Idle Monster Frontier
I find this to actually be a very good Single Player Monster Collector game.
You push your team of monsters through a series of waves of enemies, collecting gold and other monsters to build your team. The basic gameplay loop is a monster collector, where a gold resource and other monsters you don’t want/need are consumed to make your main monsters more powerful.
It has a traits system where monsters can learn abilities from others allowing for customization.
The game is free, obviously with some very pay to win stuff available in the store. However there is practically nothing you cannot get in this game by playing it normally for free. The daily gems (premium currency) quests will give you a slow stream of currency to buy the things you need. Some players have complained that the best monsters in game are purchasable in the shop for 750 gems (which is a LOT) however they don’t really take into account that fact that this is a bad purchase type. The monster could have a low speed rating, and due to how levelling up a monster works, you do not need only 1 of a top tier monster, you will ultimately need many, many copies.

READ THIS!!
Lets start by saying this game will not play itself 100% of the time, SO WHAT!!.
This game has TONS of unique things not seen or tried on any of the multiple and plenty of Idles ive played before!
This game encourages creativity and imagination to build not the optimal but the team you dream of, The core is the only defining part while you are able to freely create a creature however you dream it for you specific team. They add new units, events, and they are (DEV) Looking out for the game, Dont let this few people that play the game for minutes or even low hours fool you. THIS IS A GREAT GAME.

Unholy Heights
An apartment management tower-defense game about your resident monsters against humans.
While the idea of being a landlord is enticing the tower-defense part can get incredibly tedious & repetitious since there’s not a whole lot of strategy to use here from beginning to end.
The idea of the tower-defense is just to stop humans from stealing your money and if they get away with it you only lose your highly expendable tenant should they have died defending the money taken so there’s no real fail state. You try and stop the humans by knocking on the room doors of the monsters of your choosing and IF they’re home (which most usually are) they’ll do their tower-defense thing and help kill the intruders.

Let me tell you about Popan.
Popan was the first baby ever born in my apartments. She was a Cheepy so I didn’t have high expectations. Popan was probably 3 days old when her parents died in an unfortunate ambush on my complex. I had a ton of other tenants, so I didn’t see the harm in waiting for her to grow up. Somehow, she never became in debt. This fucking baby was paying the rent. She grew up to be a total badass. She would single-handedly wipe out entire waves of enemies without breaking a sweat.

Glitch War
Glitch War is a Action, Strategy, video game. It’s a game where you command units as you take back your world from invading monsters. You control unique characters who each have their own special attacks. There are puzzles and boss fights that you will have to make your way though. There is an open world to explore. You can go in any direction you want, find new areas, new units, and experience each area as you progress through the game. I am an indie developer and have been working on this game for just under a year now and its really shown me my passion for creating games! It has been such a blast and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have making the game!

Soul of Giga
I love this kind of games, short to the point and with a lot of hope for future titles. Everything can become bigger and better! Hope you like battles with mini armies cause that’s what this game is like.

This is a very well designed battle monster game with beautiful artwork and a simple but effective gameplay. Extra points for being fully playable with just the mouse.
Also, about the bad review someone left saying there’s no autobattle, said feature unlocks after finishing some quests, after an hour of playing or so. However is not autobattle like an autochess, where you deploy your gigas and they autofight, is the classic “after you three-star an area you can skip the battle and get the rewards” feature.

Tavern of Gods
Do you enjoy autobattlers but find more fun in longer-form, singleplayer experiences? This may scratch your itch.
A little rough around the edges but this has the potential to be a new genre-defining game.
If you enjoy roguelikes – Slay the Spire, Monster Train, etc - you most likely will enjoy this game
If you enjoy autobattlers – Teamfight Tactics, Dota Autochess – you will most likely enjoy this game
If you enjoy both of these genres – you will undoubtedly enjoy this game.
Just be warned – there is very little tutorial and no hand holding, so it may take you a run or two to understand the MANY systems at play here (and there are a lot of systems). While this makes for a steep ramp, this also makes for a ton of replayability.

As usual steam needs a neutral option.
Auto battler where I don’t have to worry about other people draining the pool of the unit type I want to play is a huge plus. As w/ most of these game it has plenty of types, plenty of items, and this one seems to have an excessive amnt of reroll options.
The bad part of course is the boss system. You have fixed bosses over several regions which you can challenge in any order so you can attempt to avoid bosses that would be a bad matchup for your build type early on. Though I don’t like fixed bosses there is at least some strategy factored into your order of fights.

Alcheverse: Shadow from Gladview
The map of the island of Gigax is generated from scratch every time and it’ll be hard for Lumpy to complete his journey! In the map you’ll find ingredients like the Tentacle or the Star Shard, fight packs of Corrupted Alcheverse that will attack you, meet strange individuals like the Merchant or King Paxton, who will offer you extravagant trades!
Craft your Alcheverse by mixing different ingredients together and unlock all recipes. Each of these powerful creatures has 10 differents statistics that influence their performance in battle and an unique skill that gives each of them a characteristic play style! To get the most out of your team you’ll also need to use the Sinergies wisely. When two or more Alcheverse share a common ingredient you’ll gain a Synergy bonus that improves the creatures statistics!
Position your Alcheverse in the most strategic way and let them fight for you: automatic combat allows you to focus on the strategy rather than the reflexes. Unlock powerful Synergies to overcome the hardest fights! Beware, the game is challenging and it will take you time to learn all the best strategies and combos!
The town of Gladview is in danger! The greed of King Paxton led to the creation of the Corruption: a failed alchemy experiment that infects everything it touches! The Master alchemist Gullio was also Corrupted, and he’s the only one that can fix this mess! You are Lumpy, the alchemist apprentice that will make the journey to the Volcano of the island of Gigax to rescue Gullio. Will you be able to save the master and end the Corruption?
Darwin’s Aquarium
The game is a realtime fish simulation with realtime learning artificial intelligence.
Build up a tank, start training and breeding your own fish and maybe some day, start defeating the big evil bossfish!
Earn money by advancing your breeding capabilities, improve your breeding grounds and unlock more valuable fish.
You’ll see plenty of unbelievable fish interaction: Fish that start hunting, fleeing, cooperating. Some might learn to farm algae, other might start to bait less harmful fish… who knows..? There is no limit to the interaction of the fish and every evolution of species can bring new features. Make sure you select your fish carefully and only breed the fittest, so you can compete against the other fish.
It’s up to you and your fish to cooperate with other players or just defeat them- but be warned: Your fish are getting intelligent. They might have their own will soon!
Runeverse: Sea Brawls
The best designed autobattler by far. Minimal RNG that can be easily mitigated with good play, extremely good balance between the factions (every faction can truly beat every other faction) and the developers are lightning fast in taking aboard feedback and correcting any issues with the game. For anyone who likes this genre of games, this is a must play.

I love this game, i played it back when it was a beta mode in another card game they had, then decided to make it its own standalone game which is awesome. Used to be extremely buggy and barely playable. Although. as time went buy the developers would listen to their players and fix all the bugs and stabilize the game. Which made this game amazing and really fun to play. Constant updates and they love hearing suggestions and taking them to consideration.
