The Plane Effect Prologue
The game runs pretty smoothly, graphics are great. Even though this is just the first 30minutes of the whole game, I think the developers did a great job. I was slightly bit disappointed when I found out you couldn’t edit the in-game volume; this is just a demo so that doesn’t really matter. For anybody else who is reading this, you can turn the camera in all four angles for a better view. you just have to use the number keypad which is on the right side of most keyboards. and don’t forget to “buy buy buy"a game reference-

Where do I even begin. This game is not only a masterpiece. I just might have grown a bit taller after playing this and i don’t mean my height. HHAHAHA. Yes I wouldn’t say it was an easy game but for normal people they are gonna have a hard time. The metaphors not only emphasize how lonely I am but how depressed as well. Yes in every scene a new metaphor for our existence is brought to life. Yes. And i think I was married before this game but now I have no kids, NO wife. My brain hurts. HELP ME! But yeah, crazy, scary game that makes me want to question my existence agaain. AGAIN

AHH!!! MazeZing
In this first person game you traverse a procedurally generated maze. Before you get to traverse the maze you get a quick view of it. There are maps scattered around the maze if you need another look at it. Be careful though as this maze isn’t what it seems.

Blind Postman :: sliding tiles, collectable objects, straight line movement :: slide your way to the end of the level while collecting mail. It’s tricky when movable posts get involved as well. 6/10

Doomsday Vault
A great exploring game with fun tasks and an important message. Lots of nice puzzles to solve with a great atmospheric style!

Doomsday Vault is a puzzle platforming adventure that’s super chill, with a really nice soundtrack and lovely art style. The difficulty definitely ramps up over time, which is a nice and welcome challenge. I like that it isn’t super hard from the start, so you’re able to slowly learn and get used to the mechanics. The customization for the lil space suit is super cute; I have a bunch of fun updating it.
I think this game is suitable for gamers of all ages; I can see kids having a good time with this as well, although it might get a bit challenging in the later stages.

ENDLESS BECOMING - APARTMENT
This is less of a game and more of a ground to find feelings. Personally I’ve experienced multiple emotions from this game, everything ranging from sadness, longing, nostalgia, unease, and dread. I love games like this, games that play off of Liminal Spaces and forgotten memories; feelings that can only be described during a state of loneliness so absolute, that you get this feeling as if the ground underneath you could split open and swallow you at any moment and no one would ever know.
While i don’t recommend this game to everyone I found it as a relaxing and Beautiful reflection of feeling.

Played on HP Reverb G2
Although WMR isn’t officially supported, I was feeling too lazy to hook up another headset, so I gave it a try. The Oculus control scheme matched the Reverb G2 perfectly. The application is exactly what it says- a virtual art installation and a walking simulator. The environment was interesting, artistic, and well designed. A lot of the elements were repetitive, but there was enough variation to keep my interest. It also had plenty of in-game menu options to tweak controls, audio, video, etc. If you enjoy casual VR experiences, this is worth the download.

Fantoccini
Confusing, bewildering, nonsensical and not particularly scary. Save your money.

Pretty good game. It was for sure weird but was interesting and gave some good scares. I only wish it gave more direction on what to do cause if you are stuck on something there are no hints or anything to help you out. Overall for the price I would say it’s worth checking out. Flat Earth Simulator
My first impressions were positive with a beautiful model, pleasant narration along soothing ambient music.
-
It would have been great to zoom in more and see cities mapped onto the model from high altitude photos.
-
The Sun and Moon are different sizes, they should be about the same.
-
The Sun and Moon orbits are locked.
-
No Moon phases or eclipses present.
-
No Tropic of Cancer or Tropic of Capricorn sun orbit paths for seasons.
-
Stars seem random rather than actual mapped stars along with correct movements over the plane.

Garbage.
No way to change display/sound settings in game, must quit and re-launch. No option to not have the really slow narrator read everything to you, instead you must mute it, hide the text, and then press space to open it with the full text visible for anyone who can read faster than a third grader, the text is poorly written with many grammatical mistakes and quirks that make it hard to understand, the information being presented raises more questions than it answers, and the clues that pop up every few minutes make no sense and don’t actually lead to anything.
