It took me a little while to get used to the controls, but after that, they got to be a lot of fun. I’m really looking forward to seeing how things progress!

This game is an absolute blast. I will say $22 for a simple game like this seems high. But i promise, if you enjoy racing games and Motocross type games, you will love this.

I HIGHLY recommend you and a few buddies to get this game. It is SO much fun racing each other and the battles are intense.

If you dont have any friends to play it with, honestly its still extremely fun. The AI in this game ain’t no punk. They are rippers. Which is great because its still a challenge even if you arent playing online.

MX vs ATV Reflex is widely considered to be the best arcade motocross game ever made, and it’s hard to disagree. Very complex and fun physics, easy to play but insanely hard to master. Its free air physics, the best terrain deformation in any game until Spintires appeared — in some ways it’s still superior to Spintires though — and legendary track design makes it a game which is definitely worth your money.

Make no mistake: this isn’t a game in which for the first day you will ride a bike like Ricky Carmichael or James Stewart. Over a hundred hours of gameplay and I still find myself a few seconds slower per lap than the top guys. You will fall, you will fail, and you will do it a lot, because the physics are very twitchy and sensitive, but when you actually succeed in nailing that perfect lap, that perfect race, the game will get incredibly satisfying.

Smirkers

Smirkers

This is a happy simple game.

Through the transmission of happiness, more faces are full of smiling faces.

Game mode: use the mouse to pull the smiley face to make it touch other faces. After many collisions, all faces turn into smiley faces. After winning the game, you can enter the next level.

Features of the game:

The screen of this game uses a variety of Galaxy effects with a high degree of authenticity. In operation, players only need to control the mouse to put their own tactics into action. On the whole, it’s a work that tests the strategy of players. If you like, you can download it and experience it yourself.

Space Pioneer

Space Pioneer

Space Pioneer is a simple & straight forward twin stick shooter with loads of mobile style upgrade grinding. Roguelike fans will probably find this one on the easy side but if you like circle strafing enemies with the trigger down, give it a try.

Early Looks into the game:

Played For around a half hour, and so far, I like it.

Game is fun, lots of good bosses and gameplay, definitely something I havent seen a game done before.

I haven’t found out yet but im assuming that this game is sort of an enhanced pc edition of a mobile game because im getting that kind of feel from this game. However, the game is VERY good for something that I feel like would be a mobile game. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys quick fps rounds involved with fast paced gameplay. I would mostly recommend getting this game on a discount, but full price is still a decent price.

At first coming from reflex, I hated this game with a passion. But after having over 2k hours on reflex over the years, it was time to look for something else. 1st impression, no feel for the bike, couldn’t turn, coudln’t whip, could barely make any of the jumps. And why is the camera panning sideways in 3rd person? This of all things really screwed me over, this panning of the camera sideways in every turn, made it very easy to run off the track in every turn. I felt limited it what I could do.

UPDATE: In all fairness to Rainbow Studios, I promised to update this review if it changed. The game does seem to be running better now. The SX still drops occasionally, but it is nowhere near as bad as before and not too noticeable.I played one National event, and, while not as smooth as I’d like, it is now playable and if you can deal with a few drops here and there, not bad. But also, having played the game more now, I do have a few complaints. Let’s be honest, the DLC is a money grab here. Sell me the whole game up front. I get adding on new tracks as time goes by, but these were tracks released on the original XBOX 360 and PS3 games, not brand spanking new. And having to pay for a bike that the competitor offers as standard is getting a little old. However, it is still a fun game. I bring up these issues in hopes that one day the developer will listen and I won’t have to keep playing the lottery hoping I can win in order to fund the motocross game I’d like…you know, the tracks from the Lucas Oil Nationals and better physics. I mean, come on, I haven’t played Budds Creek since Jeremy McGrath Supercross on the N64. GIVE THE PLAYERS WHAT THEY WANT, but I digress.

Rude Racers: 2D Combat Racing

Rude Racers: 2D Combat Racing

This is easily the best 2d combat racing game out there and I’m not even exaggerating! It reminds me of the old games I used to play on arcade, the art style is cartoony, characters are funny and music is mind blowing. The progression is quite linear and the later levels kept me engaged for hours where I had to dodge incoming attacks and time a counter blow while riding at high speeds and evade the contraptions all at the same time! With so much variety in events and depth of content in terms of weapons, riders and atvs this game is dirt cheap as compared to other games on Steam.

Real player with 50.8 hrs in game

Rude Racers is a cheap game but very optimized and hides a very challenge gameplay.

What is Rude Racers?

It is a scrolling game, where you need to beat your quad/endure bike enemies with your speed or with the brute force before the time finishes or the finish lap.

We have two modalities: Career and quick mode.

In quick mode, you can choose the type of race you will do, while the divided into seasons (5 in total) while the career doesn’t need an explanation.

Pure Rock Crawling

Pure Rock Crawling

Let’s start with the countless hours of spin tires, mudrunner and beam NG i’ve played to get my rock crawling fix. IRL i own a 08' JK on one tons/40’s, but have to travel far to wheel. Having a game dedicated strictly to just the art of crawling is amazing because i may not get the full satisfaction i get from the real thing, but these sims are the closest thing. This game specifically will be much better than those counterparts because it’s strictly dedicated to crawling rather than a logging road or a crash dummy course. If crawling interest you, then i believe you should most certainly purchase this game and support the great work this dev have put into this games current state. Which it’s in great shape and hopefully continues with the same momentum with your support ;)

[EDIT: 11/1/21018 Originally I said that the physics made the cars feel as if light, miniature cars. I no longer feel that’s the case. Not sure which update is the cause, but it did a great job of crreating the feeling of full size, full weight vehicles. VERY NICE!

–—————————————————

Pure Rock Crawling is one of those games on Steam that calls out for a three-tier rating system. There’s plenty of good (and some not so good), so I decided to enjoy the best, and rate based on the game concept and hopes that come with all Early Access games. Thus, a positive rating, and every hope for a brighter, larger future.

Rocky Ride

Rocky Ride

Important bit: I enjoyed playing Rocky Ride

The game consists of racing tracks to get trophies, gold or otherwise. You also win money for good race finish position, and pick up coins and get coins for knocking other contestants off the track. You get to choose whether to spend coins on speed, acceleration or handling. The controls are so-so, the car control gets better once you’ve upgraded it via spending the coins earned.

Story: No story.

Graphics: I hope you like bloom and over-saturation!

Remember the 90s, back when we all had a local pizza parlor with an arcade and we had to beg our parents for quarters? Rocky Ride is something you might see if we had modern arcades that didn’t cost a dollar per play. Its beauty is in its art style and simplicity, and it’s a game that’s here to serve niche fans.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3cuNe5c46E

My gameplay will tell you more about whether Rocky Ride is right for you than anything I could say. It’s a modern take on the old style arcade games, and either that’s your cup of tea or it’s not. And that’s okay. You’ve just got WASD movement controls and a rearview mirror that you’ll never use, but the braking and reverse are more responsive than in any other racer I’ve played. Jumps are cinematic. Loop-de-loops are fun but require momentum you sometimes won’t have. Mines are satisfying to wreck your opponents.

OVERPASS™

OVERPASS™

This game is FUN. The graphics are awesome, the engine/sound effects are very satisfying, and there is around 40 hours of engaging gameplay in conquering everything it has to offer. The career mode is a little on the thin side, but there is a good variety of tracks and the finals offer a number of fresh obstacles to take on.

The physics are excellent. They are not broken like some claim. There is just a bit of a catch 22 in the career mode: you need upgrades in order to even finish some of the tracks offered, but you cannot get the upgrades without making a decent time and coming in third. I was able to work around this by tackling what tracks I was able to, unlocking upgrades along the way, and retiring from events that I simply could not do. In this fashion I was able to eventually get some better vehicles and upgrades and make great times on all the tracks.

I do love this game. I never leave feedback but I felt I enjoy it enough I should. The other reason im leaving feedback on the game is. It is different than most games. I feel I have played every other style of game out there. This one is different and its a good different. I dont feel im playing the same game just renamed like i do most of the time. I often go riding in the mountains and its a true passion of mine. When I cant go riding this is the next best thing.

Do I feel its a true sim? Its very close without real broken bones. I do see a few minor issues. But overall it is a game and getting a game this close when it comes to slow technical riding is a chore im sure. I do get stuck on a random small rock every once in a while that irritates me.

CyberGrid: Tower defense

the game has issues both core game-play and bugs, they are so strong i cannot recommend this game

they are

cons:

no tutorial

game feels like its in fast forward 2X

resource buildings die way to fast

towers die way to fast

home base dies to fast

size of structures are not present when building, making “cannot place that here” so annoying!

very small map

tower bullets we frozen mid-air when changing target

pros:

free

unique game

at its core its broken the only way to survive is to spam anything across the map without thought, because everything breaks in 1-2 seconds, placement does not matter, i survived to wave 24

Real player with 0.3 hrs in game

This game is not very good atm need improvements on all fronts there needs to be more than 5 buildings etc and upgrades hard at the start but learnable got to round 23 before losing by spaming the same tower over and over
