So After I bought the game I skipped singleplayer and went straight into multiplayer ( a no PVP server in survival mode )

as soon as I loaded in, i was AMAZED!

The graphics are better than what I had expected from looking at screenshots.

If you consider buying Rising World, you should inform yourself about it first. This is not different to other things - you wouldn´t buy a TV, car, etc. without first reading the Pro/Cons before, right?

Rising World is a game in development, in Alpha stadium. That means it is incomplete and every update can change the whole game experience.

The content of the game is currently “limited” to building. Why i set “limited” into paraphrases? Simply because the game is yet incomplete and still, in my opinion, the best building game out there.

Creeper, oh man

So we back in the mine, got our pick axe swinging from side to side,

Side, side to side

This task a grueling one,

Hope to find some diamonds tonight, night, night

Diamonds tonight

Heads up, you hear a sound,

Turn around and look up, total shock fills your body,

Oh no it’s you again,

I could never forget those eyes, eyes, eyes,

Eyes, eyes, eyes

‘Cause baby tonight,

The creeper’s trying to steal all our stuff again,

‘Cause baby tonight, you grab your pick, shovel and bolt again,

And run, run until it’s done, done,

Before all of the DLC’s arrived i loved this game , it was so simple yet so addicting

if your bored and want to play a quick game , go for it

but as of recently it makes you feel inferior to not buy a DLC , and on top of that the DLC isnt worth it.

it would be worth it if this game WASNT a demo of a paid demo. like having more ways to spend money like upgrading elevator speed , and how long you stay at one level , or a “refiner” and for every upgrade of your refiner each ore gains a bit more in cost . Or a minecart mini game were you are in a mine on a mine cart , there can be parts were the minecart is speeding and then slow parts so you can collect jewles and options to change you path\turn a couple times, it could be a nice and better twist on the regular old underground VR rollercoaster and it can be one of those game you make everyone try. this idea seems a bit iffy but you could even add a horror mode were the player is equiped with a flashlight (with actual shadows and limited field of light) and pickaxe in a huge cave and has to either mine their way out or find enough coal to start the mine cart or something like that. before a monster gets them . there could be places to hide and stuff like that.

Fossil Hunters

Fossil Hunters

I don’t like multiplayer games. When I play games, I play them by myself alone in a room with minimal human contact, I am a cretin.

Fossil Hunters has such a good understanding of what makes people work together that I honestly don’t mind it and it came as a pleasant surprise. When I play it with my friends it feels like we’re working as a team, taking on different jobs and actually helping one another out instead of finding ways to one-up each other. I was also impressed with just how polished the game is, especially considering my friends and I actively tried to break it only a few minutes after playing…

Pros

✓︎ Unique game concept.

✓︎ Possibility to switch between single and local multiplayer modes.

✓︎ High variety of fossil pieces.

✓︎ Interesting environments.

✓︎ Clear controls, adapting to the type of joypad used.

✓︎ Good graphics, with well done illustrations.

Cons

✕︎ Repetitive gameplay.

✕︎ Very punishing obstacles.

✕︎ No inventory or any mechanics to organise objects inside the base.

✕︎ Co-op can be played only on a single shared screen.

Fossil Hunters is an indie exploration puzzle game by Reptoid Games. The purpose of this game is to dig for and arrange together fossil pieces, creating dinosaur skeletons. It can be played alone, or by up to four players on a shared screen.

Astrox Imperium

Astrox Imperium

At the end of April, I gave my first positive impressions about this game after a relatively short time spent in the game. After many more hours of playing, I want to first of all convey my impressions to the creator of the game in order to improve the game and keep the interest of the players, and I want to explain to new players what to expect after 80+ hours spent in the game.

1. Most players will quickly master the basics of the game and will start earning big money doing missions relatively quickly. When they make money, the desire to earn that money in other ways stops (why do boring mining, trade, material refinery and fabrication when you have a lot of money, and everything you need can be bought in one of the systems?). Why e.g. to make warp fuel, weapons, rockets, ammunition or modules in the factory using blueprints, when you have so much money that you can buy it all. Of course, you will have to look for what you need, but after a few minutes of warping through the systems, you will find it for sure.

Love this game so far. Im only posting this review to negate the review i read from a player that said

(will be adding edits)

“Mission:

Obtain 2 Gemini Generic Tractors from a specific station then deliver to another station..

Seems simple enough..

Arrive at the pick up station..

There are no Gemini Generic Tractors here..

Unable to complete mission..

Nope…

Refund…”

The reason this player could not complete this mission was because they did not read the entire mission log

You are not purchasing these items to deliver to another location, this is not UBER EATS XD, the mission log specifically tells you to check the pick up stations storage location and get the items from there. When you go to the station storage if you see nothing be sure the correct filter at the top is set to display the correct items your looking for, for example “ALL” then you will find your items to take to the drop off location. I hate to think someone would ask for a refund for such a great game because they failed to understand the parameters of a mission. For the person that said this, give it another shot, the game is not broken. I hope this helps others in the future. I almost decided not to buy this due to that one comment, people dont realize how devastating 1 comment can be to the future of a game

Gude! Jump n Run

Gude! Jump n Run

This simple 2D glowing cat game is exactly what I was looking for. Simple, no storyline, just shining cats illuminating the dark and finding butterflies.

The good- easy to play, simple mechanics, very enjoyable.

The bad- There aren’t that many levels in this game. You might get at max 6 hours out of the game, but you will smile the whole time.

Real player with 0.9 hrs in game

Upon getting this game, I was confronted with an okay-ish platformer with a decent, if rough, control scheme.

Upon getting to the later levels of the game, I was confronted with ‘Com(m)ing soon’ for one of the levels. I assumed it was labeled such because I needed to collect the collectible butterflies (I was on 38/45 required at the time), but as it turns out, after collecting the butterflies? No, the level is still under construction.

This game has a single piece of music to its soundtrack, no sound effects, and frankly, is INCOMPLETE. While I could forgive the first two issues as being part of the game’s style and theme, the incompleteness means I can’t possibly recommend this. Nothing indicates that the game lacks all levels. There’s no warning on the store page, the game’s not in early access, so… what?

Miner: Dig Deep

Miner: Dig Deep

Although I’ve never made it all the way to the bottom, I’ve really enjoyed this game! I’m ready to take a break from it, but may come back to it later. I love the simple mechanics, but I do have one suggestion. I’ve noticed the rocks and resources are in the same places for each new game. If you could find a way to randomize each new game but keep the numbers and zones of resources and rocks essentially the same, you would have a truly world-class game. As a retired developer/tester, I can appreciate the effort that goes into software. If it’s infeasible to add this feature, I understand totally. I salute you!

I like mining games, and I didn’t think this one would keep me going for so long but 21 hours later and I’m still pottering away in my mine. Aside from some minor quibbles (while a stone will push you away if you’re only a little close to it, this same mechanic doesn’t happen on lifts from what I can tell and lifts don’t work after lvl 1000 - can’t tell if this is coming or if this is a feature of the game), I enjoy this. Wish it had some achievements, but that’s just me, lol.

The Sealed Ampoule

The Sealed Ampoule

An interesting variation on mystery dungeons.

The Sealed Ampoule is the newest game from CAVYHOUSE games and it is just as beautiful and strange as their other titles. Fans of mystery dungeons won’t find a ton of challenge here but it is a nice pared down experience, it’s pared down in that there is only the one dungeon and look of it doesn’t really change save for the ever shifting background colours, also while you do always start at the first floor your levels don’t reset and you accrue experience and stat upgrades that help each subsequent run. In another deviation from the usual mystery dungeon, there are no upgradeable weapons or clothing instead you upgrade the dungeon itself and your skillset. The characters are charming and while the story is simple it’s nice to solve a mystery.

Real player with 70.7 hrs in game

Like the other Cavyhouse games, this is a very aesthetic, weird and experimental game. If you played Forget me Not? It’s about twice as long and grindy. Still worth playing if you’ve liked other Cavyhouse games.

If you’ve not played something by Cavyhouse before… this would be a good starting point, as it’s the first one timewise? If you’re just looking for a roguelike, and have played a bunch of those this likely won’t be super interesting to you though. it’s fairly low stakes (die = resources lost and that’s about it), but there’s also not like weapon/armor upgrades. there’s just skills and upgrading the dungeon itself. And loot is all recovery items, tools or materials. If you want a very relaxed, and less complicated roguelike though? This may actually be a perfect fit for you.

its not what i expected. you dont get to run your own vet practice. you dont even get your own house or anything. very short game. not very fun.

Real player with 4.8 hrs in game

The devs have apparently never seen an American farm or talked to a real vet. The hillbilly music playing constantly in the background isn’t bad, per se (it’s pretty good, for what it is), but I don’t particularly like that style of music. And not everyone who lives in the country is a hillbilly, for gods sake. So why that music? If they added some alternate tracks, I’d be okay with it.

But the main problem is that it’s goofy. No vet would send an intern to scrounge around in the forest for “healing herbs” (which he can’t even identify) or let him be sidetracked into becoming a delivery boy for the local farmers. He’s ON THE CLOCK. Not to mention the fact that farmers don’t generally leave clumps of goat cheese and bottles of milk just lying around the farm to collect later.
