GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon
So, my first thought about this game was: “Hold up, Konami’s making games again?!”
Second thought was: “….and it’s a niche title and NOT a more recognised name.”
Third thought was: “…. and sh!t, it’s quite good! Even for early access! You guys OK down there at Konami HQ? Just that you’re acting like…… well NOT Konami.”
…In all seriousness though, taking the rogue-like approach to a metroidvania title is an interesting spin, and fundamentally, it works well. Gameplay leans heavily towards being more tactical and methodical than it does being stylish and fast. And since you have limited ways of healing, you’re forced to consider how best to dispatch your enemies while taking as few hits as possible. It’s not quite dark souls, just enough to keep you thinking.

Writing this review while playing the v0.4.10 update (Nov. 4th 2021), and the game is in Early Access so take the review with a grain of salt upon further updates. I like this game and can’t wait to see how it evolves but at this stage I do not recommend anyone buying it right now, wait until it is fleshed out and hopefully perfected.
PROS:
-
Beautiful artstyle, boss intros are honestly to die for and sometimes have me rewatching em cause they are so pretty.
-
Good music that is nice but doesn’t get stuck n your head in a grating way.

Gods Will Fall
I will say this right off the bat this game is definitely not for everyone. This is not diablo don’t play if you cannot stand losing or think this is a simple button masher. (WARNING: This game was designed for a controller, although it is not impossible to play with a keyboard it will take practice, dont hesitate to reconfigure the keys to something you are comfortable with)
The basic premise is you have 8 randomly generated warriors and 10 gods to kill, to kill one you must choose one warrior to control and traverse the dungeon of said god and then face him in combat, be warned once inside there are only three endings. Victory, capture or death. The catch however is that on each playthrough the strength of the boss will vary each time, the boss that was super easy in your first playthrough might be the strongest in the next one, worst of all you have no way of knowing until you send someone inside and once inside there is no backing out.

A challenging game full of charm and atmosphere. Note: I bought this on special with 40% off.
I finished Gods Will Fall last night and was pleasantly surprised at the fun journey I had just had. I bought this game despite the mixed reviews because I saw something in the trailers that just clicked with me and I think a lot of the negative reviews are there because the game isn’t what most gamers were expecting.
Yes the game has rogue-like elements and dare I say it, is a little souls like, but over all I think the game sets out to do it’s own thing in a way that put some players off because again, they weren’t expecting it.

Letande vs. crappy Russian RPGs! Round 999! FIGHT!!! Seriously, though. When it’s about crappy Russian (also, Ukrainian) role-playing games, I’m a freakin' veteran. I’ve played and finished pretty much everything there was – from Заклятие (Spells of Gold) to Талисман (Talisman, an RPG in Slavic setting from 2003, not to be confused with German point-and-click adventure from 1995 and Nomad Games' adaptation of Game Workshop’s tabletop game). To be honest, though, I didn’t expect any new games of the kind. I mean, something like that? It was possible only during the very certain time period. A period, when majority of the Russian people didn’t have access to Internet connection and it was possible to sell pretty much any crap to them for the price of proper products. Games like Орда: Северный Ветер (Horde: Northern Wind) were possible only because there was no YouTube to show people what they’ll actually get for their money. The more accessible Internet became – the less of such games we’ve got. The lest one of the kind I’ve played was, I believe, Ukrainian Заговор Тёмной Башни (Dark Tower Conspiracy, AKA Dungeon Quest) in 2006. After that? All those wannabe developers switched to mobile games. Which are not nearly as fun to suffer through.

Well, I have no idea who made English translation , but he must be executed.
For rest of the game - world and soundtrack combined are TASTY , pleasure for my eyes and ears for this price. Blood is shameful though, combat - found it funny, but only for 3 hours not more.
7/10 for Indie like that. Trash cause of translation, but good enough for that money and I still understood the story.

Mad Devils
I’ve had an awesome time playing Mad Devils so far! The plot is really interesting and I can’t wait to restart in Inferno Mode. My favourite characters are Chester and Harris so far, and the boss fights are brutal. If you’re a fan of Diablo 3 or Dark Souls, this game definitely scratches that itch. Haven’t hit any bugs so far. Just remember you can use your Blood Shards and XP points in the Pause Menu to upgrade your characters, it’s a lifesaver!

This indie developed game has very faded washed out graphics, repetitive dull combat, no mini-map to show where you are going, no way to rotate the camera, and frame rate issues as well. Camera movement is also sluggish and stuttery, most likely due to the crap Unity engine the game runs on. The game also flashes to the desktop briefly every time a new level is loaded. Your character also seems to get stuck on everything in your path and every level looks the same, taking place mostly in outdoor fields surrounded by lava. A similar game that is MUCH better is Victor Vran. I would much rather play Victor Vran than this game any day.

Undead Pixel Monks Adventure
Fight dangerous and terrifying enemies, explore a dreamlike world, interact with its strange inhabitants, and uncover the truth. Undead Pixel Monks Adventure is a 2D action-adventure game set in a fantasy world inspired by Japanese mythology and philosophy.
Welcome to Mushin Monastery. Deeply respectable monks once lived here. I expected they would enter Nirvana after their physical deaths, but it does not look like they found peace.
Their bodies still roam this place today. What’s worse, something is stirring in the caves under the mountain. I fear that even the ancient mummified monks have started moving.
These creatures are mostly driven by instinct. But in the case of these monks, they had so much self-discipline in life that their old daily habits are still ingrained now. I believe that’s why they still light the lanterns at night and sit in the meditation posture.
Don’t underestimate them. They’re skilled fighters.
Stonescape
I couldn’t say enough to properly convey my utter disappointment in a game that I am feeling right now writing this review. I will not go on a rant and sound too whiney. Stay away, maybe put it on your watchlist and see if they add something worthwhile, currently its a creative mode game with 21 building blocks to choose from. The lag is real with this game.

F**** NO not worth it, so many other games cheaper that are worth mine and your time. No game options at all, you get new game, continue and quit. When you are collecting stone with pickaxe the only item you have with no inventory your fps drops down to 6 fps for a short moment. So you collect stone and build that’s the whole game.

The Spirit
Played a fair amount of the game and shows tremendous promise, if you’re a fan of a the Diablo series or into rogue-likes this one is for you. Graphically pleasing to the eye and immersive levels keep you invested! The game is promising with much more to come!

All right so I will say this, I do recommend this game. I would like to see a few changes to enhance the fun and difficulty of it. 1. The enemies need a buff, I really only had a challenge at the very end of the game. 2. the save for equipped weapons and items needs to be fixed, not game breaking because you find enough loot to replace them. I did have fun and it was entertaining, and for the price you cant really ask for more. The game is overall short, but again fun, so that is what matters. I want to see more from Dark Faction Games!

First of all, yes i recieved this product for free. In fact, i was supporting the developer from the very beginning, so yea you might think that i’m biased or something like that but I surely do not feel that way.
I really like how this game looks like right now. And the best part is that you know what you’re buying just from watching a trailer above. The game might seem too hard at the start but once you grasp the combat you will be able to beat its content and enjoy it as much as I did. The gameplay is fluid, fun, and difficult. It really does feel satisfying to know how to handle different types of enemies and how to dodge boss attacks at the end of the way, so if you have a thing for that type of gameplay like i do, i’m sure you’re gonna love this fairly short, but fun game. Both art and music of this game are amazingly well done and i’m really happy to see this game finally arrive to steam.

You should play this game at least for this handdrawn graphics. They’re containing soul. But this game also has a ton of different tight mechanics to play around. Combat system might seem easy enough at first, but as you buy more items you eventually come to realise that it’s deeper than you thought it was.
While not having much of a story, the game is filled with quite a lot of little stuff in almost everything - animations, sounds, music, texts and even icons - and it creates an unique atmosphere when combined together, that cannot be described in a single word, or even sentence. It’s subtle yet it’s everywhere.

Arkadia is an unrefined world set centuries after a disease has destroyed humanity. To survive humans went into hiding, banding together in the darkness to create factions all their own. Now humanity has returned to rebuild civilization with the help of their cruel and sometimes malicious gods. The wilds of Arkadia are divided between five tribes: The Noctua, Ferox, Leifield, Nil Garden, and Marmis. Each group has its own quirks, beliefs, and reasons for division but all tribes fear and worship the same technology possessing Gods.
