Jalopy
Jalopy is already a lot of fun to play in its current stage. It’s a small and simple game, not one you’ll likely play through an entire night’s session (although once I almost did), but one you’ll probably want to come back to again and again for another quick round or two.
There are many cute details that make it different from most other driving and racing games in existence. First of all is, of course, the titular car you’re driving. It’s an old, ramshackle and unreliable car that is quite unpredictable and takes a lot of maintenance. While other games might have you perform chip tuning, adjust your gear ratios or put some embarrassing neon lights on your car, you’re going to be dealing with much more basic stuff here. Hope you’ll make it to the next gas station with that popped tire, adjust the oil-to-fuel ratio for your two-stroke engine, or decide whether you’re going to sell your air filter so you can afford an extra can of gas for the road, just to be sure.

Introduction
Jalopy is a game most car enthusiasts and gamers alike will enjoy, should it be properly finished. The player takes the role of a nephew charged with the task of taking their Uncle on a journey across the fallen USSR in an old ‘restored’ Liaka 601 (Trabant 601), collecting various (sometimes prohibitied) loot found on backroads and highways to keep their car running and their wallets packed to book hotels; and buy upgrades. Jalopy has an interesting and somewhat unique experience to keep players entertained, just a shame its very short and has little replayability; with the added ‘bonus’ of bugs present throughout.

UNDER the SAND - a road trip game
Note: this review is written for FullRebuilt#7
There are few games out there quite like Under the Sand for me, save for maybe Glitchhiker, though that game focuses more on a spiritual experience. Under the Sand, on the other hand, as it stands with the lastest full rebuilt version at the time of writing, offers a story-lite experience that encourages the players to weave their own experiences on a lonesome desert road. This is also what separates the experience from games like American Truck Simulator, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but also found wanting for a sense of wanderlust.

DISCLAIMER: I am trying my best not to put too much bias into this review, and just give you the features and state of this game.
It’s a game with potential. the creator has seemed to have abandoned the project though. I have had a lot of fun with it anyways. I can’t really compare it to jalopy or the long drive, because I haven’t played either of them. I do think that if there is a large sale on this game, you should get it. otherwise, don’t. I find this to be an easy game, after 2 or 3 in-game “days” or drives between motels I had enough to buy the topper, and then it’s smooth sailing from there. if you want more difficulty, go for a different road trip game like the long drive. if you just want a slightly challenging, but peaceful way to pass the time during the quarantine, go ahead and buy it. some people say that it’s a scam, and I don’t think that they are wrong, it’s a half-finished shell of a game. But I don’t think it’s a complete waste of money. you get the game, and it works. The thing that makes people think it’s a scam is the fact that the developer has abandoned the project, but still has sales on it. I got this game 50% off for $2.50. and I think that that is the price it should be sold for normally. It’s not worth 5 dollars by any means. I hope the guy behind this game picks it back up, but I’m doubtful. I don’t think it has controller support, at least I couldn’t hook up my wheel. One final note, because this game has so little in terms of content, it runs quite well on low-end computers. I play this on a PC that crashes if I open CS:GO and uses onboard graphics. I hope you all stay safe and healthy through this difficult time and have a great day.

Alaskan Truck Simulator
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1149620/Gas_Station_Simulator/
Get behind the wheel of a mighty truck and jump into the boots of the Alaskan truckers, challenge and be challenged by one of the harshest and dangerous environments.
Alaskan Truck Simulator is a unique game that blends the well-known simulators’ classics with the ruthless environment of Alaska and elements of survival. Buckle up, we are about to set off for the proper adventure!
What comes to your mind when you think of Alaska? Endless wastelands, towering peaks, harsh winters, and sunny spring-like meadows. Alaska is a unique place to explore. How to do it better than driving a truck across the entire state? Experience changing weather, vehicles’ behavior on snow, cross the uneven roads, and find out how is your truck’s condition affected by harsh climate or the driver itself –this is just to name a few elements of the game.
It would be a dreamy world if you could carelessly drive around Alaska, but let’s be real, you need these bucks to fuel your truck and feed yourself, ain’t you?
Let’s start with a few cargoes. In order not to take the fun out of driving, while progressing in the game you will gain access not only to the better trucks or equipment but also to the more challenging missions. Anyway, no matter the prestige of your mission, always drive with cautious as you may lose your cargo, damage your truck and finally, end up with debt instead of earning.
You are here for a bit of adrenaline too, right?
We want to show by our game the bond between man and the machine, what shows it better than exploring the basic needs of both? You will need to pay attention to the stats management as well for yourself as for your vehicle. Hungry, tired, out of fuel or with a broken tire - take care of all the difficulties you can encounter on the road!
Among many features:

I felt that this game was lacking lots of material for the game. The game crashed a few times for me. Then once I did manage to play the camera would go wonkey half of the time. The gameplay wasn’t great and no instructions on what to do or how to play.

American Truck Simulator
American Truck Simulator is another production from the great SCS Software studio. Considering how they care for their players in Euro Truck Simulator 2, it couldn’t be otherwise! The creators once again prove that the games they create are complete products and the support does not end when the game / add-on is paid for, but all the time! Soon there should be an update of the state of California, the original state that appeared with the game’s premiere over 5 years ago and is still being improved and adapted to current standards both visually and technically.

American Truck Simulator (ATS) is the new title of the simulation created by SCS Software, which makes us live an adventure with our truck all around breath-taking landscapes and well-known places in USA. While you are travelling you will see the most famous architecture, for example The Golden Gate in San Francisco or the famous casino or hotel in Las Vegas. ATS is expanding more and more and this shows how SCS Software cares about making its product dynamic. We will play the part of a truck driver and we will travel on roads and highways with different sceneries in the background, such as desert, little populated areas or very busy metropolis. The unpublished system of event available for everybody and everywhere, thanks to the various upgrade, makes our adventure more interesting. It randomly creates accidents, parked cars and construction by the roadside or in the highway, reducing available lanes and blocking in cars, including out truck. Be careful when you are travelling because the police are always around the corner! Moreover, the fine collection system has become stricter than it was in the past, both because of the increase of the amount of money you have to pay if you exceed speed limitations, if you go right through red lights or if you cause accidents, and above all because patrol cars, which could normally drive through traffic or be hidden behind buildings or billboards, can give you a ticket at any stage; this makes the player pay attention to speed limitations, which vary according to each state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8QocRQKJMk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NfkIrItLtI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCJkbGj7des ATS natively supports mods and communities, considering that the game engine is the same as Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS 2) and this has made many changes be able to replace the lack of official trucks and has made the game more realistic and longer-living. In ATS you will also find a managerial section in which you can purchase your truck (getting into debts with a bank, if it is necessary), customizing it according to your tastes and you can also choose among a list of several interesting jobs dedicated to those who have decided to freelance. You can also hire drivers, purchase other trucks and create a big machine which can make you earn a lot of money. At this stage you could also purchase warehouses and expand your business in other cities. Moreover, your driver can increase his level and get experience scores which you could use in different sectors, such as fragile or luxury goods, trafficking length, special transports (e.g. explosive) and rush deliveries. This happens above all when you meet longer trailers than they were before, so that also a veteran of this saga needs some time to get used to the driving of these new means and to park them. Actually, it is possible to choose the difficulty of this latter: normal or expert. In the normal version the maneuvers which are necessary are on the same level of ETS 2, in the expert version it becomes more and more difficult because you are required to park your trailer in little areas and overcome obstacles. ATS is a title in which developers have focused more on quality than on quantity of contents. For those who have experienced ETS 2 this could be a negative point, however the realism takes advantage of it and shows places and situations which are always different. I suggest that both those who experienced its predecessor and those who are neophytes buy this game. I highly recommend this game! Bus-Simulator 2012
I really hate seeing all the negative press about this game on here and seriously if I didn’t know better I wouldn’t buy this game based on the reviews… thought I would address that!
With a mixture of common sense and user manual articulation this is a very playable game; in fact the BEST of the whole Bus Sim world out there…
A lot of people have problems with performance and bugs BUT with a bit of trial and error and settings adjustments etc.. you can make the game semi stable on your machine even with low to average hardware. Anyone who hasn’t spent hours over their lifetime making very tidious and endless adjustments to a game’s setup just to get a minimal amount of great gameplay hasn’t lived and should buy an xbox…

Imagine shooting up heroin whilst riding a roller-coaster made of crystalline excitement which is going through gargantuan hoops of fire over a swamp infested with three-headed sharks which have lasers for eyes and chainsaws for fins. That is exactly what Bus Simulator 2012 is not like.
You are initially offered a choice between two settings, “Beginner” or “Expert”. Beginner mode is essentially expert mode with more prompts and sunny weather. Even on the beginner setting there is a steep learning curve, I ended up watching tutorials online and consulting the manual due to the inadequacy of the limited in-game prompts and lack of help features.
