This was a very tough call for me on whether to recommend it or not. At the end of the day, I decided there just wasn’t enough here to recommend the game. It’s not a bad game. It’s nice for what it is. This is a very simple arcade street fighter for VR where you can punch, kick (via button push), dodge, or block.

UPD: the game was hugely improved with latest update, but it’s still not good enough to recommend. I crossed out fixed problem from the cons list.

Fighting Clans rcadey VR brawler with few glaring issues.

Pros:

  • With all its flaws, the gameplay is still fun: the game does boxing way better than Creed. Hitboxes are more or less appropriate, overall combat feels almost as good as in Virtual Fighter Championship(which is not great, but serviceable)

Cons:

  • In-game hands are extremely bad. They not aligned with real life on Oculus Touch and have very limited reach, that makes hooks real pain in the ass. Also the stance is weird: character’s elbows are spread very wide, so they don’t seem to protect the body at all

Pretty good game! but there’s a problem I have with it. I accidentally changed the language from English to a different language and I can’t switch it back. Still a great game though.

I know I’ll get fitter playing this game.

What the hell is a burpee? What is this one handed push-up nonsense? Squats I’m good with, running is fine, jumping without hands above my head is great. Punching the discs is fine. The points system is mad, I couldn’t compete in a points table in this unless there’s a dad-bod mode tiered system for middle-aged e-sport leagues.

This game has taught me much about my fitness levels. 1) I’m not fit enough to complete 30 minutes inside this game with a high score. 2) it doesn’t matter, because even if I do half of what the game is asking of me, I’m still moving and that’s an improvement on sitting on my arse at the desk.

5/5! Great improvements, new features, and updated songs, thank you!

VALVE Index Users:

  1. NO BURPIES! NO JUMPING, NO SHOES, SLOW TRANSITIONS B/W POSITIONS – unless your cables are suspended from above.

  2. Wear the controllers like wrist watches.

  3. Wash/disinfect your face gasket regularly. Steam Support recommended warm water or 15-30% alcohol wipes.

I’ve been playing this since it came out. I love this game so much that, even though I bent/broke my cable, Steam sent me a new cable and I still love this game!

Punch Club

Punch Club

Ah… Punch-club. A once in a life time time opportunity to become town’s boxing champion with nothing to back you but your fists… and your elbows, feet, magic amulets and Chinese Master Splinter’s wise teachings.

The game is a strange mixture between a “point and click” and a fighting management game that works better than it sounds! You start as a young wanna-be martial artist in a retro environment and through training and fighting other people in legal and illegal fights you try to become the number one. Two things obviously make this game unique. First, its wacky story, filled with nostalgia moments and movie/game references that most people will immediately recognize, and its mechanics.

Punch Club is branded as a tycoon management game with simulation and RPG mechanics. While that is not neccesarily a lie or a shady way of representing what the game really is, I personally view is as a casual coach simulation game. You are both the main protagonist’s personal trainer when it comes to fitness and training, and coach when it comes to selecting which skills should he use in combat or learn as he improves. It is your task to guide him in his quest to become a world-renowned fighter and discover who killed his father and why.

Has all the makings of a really bad 80s action movie flick:

Graphics: 5/10 - Although creates a realistic environment it isn’t the prettiest looking game and kind of reminds me of the getaway from the ps2 era if it was set in the eastern bloc. Had a few clipping issues and my character had his arm wrapped around him after one of the fights. For a game to pride on melee needs things like blood/bruising to make it look authentic.

Street karate 3

Street karate 3

A very interesting Walking game with an equally interesting soundtrack. The game is similar to games from consoles from the 2000s. But this is only a plus-the game causes a lot of nostalgia. Despite the genre of “indie”, this game can kill several of your hours.

We will play as a karate player who will have to fight a large number of opponents exceeding his strength, but we will have at our disposal additional weapons, such as rebar or knives. In addition to the usual throws, jumps, grabs, our hero has a combo punch with which you can scatter opponents in a circle.

The game will please the drawn graphics and cool soundtrack.

PowerBeatsVR - VR Fitness

Updated Review:

I’ve had this game since April and I still play it 5 times a week.

Pros:

*It is one hell of a full body workout. You will be lunging, crouching, punching, reaching, dodging, and just all around moving

*It is fun, not quite as fun as beat saber, but it is significantly more fun than BoxVR

*The developers are out-freaking-standing. They are the most responsive devs I have ever seen. They try to find a way to accomodate every request they get if they can. Even if they can’t, they are super friendly about it.

I’m very much enjoying including PowerBeatsVR into my daily exercise routines. If I was able to incorporate my own favorite music it would quickly become my favorite VR software. For now Audio Beats holds that place, but this doesn’t detract from the lure of being able to smash large boulders with only my fist in PowerBeatsVR. With the future improvements mentioned, I think this will be something important to keep my interest in keeping fit.

I would not want to see the scoring system changed in any significant way. I’m used to this, I know I have to be perfect in order to get the higher scores. I wouldn’t like it if the game was “dumbed down” in order to make reaching the higher levels easier to accomplish. Reaching the number 1 spot is the goal, and it wouldn’t mean very much if I found out I reached this level because the game had been altered to make it easier to do so. I don’t think it should necessarily be made artificially any more difficult either, but certainly don’t make it easier.

The game is incredibly janky but it has a lot of charm.

The writing is translated and needs a lot of work.

The gameplay is VERY simple but rewarding when you actually nail the rhythm.

At the price, it is pretty good.

Мне понравилась игра. Она может спасти вас например, когда нету интернета, или все друзья оффлайн. В ней можно расслабиться. Я подобные игры не очень люблю, но эта - исключение.

Рекомендую скачать.
