Doomsday Vault is a puzzle platforming adventure that’s super chill, with a really nice soundtrack and lovely art style. The difficulty definitely ramps up over time, which is a nice and welcome challenge. I like that it isn’t super hard from the start, so you’re able to slowly learn and get used to the mechanics. The customization for the lil space suit is super cute; I have a bunch of fun updating it.

I think this game is suitable for gamers of all ages; I can see kids having a good time with this as well, although it might get a bit challenging in the later stages.

Everything I expected, and I expected to like it!

Game themed ambiance while I work! I think this is one step closer to making real life as video-game-esque as possible, so I fully support this effort.

Pencil Fantastic

Pencil Fantastic

Pencil Fantastic is the perfect amalgamation of unbridled creativity and structured imagination. Akin to incessant hammer-strikes against red-hot steel, the developers bellow the flames of improvement day in and day out, heating their homes with strained GPU’s (and the drive of their passion) as they forge the new standard of cerebral application. The force behind the single line drawing mechanic rides in parallel to the vision of this wonderful, evolving paragon; forward unto dawn upon a river of endless possibility. You will hear the clarion call of inspiration as Mr. Fantastic glides across the screen (whilst subverting his own desires) to channel your pure emotion into a work of art. How you answer that call will determine any & all fortune within this realm of innovation.

This game is more like music creation software. It is not meant to be a game apparently and should not be on the Steam platform. Don’t bother

Blocks Stacking

Blocks Stacking

A simple game that is not demanding on system resources. It’s possible to control using the keyboard or gamepad. The gameplay mechanics are pretty clear. Hope the developers will release various updates in the future.

A good game, I can recommend it to fans of puzzles. There are 4 levels of difficulty, quite an interesting idea and visualization (blocks, cubic world). I think this game is quite worthy of attention

Clawfish

Clawfish

Very fun/relaxing game. My first playthrough took me 52 minutes for all achievements. After my first play I did a few more plays and found there are several ways to softlock the game, and without a save feature, they force a full game restart to fix. Here’s the ones I found:

1. Clicking the tokens before they all fell caused the token machines to be completely broken

2. Hitting Esc before the fish fell on the last claw attempt on the last fish caused the train to break and never arrive

3. I’m honestly not sure what I did wrong, the game just wouldn’t let me interact with anything at all

Great little game to spend an evening on. Great art style and interesting game mechanic. As soon as I saw the concept of a fishing game, but through a claw machine I instantly bought it. However, I do have some issues with the game. I wish the game had a bit more substance to it.

For example, the fish could have their own traits and the claws could get more unique per station. Also the fact that after beating the game there isn’t a New Game + with the mysterious man fixing the broken machines to function as extra levels is a real shame. I also ran into some bugs with the fish’s AI. quite often they would get stuck in the corners of the tanks and would cause me to restart the game which was a big pain due to there being no save function in the game. Overall, I think the game was definitely worth the $2.99. Great way to relax with a new game.

CLIMB OUT!

CLIMB OUT!

Pretty fun game for so cheap. Got 3rd place on my first try.

The controls are nice - kinda feel more like a certain webslinger than a cave climber but whatever. Would be better if you could climb off a wall and onto the floor without needing to hit jump but that’s an ignorable caveat. The music is creepy and the ever encroaching lava makes it so that you can’t sit still for long. The cave generation is pretty neat. You have to be a little careful with which path you take or be able to back track quickly if you made the wrong choice. The shifting lighting and creepy “tick-tock-countdown” music was a nice touch.

Wow it gets addictive once you get used to the controls. You begin to learn new ways to swing and propel yourself faster leading to a more skillful climb away from the lava. I also like when you hit a dead end you must go all out to find another path. For such a low price you really can’t go wrong with it and it’s fun to play on my downtime between games. I like leader boards too :D

Great classic game!

Thumbs Up!

Halloween Trouble 2

Halloween Trouble 2

This is ok as a basic match 3 game. Unfortunately, it introduces many new game elements after level 9 with absolutely no explanation and no clear way to deduce what they mean, how they work, or how to play them. A simple icon/mechanics glossary page would be a simple solution. Or even a manual, but I know such archaic things as how-to-play documents are now anathema to game designers (or publishers).

I f you like Match 3 you’ll enjoy this game…fun story and it has a good mix of mini-games too. The music is appropriate and I LOVE the piano!
