Orphan Age
Orphan Age is a life-sim game where you look after a band of orphans in a cyberpunk warzone.
Set against the backdrop of an unforgiving, neon-lit dystopian warzone, your only battle is the fight for survival, scraping out a living in the face of extreme danger. You will guide a band of orphans, each with their own skills, emotions, strengths, weaknesses and fears, through a dangerous and ever-changing city in a bitter struggle for survival. Constantly balancing risk and reward, you must make the big decisions to ensure the group stays alive. Build up your base, scavenge, craft and explore the city for new recruits, whilst ensuring there are enough supplies to keep going, even when it seems all hope might be lost.
Orphan Age plays as a single player campaign with a lot of replayability inspired by the 4X genre. But there’s a twist! 4X stands for Exploration, Exploitation, Expansion and Extermination. In Orphan Age, we replace Extermination with Empathy, bending the 4X genre into a 4E.
The city of Orphan Age is ever-changing and procedural. You won’t find the same building twice. There are high risks and high rewards when you explore. You can find rare resources, Orphans to recruit, but you can also get wounded or worse…
Exploration is similar to the expeditions of Fallout Shelter: procedural text adventures. They offer more complexity though, because you have to make decisive choices while you’re out of the orphanage.
Hundreds of resources are left to be scavenged in the Orphanage or in the city. They are classified in 6 categories that allow you to eat, drink, take care of wounds and to craft the items and resources you need to build your Orphanage.
The Orphanage is the place your Orphans call home. The environment surrounding the Orphans greatly affects their moods. Try to keep the rooms lit, warm, furnished and clean for the happiness of all!
There are 38 different items of furniture to build (beds, playgrounds, science mats, campfire, heaters…) and each one can be upgraded.
Research allows you to discover better furniture and improve living conditions for the orphans.
Orphan Age is a deep micro-simulation making each Orphan unique in personality and in gameplay. The Orphans have different ages, set of skills, backgrounds and personality traits. Depending on who they are and how well they are, the Orphans will take different paths anytime there is an issue to be discussed.

So I left this review simmering for far too long - and I have been admittedly fraudulent in not giving an update. However, I will say that I’m glad I waited as long as I did, because there is literally not enough good things to say. Am I writing a review for a completed game? Absolutely not. However, I’m reviewing a game that at its current state is 100% playable and enjoyable.
I’ll begin by correcting the claims from my prior review - the economy is now stable and effective, the gameplay is devoid of all major bugs, with the minor ones being easily self correctable with no negative impact to the progression. For an assembly style game, the aesthetic feels great, the engine is not taxing on the computer, and the overall assembly process feels great with plenty of room for individual optimization and creativity.

As much as I’ve played this game, after all said and done, I just wish it had more content to keep you invested, but it is in Alpha and this is one to keep an eye on if you like this style of game as the developers release patches and content consistently. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game for the first 20 hours or so but it became extremely repetitive once you optimized certain production lines and did all the research possible.
The bones of this are good, the graphics are great, and there’s something extremely satisfying about tweaking a manufacturing line until it’s optimized, then further adding other producting lines and having certain machines do the work of both lines so you can eliminate waste (i.e, having 2 lines use the same sewer/zipper, etc.

This War of Mine
I really love this game! I waited a long time to play it but it was worth the wait! The game is hard as h*ll I have played and lost more times then I can count but I finally made it to the end the other night I was shocked and disappointed because I had no clue that it would end that quick! I was not happy about that at all but in general I really love this game. The makers of this game did a great job!

This War Of Mine ..
what an extraordinary experience i went through !!
it’s a simulation to the reality that i lived in RL !!
at the start there’s a sign says " F The War "
totally F war and all who agreed to end people’s lives !
we’ve lost many people neighbors friends family’s members even !!!
man there are too many families vanished from the existing !!
it’s not a game to have fun with !! it’s a phase that you test yourself that :
" what kind of human you are ? "
Every soul matter .
in addition i recommend you all to buy the " charity DLC " to support war children .

Black Skylands
This is a hearty thumbs up from me- it’s a great adventure game, with a story that fits the purpose well. Includes airship combat, which you can think of pirate-navy stuff- replete with upgrades, various ships, etc. Big open world, and everything you go out to do feels like a grand adventure. I think this one is going to be a home-run when it’s fully finished.
Here’s the caveat- it is modestly buggy right now. Not severe, but you’ll probably hit a few snags. Big open world games are like that, and it’s good that they’re taking an EA period, because at the moment, it’s a very, very cool game- with bugs.

The game concept is good and has a lot of potential. I just list down what I don’t like about this game after 2-hour gameplay and hopefully it will be fixed or improved in the future. Maybe what I mentioned below will be unlocked as I proceed the game.
- The developer said this game is the mixed of stardew valley and bioshock theme. However, I’m into the game for nearly 2 hours but the farming is no where near Stardew Valley. No season, no watering, just simple click for growing and harvesting crop (?). Maybe it will unlock more features as I proceed.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
With 200+ hours on this account for this game; I’ll make it quicker than I want it to be and I’ll be providing a TL;DR at the bottom.
This game is beautiful. No, not just because of the graphics since that does not make a game great. I’ll admit that being made in 2007: the graphics do hold very well to this very day. I’m talking about how the game feels to play, how much lore that you can unfold in this game and a very important point I will bring up later on.
The game itself is very easy to pick up and learn the basics such as what units do what, what your base does and many other things. As you progress through the story; you’ll meet bonus objectives that you can complete for a different medal at the end (great for you completionists). The campaigns can have some very challenging moments for newer players but it will make you do what you’re supposed to do: Come up with a strategy to win.

1995… A game named Command and Conquer appeared… and paved the way for an entire genre. It’s a name that many RTS veterans should be familiar with. The franchise had its ups and downs throughout the years. 2007, the long awaited sequel of Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun appears. Has it passed the test? Let’s see…
Visually, the game is downright gorgeous, even for today’s standards. You can tell at first glance, whether the map is situated in a still pristine Blue zone, a conflict-torn Yellow zone or in an almost unearthly Red zone. The units are also well designed and their appearance alone tells something about the respective faction. Topped off with non-excessive and neat special effects, the visuals give a good impression.

Fimbul Winter
Absolutely broken game, they need to call it what it is, Log Chopping Simulator. Definitely worth the price though.
– Real player with 1.4 hrs in game
I paid .27 cents USD for this in a bundle. I want to love this game as the concept is there. A rather hunky and shirtless hermit has to survive Fimbulwinter. The final winter before Ragnarok. You start off with some goats, some hay for the goats. Some firewood and an ax to chop it with.
Your wolf, I’m guessing fylgia, will lead you if you press F. Most of the time. I made it through several days of chopping wood and lighting fires. Feeding goats and following my fylgia. The game does show a lot of promise as the draugr apparently can teleport right over to your little cabin.
