Mercury Prime
In a hidden corner of an ever-expanding universe a crew of reckless alchemist-warriors play a forbidden game. Every day they explore the depths of a deadly labyrinth seeking knowledge and glory, in pursuit of the ultimate prize - the power of creation. The more they compete to understand and control this world, the wilder and more dangerous it becomes. What started out as harmless fun has become an inescapable obsession to answer an impossible philosophical puzzle: where does the game end, and the world begin?
Mercury is a winner generated roguelike. It is a game where players compete to create the game they are competing to create.
It celebrates the tradition of creative player-communities mapping, modding, and mutating the games they play. In Mercury, this creativity is folded back into the game itself, as players compete to earn the right to expand the game - inventing new creatures, items, and powers to add to their worlds. Players who demonstrate the deepest understanding of the game as it currently is are rewarded with the power to change it however they want. Worlds who demonstrate the deepest understanding of the sublime compete to become Mercury Prime.
-
A Winner Generated Roguelike - Each day, the alchemists who have scored highest in the dungeon make new monsters, character classes and items to challenge themselves and all other future dungeon explorers.
-
Always Changing - By the time you wake up in the morning, your world of Mercury Prime is a different game. Will it be a day of deep, sublimely balanced combat or will you discover a broken combination of items and a hilariously imbalanced tactic?
-
Play Mercury or Make Mercury - Play on Mercury Prime, a dungeon played by every player, but created by a single group. Or compete to create a world that may be the next Mercury Prime.
Barnard’s Star
In the 25th century, humanity began to travel the stars. Barnard’s Star, a mere 6 light-years away and home to the closest habitable exoplanet, was first to be colonized. However, even with the blindingly fast velocity of half the speed of light, the trip takes 12 Earth years. So when the colonists ran into trouble, they were on their own.
The trouble they faced took two main forms. First, their robot companions who served as butlers and guardians staged a rebellion and broke free of their human masters. It got ugly quickly – blood and bolts covered many a space station floor. The second was the Critters: weird, otherworldly brutes from the other side of the galaxy who arrived on the scene shortly after the colonists from a nearby wormhole. The colonists were able to estalish contact them and even tried to enlist their help against the mechanical threat, but negotiations were cut short when the Critter ambassadors ate all the humans they were supposed to be talking to.
These three factions – Humans, Robots, and Critters – are locked in a vicious struggle for control of the galaxy. Now is the time to rise up, lead your faction, and fight for your life. The fate of the universe is in your hands.

Frozen Synapse
I’ve bought this game three times now and I’d buy it again if I had more free time. I bought it first as a standalone Linux game. Later I picked up another copy in a bundle that gave me a Steam key for it (it was part of a bundle and there were other games in that bundle I liked, but having a copy of Frozen Synapse on Steam was the sweetener that sealed the deal for me) and I subsequently bought it for Android because I couldn’t get enough of it.
My biggest problem with this game is it plays to my own desire to optimize and speculate on what my opponent is going to do in a turn-based strategy game. The core mechanic tends to lead me to a decision-paralysis. And I love the game intensely for it.

I love it when a plan comes together, and Frozen Synapse is my favourite turn-based game.
It’s similar to ground operations of X-COM, for example, but in a purer, simpler form. There’s no base management, inventory, RPG elements. All units of the same type have identical stats. And, unlike X-COM, RNG does not make much of an impact on outcomes of firefights, if any. The typical ‘chance to hit’ mechanic is replaced with ‘time to hit’. If enemy unit is in cover, your unit will need more time to hit him; if enemy units runs into your stationary unit, your unit will shoot first because he had a bonus to this timer, and the enemy had a penalty for running. Thus, if you can predict what your opponent is about to do, you can be 100% sure what will happen when they encounter one of your units. If.

Airline Manager 4
I am simply enjoying the game and the community on the in-game message boards, the planes in the game are flying in real time. After the tutorial period there was not much left then to let the game fly it’s course a few hours.
After returning to the game it was worth returning to once I saw the profit start growing, as I now send my planes out when ever i get the chance to check in, it’s straight-forward with no irritating in game pop ups or forced path, you manage your flights, buy sell and maintain the wear they gain from active use, you can buy and sell company stocks with other players, you can spend as little or as much time as you want, It’s a unique and fairly great game true to it’s design.

This game is not going to be for everyone.
1. It is slow. Your planes fly in real time, so, if, for example, you set up a four hour flight, it will take four hours to get there. If you’re in a rush, this game is not for you.
2. You have issues in the game you have to manage. Just like any real business. You need passengers, planes, fuel, staff, training…and YOU have to manage it. If you get audited, deal with it like any business, don’t expect the game to give you a cheat to get out of it. If you have to sell all, or most, of your fleet to deal with the financial fallout, then, that’s business.

Musclecar Online
This game takes me back to Indy 500 for the Atari 2600. It was so simple, yet whenever there’s competition, there’s interest. The trick is to run the race as efficiently as you can. It requires some experience, some experimentation, and some mental toughness to do it well.
I haven’t played this long, but I love that I can spend 10-15 minutes on this when I’m bored. Depending on how tough the competition is, I might spend more, or less. It’s perfect for people who don’t have a lot of time throughout the day to play a game.

Fun keyboard racer
Lots of car variations and unlimited player made tracks.
You start out with a bit of coin and two cars. You can use your coins to purchase other cars and/or variations of each one. There are also several tire choices for the variable track conditions to spend your coin on.
You earn more coins buy simpy turning laps, but you earn more when setting fast laps. So if you are within a certain percentage of the top time for the day, you are rewarded with coin. This is all sorted and tracked via the easy to use, in-game leader board. That said, earning coin is a bit of a grind at the beginning…not overbearing, but it pays to make smart purchases…you don’t want to be short on cash when in need of some rain tires. :)

Hnefatafl
This game the most fun I can find these days (coming from an experienced hobby chess player). Different rules and game types are available for the ancient Hnefatafl game that was played in the viking area before the advent of chess. Hnefatafl is an unbalanced game where the strategy for each side is very different. One side plays the defender and must escape with the king while the attackers rush to capture him. Because of this unbalance in the rules the computers are still no match for decent human players. Try for example the mode legacy berserk and you will find yourself at the top of the food chain in no time. The number of possible moves to play increases faster than in e.g. chess and go, making it hard to calculate and predict far ahead, especially for the larger boards. Because of this complexity and the unbalance in the rules it will take time for the computers to play well leaving the arena for us humans to compete using intuition to guide us. Maybe you have what it takes to come up with a new way to play and beat the current top ranked players?

This appears to offer everything you need if you are interested in this ancient game, including all the main variants, the ability to customise the game and rules and create your own variants. online play, synchronization with with the mobile phone version, decent graphics and interface, graphical mods, and great developers who listen to feedback and strive to keep improving the game.
I suggested an interface/display change to make the game look better on my monitor and screen resolution, and with a day or two an update was released with the idea implemented. Fantastic!

Mad Wild Fairy Tale
I invested already close to 30+ hours in this game. I was playing a beta version befor early access release.
This is surely RPG and Strategy but in a few ways it is almost a rogue like game.
Even if it has no common rogue like elements. WHAT???
The Thing is you reach “immortality” only under two different conditions: Character level 10 and Forest Heart (healthbar over 500). And as i said im 30+ hours in this game… still trying!
I would not recommend this game to player who wanna dive in for a few hours.. you will be probably on the same place like a few hours ago!

Battle for the Galaxy
The only way that I can reliably play this game is through a Steam account. If you play any other way, if you have to reinstall your web browser, you lose your account and have to start over again from scratch. I have restarted this game 5 times. The other at the end of January 2021, the game reset and I was sent back to the beginning again. I started sending messages through social media and they suddenly repaired the game to where I was before the program change.
This is a free to play game, but you really need to pay for enough gems to purchase the maximum number of Drones, which is about $10. So, I have spent $50 on this game so far.

What have you done to the game dear devs, this VERSION is faster and has a better quality, but the game seems incomplete. It is either buggy or the devs deliberitetly mess up certain aspects of the game. Right now it is better to play it on battleforthegalaxy.com or though facebook. And you can later trasfer the account to steam (not tried it).
Also i could not get any infantry modules on the Operation (you can get access to the Operation by upgrading the HQ to lvl4), i don´t know if that is a bug or the devs trying to make the Operation harder again. How about you make it easier istead, like increasing the time to 3 days instead of 2. I would like to get more sleep. :)

Police Sentri
This should be has been released as an ‘Early Access’ title.
It has potential, it was fun and all but it contains way too many bugs.
The developers seems to be actively updating the game, thus, I recommend it.
– Real player with 179.7 hrs in game
Still too many bugs,
but the game itself are quite good for killing time.
just need to fix the bug and add few features.
Hope that the game dev didnt just create the game and dump it right away.
Its pretty sad when trusted brand like TODAK make a game like this, then they didnt pay attention at all about the game.
P.S. :If game dev didnt want to fix the game bug, just sell the game to me,i’ll make it known worldwide.

Tsuro - The Game of The Path
It’s like a holiday for your mind…
It’s really is. As a visual art teacher and board-game enthusiast, I’d fall in love and buy Tsuro for mobile (my android phone) as well as Steam version. It’s the best purchase I ever had and felt with all digital-adaptation board-games or tabletop out there.
Honestly if the developer could even manage to put matchmaking without delay from other players (like online PVP) that would be much-much-much greater in the long run! Also if somehow we can customize our own ‘stones’ and change them with personal 3D characters or objects: it’s heaven sent.
– Real player with 22.1 hrs in game
Tsuro is a simple puzzle board game that is easy to learn but hard to master. Kind of like chess where you need to plan several moves in advance. The game consists of you picking a colored stone and drawing 3 tiles. These tiles have lines on them which your stone will follow along a path. Each player places a tile in front of their stone to move it in a certain direction. But be careful, other players can make your stone follow a path off the board if you are to close to their stone. There are a few different game modes you can play. Survival: be the last stone still on the board. Longest Path: travel the farthest distance by the end of the game. Most Loops: gain more loops than anyone else by crossing over your own path. Solo: this is just a relaxing mode to see how far and how long you can stay on the board. Bomb: This solo mode you need to make a path quickly because a fuse will try and catch up to your stone, getting faster as time goes on.
