Ogre

Ogre

*** Updated for v1.2.2.0 ***

Short TL:DR - A faithful translation of the original boardgame with lots of potential, but still rough around some edges. Overall, good enough to get your “fix” for classic Ogre, but G.E.V. is still a ways off and some minor bugs still need to be addressed. I currently rate it a 4 out of 5 (previously rated at 3.5).

I’m going to try to itemize the good and bad as much as possible so you get an accurate view of what the game (v1.2.2.0) looks like. I was part of the beta test and there are a lot of things that have been improved since the beta, but there’s still more work to do.

I have experience with the Ogre 6th Edition board game, and this game feels very similar.

One thing I very much appreciate is that there are a few mechanics in place to speed games up. In the board game, if you target an Ogre’s treads, you have to fire individually with each unit doing so. In this PC game, you select your target first (like, the treads) then select every unit in range, and the game rolls for them all in sequence, faster than selecting each one individually. You can also stack multiple units on the same hex and move them as a group, which speeds up the process of closing with the opponent.

Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever

The Key was given by the developers and I am enormously grateful for the opportunity to stream it and review the game.

If you like arcade rail shooter this game is for you, I really enjoyed playing it and it makes me want there to be a house of the dead VR too ,the game focuses a lot on beating times and shooting well so if you are into that you will like alot the game!

I took me around 9+ hrs with extra content (they add a update adding new levels) and there is still more to come to the game! so looking excited about the bonus content and not leaving the game in a lonely state like ALOT of VR games out there

well, it might not look like much. just your regular zombie wave shooter.

but this game is about quick and accurate shooting, picking your targets in the most efficient order to get unlocks and climb up the leaderboards. just chain thoose headshots together and dont miss too many shots. sounds totally simple if you are a professional shooter, but i bet you are not. xD

really, i just stumbled randomly across this game. it deserves way more coverage so other people might also learn of the games existence. Zombieland definitely has great polish and good voice acting. its easy to pick up and will keep you challenged for a quite while especially if you compare your scores to what a friend can achieve ;)

Robo-Worms

Robo-Worms is a fun PVP Battle Royale game to play with a group of friends. The PVP is intriguing and nothing like any Battle Royale game that I have played before. I’m excited to put some more time into this game and become more experienced in the unique PVP Robo-Worms provides.

Really good start, but needs a lot more input and very soon. Silenced rounds ripping into flesh - together with all round realistic sounds accompanied by eerie tunes. Excellent graphics, sound range of weapon upgrades and silencers but something like the M203 in addition, would be even better!!!! An LMG is already in place but could also do with something like an ACOG Scope. Or how about the GLOCK G44 which also uses 5.56mm rounds, which you could then twin with other 5.56mm rifles?

Really good start, but needs something else to happen, apart from pirates suddenly appearing in front of you and they have taken over the business without firing a shot????

Disclaimer: This review will focus on ‘Single-Player’

Describing this game in one sentence would be: An extremely generic version of Tarkov.

There is only one map and on that map there are 7 “strong-holds” in the city, which you have to capture them, which is essentially how you will make the most money. Looting is suppose to be an important aspect of the game, but honestly, capturing the strong-holds, gives you an abundance of money, where looting simply becomes obsolete.

Speaking about obsolete looting. Once you’ve manage to capture all of the 7 strong-holds, well now my friends, you have the pleasure of continuing to “defend” them, because why yes, the AI can take them back. You will constantly, and I mean constantly get notified about one of your strong-holds being raided or taken over by the AI. Which essentially means, you don’t really have any time for looting, because while you’re looting, the AI could be taking one of your strong-holds.
