Infinitode 2 - Infinite Tower Defense
My first TD was Vector Tower Defense, my second was Vector TD 2…and my third was Vector TDX. I hated all three, but I sucked at them. I liked the gameplay, I liked the idea…but I just couldn’t wrap my head around the strategy and wondered how one ever got to the higher levels– or even completed some of the maps. I loved hating those games, played the crap out of them on Candystand (RiP).
From there, I played every TD I found, even the crappy ones, just to see if they got any better. Over time, I didn’t have to play crappy ones, as good ones were being created all over…but nothing quite like Vector TD. :/

This was a close call if I push the yes or no button with the recommendation button.
This game has a plus side, which is the gameplay itself. It’s classic tower defense, no bells and whistles.
No unnecessary graphic 1upmanship, but instead back to the basics, i.e. simple outline shapes that make the towers you placed instantly recognizable.
You’ve got 16 different towers that do different things in various degrees of effectiveness, so quite the variability in terms of towers.
And that’s the positives. So now for the negatives, namely progression and R&D.

Dust to the End
I’ve been playing this game since back in Early Access and I have to say it’s come a long way from where it started out. At first it was just a barren map where you could easily go “point A” to “point B” with a storyline that was alright but with a shoddy translation that would break immersion. Certain aspects for reputation didn’t have any point other than to just “be there” and weapons weren’t very different from another. Base Building and Raiding was just “push through and win” while trying to get as much loot as possible. And Keeping track of all your stuff and what industries were where was a mess.

Dust to the End is a squad-based, turn-based combat, semi-openworld trading game in a post-apocalyptic setting.
-manage up to 9 units and vehicles(with upkeep)
-multiple maps(or zones) unlocked by story progression(fixed main story)
-real-time travel movement on a free-roaming map, enemies are visible and can be avoided if you’re fast
-turn-based combat, some random encounters
-factions, town relations
-autosaves, multiple manual save slots
-sandworms, but no spice items.
Finally I played a good game after the longest of time. Was somehow shocked by how good it was. These Chinese developers have done an amazing job adapting the timeless classic Caravaneer 2 from Dmitry Zheltobriukhov into a far better looking and ‘noob friendly’ trading game with more depth(combat can get quite brutal), and they actually listened to player feedback unlike a lot of other stuck up indie developers out there.

Heroes Of Maidan 2

Nocked! True Tales of Robin Hood
The game Nocked! has you taking on the role of Robin Hood set in a world where myth and magic still has a foothold. You start out as a runaway who takes to Sherwood forest to claim their future.
The game itself contains elements of interactive fiction (think choose your own adventure) as well as resource management. In fact, this was the stand out portion for me.
The first thing you will notice is that you can choose the gender of your Robin, and even some limited background choices which will have some game affects. Additionally, the character of Maid Marian even has some variation which can affect play.

A really nice CYOA game. It actually reminded me of Mass Effect 2, in that you have a base and companions, and your choices have long-term impact (otherwise it’s entirely dissimilar to ME2; see any screenshot).
There are healthy doses of whimsy in the setting and humour in the writing, and it mixes classic Robin Hood story beats in with more fantastical stuff. It’s comfy and tense, and perfectly paced. The music is also wonderful.
My only gripes are minor (despite this being the biggest paragraph): some of the art is quite bad (the character silhouettes work well, but some of the other stuff looks like programmer art) and the overall graphic design could use work. This is all just window dressing though and doesn’t really matter*. A bigger annoyance is that the checkpoints are a bit far apart for more my liking–I appreciate it discouraging save scumming, but there were a couple of times when I misunderstood an option so badly that I felt unfairly shafted by choosing it, in which case I rolled back and lost lots of progress. The last thing that left a bad taste was the ending: it felt like I had no way of knowing the implications of some of the choices.

Does not give you a lot of information at the start, but after a bit of fumbling, you will enjoy a good “Tower Defense style” (their words) game.
The enemies come at you from all angles, but if you have a “good” starting map (it’s very easy to restart the game) you are off and running. You will soon work out that once the pot of gold is moved, the enemies will typically exit to the top of the map and you can lay your defences accordingly. The only tricky bit are enemies who then attack from the top of the map.

Blood of Titans
So i see most reviews are from people with 2 hours so i will be the first actual player to write a real review, let me start by saying the game is free, you can choose to play for absolutely nothing, now that being said, just like any other game released on steam, you can pay for more, are there expensive single cards in the shop? yes. do you need to buy them? no. should you buy them? no.
This is a strategy game, if you aren’t good at strategy you will lose a lot, the strategy lacks a lot of depth but it is there, and you can really notice the difference once you figure out a play style and learn to counter different things. it is the general nature of a card game to know that one specific card will not beat another, if you cannot learn this you will not find success in this game.

Hmm were to start ?
First at all it not really PTW it has elements like the most games in steam , you can reach even all cards ( right now common , uncomman , rare , epic , legandary ) in only playing the story line , with all i mean even the legendary and you have to pay nothing for … its right that there are cards with 15 $ or 30 $ , but do you have to buy them - no … so before act like a cry baby ( as a read the most negativ reviews with not really a background ) , try to get some knowledge over the game , before speak up again , to pay for a game and think you would be NO.1 will never work without knowledge , … so in all - its a nice game not perfect , its new , the art style is awsome you can collect card pieces (copie from your card) to make your card stronger and the animation changes too , there permanent new events - the are allways free , give it a try ; )

Altwaldheim: Town in Turmoil
Simple game. Yet rng, 5 factions, random events, riddles make it complex with deep strategy element.
I love city builders and making units in general. Game is very challenging I’ve played 17.5 hours a few days into purchasing and even though made it to final boss twice i still have not beat the game yet. Addictive game play and replay value is high.
Key to starting is focus on 1. gold 2. food 3. wood. i do not make any units until i’m attacked at the start. when i am attacked I focus on making a few units ie 20 archers maybe 10 thugs 10 militia then attack the small camps ie peasant militia and archer camps. make iron and stone mine and the remaining buidings. pick one faction to focus on and maybe have a subfaction as 2nd ary. for me i choose military and later capitalists. but there are relion freethinkers and nature ie guardians.

Ok folks,
I’ve been playing games from a very young age. This game will work for you if you like a chill relaxed management game that will challenge you.
Graphics are minimalist but it doesn’t matter.
I recommend the game because the developers did a really really good job in pulling this together in a way that it will keep you entertained while really focusing on you management and decision skills.
Well done, it’s a buy.
