Car Mechanic Simulator 2014
Really cool-looking game about fixing broking cars in your garage. But… will you like it? Would I recommend it for you to buy? That’s depends of what are you expecting from this game, in the first hand.
Let me tell you how it works, right from the start: you’ll find yourself locked inside the garage, with some broken car and notation of what you should do with it. You can disassemble the most of the car’s engine, suspension and exhausts. You can fix some of those disassembled parts on the workbench, or buy new ones in the PC installed in your garage. Reassemble the car with new or fixed details, and they’ll send you next one. After some time you’ll get enough “free” money to “buy upgrades”, namely, the discounts for the spare parts market, ability to squeeze the next client for more money, ability to notice some of the wrecks with your blind eye, without any expertise, and, finally, ability to turn screws faster… Which is really suitable, especially when exhausts needs fixing.

The primary objective of a simulator is to accurately recreate the feeling and control of completing an existing real world task, like driving, managing, farming, dating, etc. Obviously, not all real world tasks are entertaining, in fact, most are repetitive jobs you work day after day for a paycheck. The draw of a well made simulator is the ability to experience a career virtually that you may never have the chance to experience in real life. Sometimes this can be interesting and educational, sometimes a lot of fun, and sometimes extremely boring. It’s up to the individual to decide if the simulator is fun or repetitive, which makes this genre extremely difficult to review. Do I review it based on its entertainment value alone, or how accurately it depicts the task it’s trying to recreate?

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015
This game is a wonderful mix of an intro to car components and a D&D dystopia.
Instead of making different parts show that they are worn and broken using a variety of techniques, the game uses only one. RUST.
So imagine we are handed a relatively new car that has some suspension problems. We pop the car on a lift, take a look at the undercarriage, and we find pristine parts, right next to others that look like they’ve been randomly touched by a rust monster. This makes the game into quite the amusing “find the rust” quest.

I learned some part names that I had no idea about before, and got braver on my car DIY skills. And I was also reminded that real life is of course much more complicated than a simulator like this.
Overall, I’m enjoying this simulator, and I only wished that it was more complicated in many aspects. A few points that can be worked on (although I’m just a beginner DIYer, and know much less than creators of this fine game) - hoping that this list will guide people on what to expect and perhaps help prioritizing upcoming changes:

Bus-Simulator 2012
I really hate seeing all the negative press about this game on here and seriously if I didn’t know better I wouldn’t buy this game based on the reviews… thought I would address that!
With a mixture of common sense and user manual articulation this is a very playable game; in fact the BEST of the whole Bus Sim world out there…
A lot of people have problems with performance and bugs BUT with a bit of trial and error and settings adjustments etc.. you can make the game semi stable on your machine even with low to average hardware. Anyone who hasn’t spent hours over their lifetime making very tidious and endless adjustments to a game’s setup just to get a minimal amount of great gameplay hasn’t lived and should buy an xbox…

Imagine shooting up heroin whilst riding a roller-coaster made of crystalline excitement which is going through gargantuan hoops of fire over a swamp infested with three-headed sharks which have lasers for eyes and chainsaws for fins. That is exactly what Bus Simulator 2012 is not like.
You are initially offered a choice between two settings, “Beginner” or “Expert”. Beginner mode is essentially expert mode with more prompts and sunny weather. Even on the beginner setting there is a steep learning curve, I ended up watching tutorials online and consulting the manual due to the inadequacy of the limited in-game prompts and lack of help features.

Car Detailing Simulator
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1661270/Car_Detailing_Simulator_Prologue/
Do you love watching full car restorations come to life with Larry Kosilla from AMMO NYC? Now, you can experience it for yourself. Car Detailing Simulator lets you uncover lost pieces of automotive history in an abandoned warehouse full of forgotten antique cars, then bring them back to your garage and restore them to their former glory! Polish the paint, shampoo the interior, find lost treasures and post the freshly restored car for sale online. With the profit, build out your own custom detailing shop, buy new tools, products and equipment to upgrade your detailing studio. Head back to the barn to uncover the next lost super car and continue honing your skills and building your detailing business.
Buy and restore awesome cars
Choose the car you want to renovate from a variety of types and models – muscle cars, European cars, as well as other, exotic machines to choose from. Buy one of them and then do your best to restore it, so that you sell it and buy an even more impressive piece to work on.
Find valuables
Inside the cars you will find many old, interesting, precious items like vintage lighters, money, dated documents, or even keys to another car! In this game a keen eye always gets rewarded with a little something extra, one way or the other.
A selection of tools
Car Detailing Simulator features a broad, diverse set of specialized equipment that you’ll need to accomplish all the goals of your car’s renovation. In pursuit of realism the game challenges you to select proper tools and replace their parts accordingly in order to get everything done the way it should. Wrong choices can result in some serious setbacks…
Start with the interior
The cars had stood in the shed for many years. There’s lots of rubbish and debris inside but be careful not to miss those valuables and not to destroy the interior. This is the part where you get your hands really dirty – don’t be surprised if there are even rat droppings in your way. Make sure to use the right equipment and complete your tasks with satisfactory results.
Let’s get to detailing
Next comes the exterior. Begin with washing and watch the water – you don’t want it getting inside and ruining all of your previous work. Mind the pressure too as paintwork’s a delicate thing. With everything done correctly, you’ll be rewarded with the car’s true colors – a glimpse into the days of its glory. Other tasks will for example involve tires that need to be either reinflated or replaced.
The fruits of your labours
Once everything’s to your liking in the car’s restoration process, you can marvel at your accomplishments – the vintage wonders of automotive engineering brought back into proper shape! Don’t take too much time gawking though. Yours is an expensive occupation, so it’s now time to sell your work and turn a profit in a good deal – the next challenge awaits!
Moscow Rush

more than 10 legendary Russian machines, from a variety of Kamaz trucks, GAZ-AA, ZIS-5, ZIS-150, ZIL-130 to mighty KRAZ-255 and URAL-4320;
-
more than 6 different tracks in closed snowy streets and open areas around Moscow’s surroundings;
-
multiplayer competition for up to 4 players, along with environmental effects of smoke, fire, snow, dust, and explosions;
-
In the garage, you will be able to upgrade more than 30 parts of the chassis, engine, wheels and steering system.
Motoride Rollercoaster VR
the perfect combination of immersion in the gameplay and the adrenaline that every episode in this game provides. it gives true pleasure.
I’m not, why there is still no multiplayer here, in which we could compete who will be the first to reach the finish line, or at least the honor roll.
in any case, I also really liked the single player game. I will wait for new additions to the game (for example, new locations or a choice of a motorcycle).
it seems that with such a game I understand that it was not in vain that I bought a vr helmet :)

beautiful and detailed levels, good and dynamic music in this game makes your adventure on the rollercoaster more interesting and breathtaking!
the actions take place dynamically, “slow motion” turns on at dangerous moments and it immerses you incredibly deeply into the game and makes the gameplay very exciting!
I absolutely in love with this game!

NASCAR Heat Evolution
Switching my recommendation .. Will actually recommend this based on the latest patch which was only 12.5mb. I can now use my Ferrari 458 Italia wheel. Way smoother car drives less sluggish than when used as an xbox controller.. Just noticed 3 races into my season I now have an option for Career Race Settings. Since I only have one part upgrade I switched AI difficulty from Normal to Easy so i can make some money for shop upgrades.. As I get better equipment I shall up the difficulty.. Can increase race length upto 100% I imagine but set mine to 13%. Turned Flags to FULL. Now if we can only get these options for when you create a multiplayer lobby. I’m hoping they do more with more patches to come. Judging by one 12 mb patch, I’m very optimistic. I feel like I didn’t fully explore all the options in main menu. found out you can pick your driver and change paints schemes (for those of us with DLC content) by hitting x.. you can either do a quick race or back out and go multiplayer with the same paint scheme.. Right now only problem I show other than lack of race customization in online lobbies are wreckers with no communication means to ID troublemakers and get host to boot said troublemakers.. THERE IS A KICK FUNCTION. problem is usually the host which you can’t kick. Again addition of Cautions to Online race would give us a Replay hopefully of the caution another easy way of IDing troublemakers. Everyone is grouping into one Hosted lobby.. if we can ID the host or others as troublemakers we could then go create our own lobbies and seperate the good, the bad and the ugly here. I understand making career mode a priority as a lot would prefer to play this mode to start out with. Hopeful in future updates they can make Multiplayer more enjoyable for those who like arcade and those into SIM LEAGUES.

Pros:
– It is a fun game for both fans and casual gamers
-
105% is pretty difficult for the NASCAR fans
-
Hitting the wall isn’t a dead halt like the previous NASCAR games on PC
-
The HUD doesn’t take much space
– Better ai than previous NASCAR games on PC
-
The ai actually try to make tough moves on you when you come up and try to come back down to block
-
The ai is pretty aware to where you are on the track
Neither Con nor Pro:
- It’s pretty hard to move someone out of the way but if you try at the right area at the right time you can shove them a bit.

Towtruck Simulator 2015
Out of the whole list of games made by this shovelware game developer, UIE GmbH, Towtruck Simulator 2015 is actually not that bad. And yeah, that developer was really active during the midst of the ’10s, making those zero-level-gameplay products by dozens.
However, on the real market, where you can measure games by overall comparisons, this title now is right where it belongs - at the very bottom. Very Negative reviews, in general, are on point: the physical engine in this wanna-be-game is so wrong! Especially in collisions measuring, in the correlation of masses and vectors of oppositely directed forces… I am not talking about the diversity of the missions or the layouts, about general fun-out-of-the-gameplay. No, forget it! It’s a German-made-technical-assistance-car simulator! There is no point to search for fun there, it’s all damn serious. You have a small town full of incorrectly parked cars, and a tow truck to drive them all to the impound lot. That’s all - drive back and forth until you collect them all (unlikely), fill your parking lot (if you’re a very dedicated car evacuation specialist), or, most likely, flip yourself over while doing something very plain and simple. Because physics, remember? Collision measuring? The things where this simulator really messed up everything it could.

I’ll go down the list of featues here…
Huge city with dozens of parking slots, streets and parks
-Okay, I’ll give them this. The map is decently sized, although if the vehicles moved more quickly it would feel much smaller
Hard city traffic with traffic lights and hundreds of cars
-The roads are mostly empty
Various Tow Trucks with crane and ramp
-Two crane trucks (small and large) and one ramp truck…
Simulation of all hydraulic functions
-At slower than real speed!
3 game modes
-Finally, something true

Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015
I really like trucks, so I pick up this game to work around bigger machines than a car. I am not dissapointed beacause before Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015 I had played Car Mechanic SImulator 2014, which is based on the same engine. As people said CMS 2015 is different than 2014 was, it got much more fun parts, but for me, when I came from 2014 to TMS 2015 it wasreally good and solid game.
-
trucks!
-
nice graphics
-
carrer + freeplay mode
-
3 garages
-
better music than in CMS 2014
- otimalization (FPS drops)

Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015 is no close to being as detailed as Car Mechanic 2015, yet it’s clearly off the same developer using the same engine. The problem is the interface is somehow LESS user-friendly and there are no barn find / salvage ops, just repair, repair, and more repair. I guess it can allow a person to see if they are interested in a career, but it’s not really that much… fun to play. Still, it’s different enough I’d recommend it if it’s on sale.
With a proper machine to run it at a decent frame rate, the game is pretty near. You get both European style and American style big rigs. While no trademarked names are actually used, sound-alikes are substituted instead. Europeans prefer the “noseless” cabs, while Americans prefer their trucks to have a nose. You get both older and younger generations of trucks some of them pre-date the OBDII diagnostics. The problem here is while you can run diagnostics, including OBDII scanner, test track, and even the test path, you don’t get a test result screen. Instead, you have to turn on “inspection view” where you see the vehicle with parts highlighted in green (above 70%), yellow (above 30%), or red (below 30%), which the red parts being required replacements. However, as you can imagine, not all the parts are visible, and often, you just have to check around.

Fernbus Simulator
The game is ok. It looks more like an early access then a full game but this is the problem with all german simulators. They never seem to be full releases.
The game has two modes of play: Arcade and Realistic. In arcade you pretty much think only about driving while in realistic, you need to face a lot of other details like changing gears and passanger requests.
The AI is quite dumb but this makes it more realistic becasue there are a lot of unexperienced drivers out there in real life too. Somehow, the driving feels more realistic then in ETS2 or ATS. Maybe it is because of the map scale which is bigger and the roads are longer. Also, it feels more alive because of the passengers comments on your driving when you are speeding or having accidents which makes it up for the lack of music during driving.

[UPDATE 07/10/18] Played the 1.18 beta. Honestly its still not any better than before. Sure its a little more pretty now, but the performance issues still remain to this day. AI is still garbage, cities drop in performance, and lol what physics? They’re still barely there. A bus doesn’t slow down while going downhill. (and no, neither the brake nor retarder were active) At least they got the slow down-ish sorta right when going uphill. So… they got it.. half way there?
Even though its a beta patch, I’m leaving this as my final revision of the review. I whole-heartedly do not recommend this game and have zero faith in TML Studios of doing anything competent with this game any further. Flickering graphics are still a problem since the day this game was released and still have not been fixed. Bus physics are still wrong or non-existant, and AI will probably remain garabge. The only two points where this game is decent at is that the bus models are fine and the overall world looks a bit better. Other than that, there’s nothing else to say about this game that I haven’t already said here, or in the Steam forums.
