Last Gang Standing

Last Gang Standing

Last Gang Standing is an open ended team based shooter about building a massive base and demolishing all the other gangs that seek to do the same, before they get you first!

Gang up

Create a fully customizable gang with colors, shoulder patches and even a flag. Recruit all your friends and mercenaries and get ready for some gang wars 2078 style!

Build up

Set down roots and create a heavily fortified base out of dozens of structure types. Build walls, doors, foxholes, defensive turrets, gun factories, teleporters, radar towers, resource refiners, power generators, drone cores & many more.

Design the impenetrable fortress of your dreams!

Tear down

You have a gang and a base, that means you now have something worth stealing!

Other gangs will be coming to take what’s yours…unless you strike first!

Choose from a deep array of weapons, equipment and armor to build your perfect raiding strategy to take on the other gangs. Leap over their walls with jump pads, drop teleport anchors inside their base to overwhelm them with numbers, drop a micro nuke and force them to come out and fight you to defuse it, sneakily cut through their walls with blowtorches or just use the tried-and-true method of blasting a giant hole through their base with missiles and C4 charges. Your strategy is only limited by your imagination!

Enjoyable.

Pros:

  • It’s fun to find effective strategies.

  • The “no escape” mode is very challenging and fun.

Cons:

  • Your trap choices can make some playthroughs on higher difficulty impossible.

  • Difficulty levels are hidden in main menu.

The game is pretty great as a tower defense + strategy game. The drawings are perfect and looks pretty great for your eyes, you can’t wait that much from a platformer. However sinners can scream and that would make you feel like you’re a real Evil LMAO. However, traps are pretty enough to kill all the sinners. I had one problem with achievements. I tried many things to solve it but I didn’t had achievements while I was completing them. Contacted developer about that and he said yeah there can be a bug about achievements which will be solved %100.

Disclaimer: I recommend you to buy this game, but as of launch month, do your research before you commit. It may or may not be up to your standards.

Pros:

  • Classic RTS formula. We seriously need more of this out there.

  • Key hero unit, and creeping/leveling mechanics add to the usual “by the numbers + rock papper scissors” game.

  • Very good basic mechanics. The UI and controls do everything they need to, and everything in the game is crisp and responsive.

  • Cool setting, and awesome unit designs derived from the setting.

I wanted to like this game. I REALLY wanted to like this game. I played in some of the earlier Alpha tests and I saw it had some great potential once they fix some of the rough edges. The only rough edge they seemed to have fixed is that now there is a matchmaking system. The rest of it still feels like an alpha build and they’re charging $30 for it.

PROS:

  • Decent graphics

  • Unique ideas

CONS:

  • Average 6:00 queue time and it’s still new.

  • THERE IS NO CHAT. None. Anywhere. Pass the long queue times by chatting with other players? Not in this game, buddy. Want to ask how your opponent does their build? Too bad, maybe you can find them in Discord. Want to “GG” and not rage-quit? RAGE QUIT ONLY IN THIS GAME.

First off, don’t listen to the people with the aiming issues, they simply don’t know how to play the game and lick heavily in gaming skills.

Great little game and if you watch the trailer you know what to expect. Price is right.

Blood gore from battles is great.

Menu music is dominating.

Sound of goats alone makes the game that much better.

Take it from someone who has actually played the game for longer than it takes to get a refund…Recommended.

Don’t forget to check my guide, it will increase the hours.

Missions were pretty easy, but fun, and when turning on hard mode it became more challenging. Nice defense game, and all units have their uses and are unique, and that goes for both the enemy and yourself. Strategy comes from where you put your fire superiority, as well as your defenses. Shooting is RNG ridden, meaning your men or the enemy will miss sometimes, which makes for interesting gameplay.

Survival mode gave a pretty good challenge, and I’ve only beaten round 25 so far. Because of RNG, you can get screwed in the later levels of the survival mode when they concentrate all their vehicles on one side of your base. Regardless, it’s a fun mode to play with a video in the background. Similar to the missions, strategy comes from unit placement and where a majority of your units are facing, but as the levels progresses, it gets hard to concentrate your fire power, so you have to think of other ways of overcoming this.

MarZ: Tactical Base Defense

MarZ: Tactical Base Defense

As first impressions go, MarZ: Tactical Base Defense starts off strong.

The starting menu is simple, clean, and the options are mostly straightforward. Personally I wish there was a hover tool to give a basic explanation of what each option does and how it affects the game, but, again, that is a personal preference I like to see.

The starting campaign cinematic gives the rundown on what is happening and your goals. As of writing this review I have completed about half the campaign and the more I play the less it makes sense. It does have zombies in space so I may have to lower my expectations since there may be not much effort put into making a cohesive story. Or maybe it will culminate some kind of explanation towards the end, and will likely revise part of the review then if that is the case.

Free Demo Download isn’t a complete sample and not completely representative of the game. After purchasing and starting the 4th mission, tactics, swarms, and weapon upgrades were far more difficult. Attempted to return the game, but the time played in the free demo counted against the 2 hour time limit. I don’t think free play demo time should of counted as play time after purchase. If the demo was more representative of the full game, I’d almost understand. The 2 hours is after purchase, but the timer started before I bought it. I do realize that game play should increase with level and mission advancement, but the level of increase and how much everything changed was drastic and I had the impression I was duped into buying it.

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD

I am i fan of the orignal Yet Another Zombie Defense game and when i heard about this HD remake or in a full sense “Unity” remake of the game i could say i was hyped for it i spent 27 hours on the last game and i was ready to sink in more of my life into the game with my bestfrind so me and them save up to get the game. once purchased i was outstanded by the more in detail put into the zombies and the rounds how they put in new points to make old fans have fun again andf to hook the new ones into what game they had and also it was 99 cents to all users who own the orignal and that is a huge plus.

I have a little over 100 games and I rarely thumbs down games (this is only the second time), because developing a game takes hard work, no matter how bad I feel said game is.

However, I feel the need to thumb down this game:

  • Feels sluggish/laggy from the get-go, but it gets worse as you get deeper into it;

  • Crashes/kicks you randomly to menu, which is especially frustrating without any form of saved game;

  • Terrible design decision (non-hosts can now buy stuff using their share of pooled money);

DISCLAIMER: This review is intended primarily for the developer since the game is still in such an early development phase. All my commentary aims to be constructive, and if you would like me to expand more on any given point, feel free to reach out!

DEAD is game with a heartbeat. Developer Matthew Ionsdale is committed to creating an open-world game where you must craft and build to survive a race of mutated dead beasts that hunt down to eat flesh. It is important to note that DEAD is still in Alpha, and it is commendable how dedicated the developer is to his passion project. There is a dedicated Discord channel for bugs and technical glitches, to which he is increasingly responsive, and since its original release date on August 19 of 2019, there have been a total of eight patch fixes.

SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest

SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest

8 out of 10 for a RPG-RTS game

6 out of 10 for a SpellForce game

You can get it for 15-25 €/$? Get it at the spot! The content-price value is perfect for what you get. 20h+ campaign with good mechanics. Sadly after the campaign there is currently only MP-PVP. What makes the game very limited for PVE players in the end-game.

The story is acceptable for a stand-alone game but a huge disaster as a series entry because of a story on fan fiction level. The ending is one of the worst thing that I have ever experienced. Really shame since the rest of the campaign was quite enjoyable. Declare this a spin-off or alternative timeline and you won’t have issues with the story errors if you have played the other titles of the series.

I must say, for me, Spellforce 3 Soul Harvest is so far the greatest game of the year.

‘Wait what? What is so good in this game?’ - You might ask.

Well, my answer depends on whether you have played the original title or not.

IF YOU ARE A NEW PLAYER

In short, Spellforce 3 Soul Harvest is a story-rich roleplaying game with strategic elements. (Well, technically a standalone game expansion of SF3, but a complete solo game nevertheless). It mixes RPG and RTS in an unique and enjoyable way no other game does. (Truly, there is no other such games I know)

Zombie Builder Defense

Zombie Builder Defense

I like the gameplay aspects of it like the ability to upgrade blocks and build as you see fit. The selection for weapons is good, the skill tree is also good but i feel like it is too easy too level up. i would like to see either slower xp gain or more skills in the skill tree. I like the boss battles but the level 40 boss is really difficult and i feel like we should get more time to prepare like adding more waves and having that boss come later in the game. i would like to see more bosses added too. Survival is cool but the zombie spawning doesnt work so you kind of just run around like an idiot and have nothing to kill. the game is really good but a lot of aspects need improvement.

Fun little game that cost you less than a can of Spam. Ideally better with friends but it can still entertain you if you’re at work pretending to be busy.

Pros:

Can be bought with money from selling steam badges

Nice sound effects and smooth animations

Has an endless mode

Telent tree that saves exp and upgrades to your profile

Cons:

I have no idea what this has to do with Bitcoin

Zombie AI seems to only be able to brute force its way to kill you, thus zombies are easily routed

Single player boss fights can be much more difficult than multiplayer
