclosure for them in your base. You can also have animals follow you, name them, and even help you in combat! If I’m being really honest I was sold once I saw that there were dogs in this game lol. They are constantly introducing animals with every update as well.
