As he gets to know her better and finds out more details about her background, Sam becomes tormented by his own guilt and nostalgia. Linked by fate in a strange way, these two characters are brought together once again to support and heal each other during a rough time, without them even being aware of this.

Pros:

1. A matter of guilt and how one moves on with it. “Memories of East Coast” paints a story of how two lives collide with each other after an accident 15 years ago. Two parties with vastly differing ways on dealing with it. It doesn’t try to be the most complex thing out there, it just lets its simplicity show throughout the story. It’s melancholic and can be applied to the everyday person.

It might need a little bit of tweaking (at the time of this review), but I HIGHLY recommend this game!

The rules -

Ship hits mine, you go to the lifeboats (not too early or too late) and survive!

I’ve already both killed and survived my player time and again (including jumping off the props!) LOL

Enjoy! :)

While to game is a little buggy at times and there is some minor details missing, I thoroughly enjoyed it. You really do get a real feeling of impending danger and suspense. I hope the developer keeps refining and adding to this game as there isn’t much out there on the “forgotten” Olympic class sister. Recommended…

You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/H0tCFSIIXAo

This is an about 10 minute long, meditative experience through the Peruvian Andes Mountains. Where you basically teleport up a quick climb, see the scenic views, then sit at a campfire. There’s a narrator saying a prayer to the fire in English. You can also draw during this and then send your painting to the fire. That’s it basically.

Experience is running on the Unreal Engine. I was getting variable frame rates from 90 to frame rates in the 40s fps. The visuals were just okay and something that would be fine in a free to play experience. The ambient sounds were also just okay. While the narration was good and the musical score, that doesn’t exactly amount to a premium experience. There’s only teleport for the locomotion and the locomotion was not smooth (as it was difficult to turn in the direction you wanted).

Empowering meditative experience, highly recommended! Either if you are a an experienced or beginner meditator.

This 10-15min experience delves you into the visually-stunning site of Machu Pichu, where you follow a trail alongside a beautiful voice that guides you. The sun sets alongside the walk, creating delightful light effects. This visually rich experience guides you to release your fears and envision the life that you want.

Although some people may consider the experience short, the power of this piece stands on the intention you put on it. It is not about quantity of scenarios, it is about your sincerity when setting your intentions in front of the fire, to release what you don´t need and bring about the life that you envision.

Short but sweet. Charming, but at the same time, low-key depressing. The setting, the themes, the visuals, and the music all come together very nicely. The multiple endings and achievements add replayability, and coming back for more was well worth it. There’s some pretty deep and metaphorical stuff going on, which might hit home for many of you, I found it really touching too. Had a very pleasant experience. I don’t think the charm of this game is going to wear off of me for a long time, very memorable stuff.

I love it to pieces. Or should that be ‘I love it to fragments?'

If like me you’re a fan of Thirty Flights of Loving and Gravity Bones, you might be in the right place. One aspect I really loved about those was the light inventory management combined with something like a spy premise. There’s something so effective about an ‘augmented walking sim.’ Throw in as many varied and single-usage mechanics as you can and you birth something constantly engaging. Not the norm given how expensive a disposable approach to gameplay would make most games.

(Received this for free thanks to the thoughtful developer, after I provided a bunch of feedback during the ‘beta’. I had been planning to buy this on release and I think the asking price is just right!).

Absolutely stunning (highly realistic) environmental beauty, not just in visual fidelity but in sound, space, and spirit.

I’ve played and enjoyed a variety of ‘environment’ apps in VR, and none of them have impacted me like this. I’m on the Reverb G2, and these spaces feel so incredibly real I almost cried just looking out at the stars and moon from the desert landscape.

This is a great vr experience, my favorite worlds were the planet and the time lapse area. The guided meditation worked surprisingly well, especially with the humming interaction, that was awesome. The mixing of the voice kind of knocked me out of it though the more I heard it. I feel like it’s too present, too much low end EQ and not enough verb. It sounds like someone speaking right next to your ear when it might be more comfortable for it to sound like it’s coming from the heavens. And maybe some gentle effect that quickly ramps up into the voice to let you know you’re about to hear it so it’s less alarming when it starts. Comfort adjustments worked great, the strobing effect was super intense (which is a good thing, I’d rather have effects like that come in strong and be able to dial them back with settings). Great work, this is awesome and I look forward to what worlds you build next.

Kismet

Kismet

Kismet:

The human is race is an incredible species. From the day we experience gravity to the day we are transported into eternity, we keep learning and trying to position ourselves to create a bright future. However, sometimes we procrastinate when deciding which direction we should follow. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a little hint once in a while? I know, I need to pay a visit to the extraordinary Mrs Kismet; she’ll have the answer!

Kismet is a casual/atmospheric virtual reality fortune teller experience. At Mrs Kismet’s place, you can have your question(s) answered via a set of tarots cards, where you will have to pick three cards (past, present and future) out of the twenty-two from the deck. Then Mrs Kismet will explain the meaning of the cards and you will be the only one to interpret the answer to your question. If you are more inclined towards Astrology, then just put your date of birth in the calendar in front of you (on the table) and your astrology chart will be displayed and briefly explained on a daily basis if you desire. Otherwise, Mrs Kismet loves to play an ancient game called, “Royal Game of Ur” - a board game which was played in 2600 BC. Also known as “Asseb” in ancient Egyptian times, archaeologists found it in the pharaoh, Tutankhamen’s, tomb with a tablet which partially describes how the game was played. And now you have the privilege of enjoying it with your host, Mrs Kismet. Just mind-blowing, and a very nice touch!

Like the game's creator, I'm not much into the supernatural aspects of tarot, but I read the cards and find them an invaluable tool for instrospection. The reading in Kismet is very simple, but sufficient to create a compelling picture, and it works for what it sets out to accomplish.

It's also one of the more polished and charming titles I've picked up for the VIVE (and I have most of what's available). The character of Kismet is likable, the games are simple and fun, the music is great, and the inside of her little home has a lot of really nice details.

## There The Light

I can see this being one of those games that polarizes people - you're either the type of person who likes this kind of game or you're not. And if you're not, you're probably really going to dislike it.

Fortunately, I'm in the former category. I loved the "vibe" of this game. But more than that, I loved the feeling I experienced playing it. I come from the "walking simulator"/exploration game camp. I love games where I can explore, at my own pace, a place that has a lot to see and experience. I also like puzzles to an extent, and the puzzles in this were either simple (but somewhat meditative) or somewhat annoying (the circular ones). I didn't struggle too long with any of them, but I enjoyed some more than others, even if they weren't difficult. It felt like the point of the game wasn't the puzzles but more the experience as a whole.

_There The Light_ takes the player on a mystical journey through the abandoned ruins of a long lost civilization. The mystery of who these people were and what caused them to leave this world remains unsolved even after the end of the game, although there are hints indicating what actually happened. At the same time, the game leaves a lot of space for personal interpretation or various speculations, the story being conveyed solely through the numerous inscriptions and drawings that one can find on the walls of the surrounding temples. One thing is certain though: this advanced civilization left behind a series of puzzles and enigmatic mechanisms.

New Review:- There is no longer any Interior Access- The ship does break in half (you can see where the split will happen if you look closely at the floor board textures on the deck)- You can escape using the lifeboats, but staying on it as it launches takes some work.- After managing to stay on a lifeboat and watching the ship sink. I was dismayed to find that I still died because once the ship had sank, the lifeboat vanished and I dropped into the water.- The lifeboats are kind of to close now though (previous update)Some work has happened but not very much given the time period. Some problems fixed simply by removing them (eg Grand Staircase, which really is a feature that needs to stay in to create some feeling that you are actually on the Titanic). Instead of releasing a second title such as Britannic, maybe focus on working on this instead, polishing it and finishing it right. This could be so much more with some more elbow grease. For $2.00 though, its a negligible cost to satisfy curiosity. The ladders at the back is such an unauthentic bandaid however. Come on do it properly and rework the clipping. These ladders don't sink with the rest of the ship (and are still blue despite the update)You still can't move up or down the stairs that are just inside the little rooms, coz the hole in the floor isn't big enough.Still leaving it as not recommended at this point, not because I'm mean just because I also have the Titanic Honour and Glory demo installed, and that rocks. Will check back in another couple of years and see how this has progressed. Its not a lost cause by any means, but is still some time away from achieving its potential. Possibly a decade. Even Titanic Honour & Glory is not showing any sign of release anytime soon). Will happily change this review when it reaches a point of slickness, with some ambience (eg Band Music), may be even a few people (even if its only some crew). A few bodies in life jackets bobbing up and down in the water etc.Previous Review:Needs a lot of work!

## Lapso: NIMBO

_Nimbo: "flat circular device that emits some kind of light."_

Lapso: NIMBO is the prologue to a beautiful exploration puzzle game that will hopefully be released later this year.

Following the tracks of a hiker who mysteriously disappeared, we explore mysterious caves where we find strange drawings and constructs. We also have to solve a few puzzles to progress but nothing too hard as all the solutions can be found in the environment.

The least we can say is that the game is stunning and meticulous care was taken in its design as in the lights and sounds effects.

_Nimbo_ is the project of two Spanish developers, if I'm not mistaken. For now, it's a short prologue with a sci-fi mystery narrative. The story takes place in Rockrose about the mystery of some lights that haunt on the place. Our character Kali Müller decides to go to the place to investigate about the nature of the enigmatic lights. He will be surprised to find a cavern with strange objects, out-of-this-world artefacts, and writing that he has never seen before. In the game there are some documents and photographs with an interesting text as clues to unveil the mystery of the appeared lights. Well, —I confess that I really liked the narrative of the game in Spanish. It has been a long time since I read or played anything in Spanish—. Despite being a short game, it offers a promising atmosphere of mystery throughout. That reminds me a bit of game in the part of the caverns: _The Forest_. The aesthetics of the game play on a harmonious combination of chiaroscuro between the nature of the earth with the technology and alien writing. That can be seen with the waterfall or the caverns and the luminous writing in various parts of the place. The development of the plot appears to be linear, because sometimes it teleports us from one place to another in the shape of the branches of a tree. There will always be a node connection between each branch of our journey. Not only attracts the storytelling and aesthetic aspect of the game. Those logical nodes of the narrative occur in the teleport jump. The effect of that: an almost filmic showing of the game. What unites these jumps or scene changes is the solution of a puzzle within the game. The puzzles are simple, but interesting, with the appearance of interacting with strange technology. All that is in our way will be the clues to solve the mystery locked in Rockrose. That combination of modest phosphorescence, a minimalist-ambient music and the dark colour of earthly nature, the developers offer an interesting and promising game proposition. With simple and affordable game mechanics, as well as a visual design that captures our attention at all times. We hope to know more about this interesting game.
