Meat & Greed is a 3D side scroller puzzle platformer game set in a slaughterhouse.

Rover Mechanic Simulator
Rover Mechanic Simulator, yet another mechanic simulator game where the player is expected to unscrew some machinery, disassemble it, find some malfunction, repair it and then assemble it again. It is looking good, it sounds good (especially music tunes on local radio), and it provides somewhat unique machinery to fix - some remotely-driven drones which are supposedly used to explore Mars.
However… the usual thing happened. The idea was good, but its execution doesn’t actually cover the fun and enjoyment section.

I love this game. I absolutely love this game. I am fully in love with it. It has become my go-to relaxation experience. And I will explain below why that is in detail. But in brief: Rover Simulator is a very niche, ridiculously expansive mechanics and repair simulator which oozes passion, love, and complexity from every pore. It is a wonderful little experience which, for the price, I could not only recommend more, but say is worth more. You fix rovers. And that’s what you’ll do. From the so-called ‘MER Twins’ - Spirit and Opportunity - to the tiny, adorable Sojourner, all the way up to the (DLC-bound but heavily recommended) Perseverance rover, you’ll disassemble, clean, re-solder, and re-assemble them all.

Per Aspera
It’s rare for a city builder / logistics game to have a good story, but this one sure does. Through monologue and dialogue options we follow the self-discovery and existential ruminations of the player character, an AI tasked with terraforming Mars. The planet visuals are beautiful. It’s incredible to zoom in and look at the contoured terrain and watch it change as it fills in with water and plant life.
Gameplay is less elaborate than most city builders and the logistics are not even close to the level of complexity of something like a Factorio style game. Managing the interconnected temperature and atmospheric composition is interesting. The end result is a casual, relaxing builder with a memorable story.

===SUMMARY===
This is my favorite game of 2021. I like simulation games as a group, and this is a beautiful installment of this growing genera. I love what simulations teach me, being spoon fed facts off a list. I love that (having played Per Aspera) I know the landscape of Mars better. I know some of the names, sure, but grokking the SCALE, the oddness, sparking my curiosity about Noctis Labyrinthus, just from working on the planet is priceless. I became familiar with Mars in a way that Surviving Mars never did (though I played that a lot too).

Hostile Mars
Hostile Mars is a Tower-Defense Factory-Building game. You must create efficient supply chains, salvage destroyed enemies, and upgrade structures to support your gigantic cannons that defend your base against thousands of enemies.
UPGRADE GIGANTIC GUNS
Upgrade everything to a ridiculous degree. Laser turrets come in sizes 1, 2, 3, or 120.
BATTLE THOUSANDS OF ENEMIES
Enemy drones pour over the hills and tower above you. You will need every upgrade you can get to defend against them.
AUTOMATE YOUR SUPPLY CHAIN
You don’t have time to defend your base and acquire supplies!
Instead, create supply lines by automating hundreds of delivery bots to harvest ore and resupply your base.

Disclaimer: I’m nearing 1000 hours on this game. I’m a filthy addict, and the developers know it. I’ve just now finally gotten around to writing a review.
Stationeers is the culmination of everything I’ve ever wanted to see in a STEM video game, and it’s still just in its infancy. I have high hopes for its future and have complete trust in these developers that they will not disappoint.
Mathematics. Engineering. Chemistry. Physics. Biology. It all comes into play in one form or another. It’s problem solving and learning science at its best. IN SPACE. It even allows you to gain a better grasp on Celsius, Kelvin, and Pascal’s if these units were once foreign to you.

My EARLY ACCESS review of Stationeers after having played it for about 190 hours:

The game is changing constantly, so this review probably doesn’t apply anymore in a few months.

There are constant updates, not on a scheduled weekly basis like Space Engineers but the developers seem to be motivated and active both on the forums and otherwise. The updates I’ve seen so far contained lots of fixes and content, such as the Ground Penetrating Radar (ore scanner) and the Portable Solar Panel with the last two.
