Bus Simulator 21

Sadly too many bugs in this game to recommend it. Which is sad, since it has potential.

It’s a good game compared to previous editions 2016 and 2018. That said, a lot of progress is still needed to emerge alongside other bus simulation games like OMSI 2 or The Bus.

Many minor bugs spoil the gaming experience:

  • The headlights of NPC vehicles are for some non-functional.

  • Crowds of NPCs on the bridge north of the Westfield Corners stop.

  • The rear headlights (brake lights) are not functional on the IVECO Urbanway: They remain either on or off but there is no link with the braking.

Drifters Don’t Brake

Drifters Don’t Brake

Even arcade-y-er than I expected.

Enjoyable, rage inducing but just gotta memorize the track and remember to start turning before you approach or sometimes even see the turn.

Music is enjoyable but track list is so short it quickly loops, probably turning music off soon.

Worth the price and worth my time!

Quick Race

Quick Race

Fun game, would recommend. Quite a few tracks, good bot support. Steering is a little wonky at first but is reallu quick to get used to and is fun afterwards.

Everything you need to do is very simple – just race and over take every other car on the track to win the race! Quick Race is a simple racing game where you can compete with AI or on a split screen with your friend.

Main features included in the game:

10 tracks with different shapes and surfaces

ability to change time of the day

ability to change AI difficulty

different types of cars

split screen

changeable amount of laps

simple steering

Quick Race is definitely not the simulation game but the steering is made to imitate as much as possible the real steering. Remember to be a nice driver to the other cars. Otherwise they won’t be nice to you causing you to end a race on a wall or out of the track. So, what are you waiting for? Grab the key and put it into your racer’signition!

The Legend of Bear-Truck Trucker

I spent the weekend absolutely obsessed with this game. A very simple premise, and incredibly charming in its own quiet way. There’s some real min-maxing depth available here, and lots of laughs (with the occasional heartbreak) in the physics. Highly recommended for those stretches of time where no other games seem to stick and you just don’t know what to play. You want to play this :)

Even tho I’ve only Played this for 3 Hour’s NONSTOP there’s something primal inside all of us that need’s to stack & organise everything otherwise known as OSD

& this game somehow nail’s that 100% as you drive all over America making delivery after delivery I will update this sometime in the future

But it’s so good I have to shout it out now

Might even try 2 convice Captin Sause to play it

10/10 Would Bear again

Redout: Enhanced Edition

Redout: Enhanced Edition

Game is good, and hard. Visuals are great and music is quite good too (and fitting). If you have questions/concerns, go to the official discord (search for redout). I can go more into that later. But, I would like to address certain inane negative reviews that are popping up. By not allowing comments, others can’t explain the issues that they bring up, which is pretty unfair for the game. Hopefully this will clarify some things.

How it Runs; Crashes:

My low end 2012 computer with onboard graphics runs the game decently with the lowest settings, but the problems are mainly from when there are a lot of AI racers with you, especially on parts of certain maps. I seem to get from 28-48fps if no weapons are used, AI probably taking a few frames off. Played off and on since late 2018, a lot recently. I tend to crash when I use Repair Drone (great for new people but shouldn’t rely on it) on certain tracks, and sometimes I crash during vs AI races, presumably because of them using said powerup, but this is usually rare (helps to get out in front of the pack I think). But my computer/gfx are bad, so. Download the demo. It is an old version and I think it ran slightly worse, and the physics are a bit different, but you can get an idea of how it plays, and if it will likely run well. If you’re worried about crashes/bugs, ask the Discord for more details on what can happen and how to avoid issues. I am not bothered that much by most of it, and I think I can avoid most all of it (other than Repair Drone crash on some tracks).

6/1/18: Although everything I wrote in this review is true, I NO LONGER SUPPORT REDOUT.

Thank you.

“REDOUT: Enhanced Edition” is (oddly enough) advertised as a futuristic AG (anti gravity) racer that’s a throwback to the “past” of computer games, perhaps because today’s DEVs feel players don’t want something new in their futuristic racing games. Fortunately, this reviewer/player is neither hampered nor guided by those comparrisons, and so this review (and reviewer) will ignore them generally, presuming experienced players are far more knowledgeable. However, since potential REDOUT consumers are clearly expected to know earlier racers well enough to base this purchase specifically on that knowledge, I will touch on gameplay only superficially, and place focus on where this game is less than perfect and may dissapoint players. (In many ways, REDOUT feels like a game BEGGING to be completed contextually.)

For anybody looking to add an additional cyberpunk game to your collection, this isn’t a terrible addition. As it stands right now, this game is playable, however there is a lot of room for improvement. As of writing, this game is on version 1.0 and was released shortly ago, so please consider this before passing off on this game!

I personally found my first playthrough of this to be rather enjoyable as I enjoy the cruising and driving aspect of the game even if I’m not making any progress. A few notes of improvement though I will recollect:
