Lumberjack’s Dynasty

Lumberjack’s Dynasty

The weirdest thing about Lumberjack’s Dynasty – in a very long list of strange things – are the overheard snippets of conversation as you approach the game’s various NPCs.

As you round the crest of a hill you might eavesdrop on a neighbour muttering something about how “everyone is talking about it”.

Stroll up the drive of your aunt’s house and she’ll be whispering “yes, it will all be out in the open soon” to your uncle, before they both stop mid-conversation and slowly rotate on the spot like a pair of rotisserie chickens to face you.

First good stuff: I started playing Lumberjack’s Dynasty about 2 weeks ago. When I started a new game I loved the intro and the starter story of the game. The game shows you everything you need to know. I love the graphics and the settings for the game. They are easy to set up and understand. The game gives you a lot of things to do from reasing different animals, cutting down trees, mowing the grass, talk with different people, cook and so on. I love that the NPCs have voices and also movements. You will see them around the map doing stuff. The game has money and social points, that you get b doing tasks. The game offers you to get all-important vehicles and trailers with talking to people and unlocking/finishing different quests. People say it is hard to get money, but I get money pretty fast as I milk my cows, pick up eggs, get some honey, and so on. By selling stuff to sellers you can get a lot of money. All the tools and guides are very smooth and realistic. When you cut down a tree it falls down really realistic. All that I can say is that this game offers you more than you think. There are also a lot of updates almost every month and there is a lot of trailers, tools, food, animals, vehicles, and people that you can talk to them. To get some trailers you need to be indifferent chapters. You can also make furniture and the game is open-world with a big map.

CRASH EFFECTS Inc.

CRASH EFFECTS Inc.

Founded in 2012, Crash Effects Inc. has specialized in helping vehicle manufactures design and test the vehicles of tomorrow! Now it’s your turn to take the seat of a Vehicle Crash Test Engineer and design the safe rides of tomorrow!

Build It!

Build your design from the wheels up sparing no detail untouched in the design dome. Meet the specifications required by the manufacturer’s mission or build your own crazy creations. With no details left to spare, everything from the type of vehicle frame used to the paint color of the tailgate is up to you! With over 150+ vehicle parts and many more to come the possibilities are endless!

Stage It!

Prepare for impact! Well not just yet. As an official Crash Test Engineer you will need to set the stage for your momentous event. Configure the crash floor with a variety of cement barriers, blockades, barrels and a few other wacky items. Maneuver the 750 ton portable barrier into its final resting position. Aim the high speed cameras placed throughout the facility to ensure every angle of impact is captured. There’s even a tunnel that can be moved into one of five possible angles of attack!

Load Em Up!

In the vehicle bay, configure the vehicle selections for impact. Place five different types of crash test equipment on your crash test subjects. To buckle or not to buckle is up to you, with four unique crash test dummies. You choose when and where our friend “Steve” the dummy gets seated. You can even bring his whole family along for the ride too!

5.4.3.2.1!

Right then, Let it rip! Flip the switch to engage the cinematic stage lighting. Press the start button and send your creations hurtling down the crash test halls at speeds over 60 MPH or 100 KPH! Let the carnage unfold at your own pace: in slow motion or high speed. Watch as the glass breaks, metal crumples, airbags deploy, and vehicle parts fly!

Grab the Data!

Once the lights come back on, it’s time to collect the critical impact data. Use the Measurement Master M2000 to record changes to your creation’s shape after the crash. Download the onboard crash data from the Data Logger and Crash Test Dummies to determine if your occupants survived. Finally compile your results and see how your vehicle creation’s ratings match up. Only then, will you see whether or not you have what it takes to be a Crash Effects Inc. Crash Test Engineer!

Happy Crash Testing!

Emergency Road Services Simulator is a new approach to learning how to solve problems with a car on the roads. The game will allow you to run your own small roadside assistance business and climb to the top of your mobile mechanic career. You will take part in various support tasks on the road, with different levels of difficulty, and at any time of the day. It does not matter if it is just replacing a light bulb, a flat tire, or resetting an error from the computer. You have to deal with the problem on the spot! Well, unless it is impossible, then you will need a tug and a repair team.

Playing the role of a roadside assistance worker, our challenge will be to repair cars in harsh road conditions. When called to order, we will have to diagnose the problem well, first away from the scene, and then on the spot. The tools you take with you will be key to solving the task.

Each repair will have an impact on your company’s reputation level. It is the client who will judge whether he is satisfied with your services or if you end up on his blacklist. Your reputation level will affect the number of consecutive orders, which will translate into cash that you can earn. As your reputation and wealth grow, you will be able to expand your business by purchasing new support vehicles, expanding your garage, expanding the scope of services, obtaining new licenses, or hiring new employees.

There are many unique types of glitches in the game. You will be able to choose from among the offers of services, as long as you obtain the appropriate licenses for them, expand your workshop or hire specialists. You’ll be able to face real day-to-day problems such as replacing a bulb, changing a wheel, charging the battery, breaking the clutch, refueling, helping with crashes and accidents, and much more.

You can do repairs only in the field. Your people will take care of everything in the workshop, so choose the right team and build your road services empire!

Key features:

  • Various road missions

  • Repair mini-games

  • Business management system

  • Reputation level

  • Advanced repair mechanics

  • Character development

Craftica

Craftica

Craftica: Building Your Wonderland

Craftica is a creative sandbox game with ultra high degrees of freedom for building. It supports deformable voxels and subvoxels at multiple scales so that smooth objects can be built in realistic scales, and makes it possible to build very elegant architectures.

Craftica provides a large number of electronic and mechanical as well as other related device items, allowing players to build sophisticated circuits and circuit-controlled electronic and mechanical devices. Players can even build vehicles, aircrafts, robots and computers etc. high-tech objects from items as basic as logical gates.

Deformable Voxel and Subvoxels

In Craftica the basic voxel is a full cube and the subvoxels are partial cubes with one or more corner chopped off.

The voxels and subvoxels are deformable, and can be made more round or less round by hammer tools.

The support of deformable voxels and subvoxels in Craftica makes it possible to create much smoother objects in this game than in other voxel-based sandbox games.

Also the voxel and subvoxels in Craftica are supported at multiple size levels, so that fine structures can be represented at a scale comparable to the real world.

As an example, Craftica has very good support for East Asian architectures, and includes a large number of standard structures with East Asian architecture styles.

In Craftica, subvoxels are also used to smooth the procedurally generated terrain. And terrain and objects imported from Minecraft Schematic files are also smoothed using subvoxels.

Smart Placement of Blocks and Items

Craftica is designed to allow intuitive construction of objects using subvoxels, and supports consistent operations for placing basic blocks (voxels and subvoxels) and items.

Craftica also supports rule-based placement. When an object item is being placed near another object, if there is a predefined rule to determine a proper placement for the object in relative the other, the rule will be used to calculate the proper placement location and orientation.

In-Scene Crafting

Item crafting in Craftica can be done in the scene, using formulas that are structural and intuitive.

Device Items

Craftica provides a number of standard mechanical and electronic device items that can be used to build complex circuit as well as machines that can be controlled by circuits.

Circuits in this game emulates those in the real world with great simplifications. Like circuits in the real world, Craftica uses physical connection between components to construct functional circuits. These circuits are mainly powered by electric energy and driven by data exchanges.

(See the documentation included in the game for more information)

Village

In Craftica worlds, some places are generated with villages. Each village is generated with a few houses and at least one workshop and one defensive fort or tower, and spawns with at least one warrior to defend the village.

The relationship between a village and a player is characterized by affinity. Affinity can be zero, positive or negative, indicating a neutral, friendly or hostile relationship.

The affinities between villages and player(s) are initialized randomly. Normally, there will be more neutral villages than friendly and hostile ones, and more friendly ones than hostile ones. Their actual percentages may vary according to game modes and difficulty levels.

Trade

When a positive affinity reaches certain levels, the player will have free access to some village structures and storages (different structures and storages may have different affinity thresholds). And when a negative affinity reaches a certain level, the village warrior will actively attack the player.

Trading with villagers or defending the village against hostile mobs will improve the affinity between the player and the village. On the other hand, attacking villagers will deteriorate the affinity.

Survival

In survival mode, barbarians and other hostile mobs will be generated. They will attack the player and villages. The only way to survive is to fight back or run!

Model Importing

In addition to the creative and survival modes, Craftica supports an experimental development mode. In this mode, the player can import external models into the game worlds.

The player can either choose a Minecraft Schematic file (currently only .schematic file is supported, .schem file will be supported the upcoming updates) to import when creating a new game in the development mode:

Or import .obj 3D model files (importing Schematic files within a game will also be supported in the future) within a game in the development mode:

How to make heads or rails of Bloody Trains…?

I purchased this software on artistic merit alone, feeling an instant affinity towards the aesthetic. i fell aboard blindly, ready to chugga chugga woo woo. The controls are simple — the instructions are non-existent — you’ll scratch your head, it will blood, and you will like it. Although confusing, the lack of direction is not a setback. The simple controls allow for intuitive gameplay, and the smartly designed symbols and signage within the game do unfold with meaning as you progress. This is the perfect game for anyone who likes to think and frown before figuring out a satisfactory gotcha or aha! It may not be for you if you prefer to be spoon fed.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2018

So… Is it worth it..?

After a metric ton of bug fixing with 1/2 a ton more to go, yes IMO.

Don’t be fooled by the title, Simulator is a stretch. It’s more like a SIMPLulator. Every car uses the same Clutch assembly. There isn’t an Automatic to be seen. There’s one set of pads, one style of Caliper. All of the parts for the cars are pretty standardized and interchange quite a bit between many makes and models. While it makes Brake work way to easy, the game does a really nice job of weaving them into some nice representations of suspension systems and engines. The DLCs introduce more variations and more specific parts per manufacturer which is nice.

The majority of Car Mechanic Simulator ‘18’s content is locked behind grinding, but for good reason. If you’re coming in expecting to immediately restore and sell cars for big dosh, guess what, you’re gonna to be doing a lot oil changes and brake jobs first because, yes, it is a simulation of you building your talents and reputation as a skilled carsman.

When you first try to repair parts, most will turn to dust because you have big, clumsy hands. You WILL dump oil on to your shop floor because you forgot to drain it before removing the oil pan. You WILL struggle to find the one valve pushrod that’s causing the loss of engine power to complete your order unless you pull off the engine heads and investigate. You WILL spend an hour and a half figuring out where and what a fuel pump is.

Airport Simulator 3: Day & Night

Airport Simulator 3: Day & Night

Nearly recommended this because I’ve enjoyed playing it eventually after realizing I need to have the employees doing all the work and just managing then versus doing the work myself.

Managing the crew works quite well and I enjoyed it. Why is it better to manage, here’s when the problem lies, the game is a buggy mess, most vehicles work ok but there are some that completely break the game.

To start you drive the bus, baggage, and fuel truck, appart from them ending up upside down sometimes they work fine for the most part. It’s once you unlock the other vehicles that poop hits the fan. The jetway got stuck in the terminal building and it’s still stuck there, never to be used again, I have to pay to skip that task now, the baggage loaders bug out a lot and will end up as scrap on the map meaning I have to buy/rent a new one and try to ignore the Broken ones.

When things worked, it was actually fun for a bit. But things are constantly not working, the game seems like it is in a pre-alpha stage, things are so buggy almost nothing works correctly about 85% of the time.

Crossout

Crossout

TLDR: google “crossout slam dunk” (even if you have no intention of ever playing the game, lol).

Full version (Scroll below for a section on “omg, grind!"):

After enjoying this game for quite a while, I feel like I at the very least owe them a Steam review, because in my mind the “Mixed” rating (as of writing this) is quite unfair, and is largely created by new players mistaking a learning curve for a “paywall”.

Which leads me to this main advice to starting players:

Real player with 2812.2 hrs in game

This game is EXTREMELY poorly managed. And trust me, this means alot, because most of the time i overvalue games and i respect the developers alot. I also recommend most of the games i play, to my friends. I would honestly not recommend crossout to anyone. This became one of the worst games i have ever played. Just because of some poor decisions

Let me talk about some key elements of the game.

GRINDING

Don’t be fooled by the fact that the game is free. The small playerbase is used to invest lots of money in the game, so as a new player, or a player who really plays for free, it’s a dead end. You will be smashed by the others, since the items are tier based and every tier is more expensive than the prior one. The last one takes few months, even years of grinding, depending on how often you play, of course, if you don’t pay real money. That being said, you might just find yourself in huge disadvantages if you play for free. There were decent ways to farm in game coins fast, but don’t worry, the developers made sure to patch them, so everything is a slow process and you don’t get anything significant without paying them.
