Late For Work
This game is fun for the whole family. If you have multiple kids who love VR but can’t play many of the games due to content/multiplayer then this may be your game. Now given it’s in it’s early stages it doesn’t feel complete but I have not run into any major bugs. In my opinion at it’s core, is a solid, fun, game idea that I hope gets future updates.
The graphics are in a basic polygon style and it runs smooth on a GTX 980 with no problems for any players. The game play for the PC players take me back to N64 days in terms of graphics and controlling the tanks/planes (I mean this in a fun way).

Late for work is great fun with friends! I played maybe 20 minutes single player and it wasn’t anything amazing in my opinion but when I got together with friends we played for hours without stopping and that is where the game really shines. My favorite mode by far is last man standing where players pick up powerups to enable them to turn into random items in the environment to hide from the gorilla.
I would highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a fun local co op vr game.. I plan on playing this a ton in the future. If I were to rate this game in its current state I would give it a 8/10 which is pretty amazing since it is still in development, I imagine that score will only go up. My only wish is that they added better AI for single player and more game modes and maps but im sure that more will come with time.

Takelings House Party
Picked this up as it’s one of the few asymmetrical VR games out there. Ultimately, it’s probably the best VR game you could play with friends. The concept is genius and it’s always a fun time when you’re chasing down your friends. It’s fun to replay the levels and there’s a few items/objects to spice things up.
The major downside to this game is simply the content. There’s only 3 levels, and while they’re all fun, I wish there was many many more. This game is so good you just want there to be tons and tons of levels. It only takes maybe an hour to pretty much see all there is to this game. I’ve still got 5x that, purely on replay-ability.

We’re a family of 5, ages 6+, and this game is quite a LOT of fun! Yes, it’s only got 3 levels…but to give everyone a chance to play every level in VR just once…that’s 15 rounds across 5 people! This game is NOT overpriced, and will be a family-game-night staple in our household as-is, but I WOULD NOT suggest it with fewer players - this is a PARTY game.
The kitchen level is really really good, though. The attic is really fun while the wall-breaking is really difficult. I suspect that they only get better with more players.

Panoptic
I’ve followed this game ever since I watched Node play it on their channel. Since then, I’ve followed gameplay videos and watched their development, hoping for the day I could play it. Once I finally got my VR headset, it was the first game I bought. And I can only say it was well worth it. Shortly after, they fully released the game, introducing more features, new sound design, and a cool new map. Today, the gameplay never gets old, and I enjoy challenging myself both at the keyboard and in the headset. Every game is different, and it challenges your approach and attention to detail. Great party game if you ask me - the fun never ends. My only complaint is that one of the maps has a bug that affects the headset with glitchy movement (disorienting), which is a shame - I love the art and music in that level. Team Panoptes, if you read this, please try to fix this issue. After that, I will have no further complaints over what I consider one of my top favorite VR games.

This is the only multiplayer VR game I have truly enjoyed. Panoptic brings great innovation in the VR genre! I hope to see more local multiplayer VR games with headset vs keyboard/mouse players.
Currently, the game has 7 levels, all beautifully and intricately designed. Some are easier for the Challenger, others are easier for the Overseer. Settings allow you to tweak the difficulty to handicap either player. Playing in VR as the Overseer truly feels like you are overseeing a world of minions doing your bidding. Playing as the Challenger makes you feel small with tense game play and a struggle to survive. It’s amazing how well the developers made two very unique, asymmetric experiences in one game.

Automata Break
An excellent VR game. It’s pretty immersive, very strategical and skill rewarding, smooth locomotion doesn’t get you dizzy and playing it with a friend in Multiplayer (PC/VR) makes for a lot of time of fun without you both having to own a VR headset.

This is a truly awesome game! If you like Tower Defense games at all, you have to get this one. Not only can you play with the help of someone else on your computer, you can play alone in VR.
I really like how the VR player can actually go from tabletop Tower Defense, and get immersed in the action by transforming into the map, and help your towers fight the invaders.
My only complaint thus far is even in normal difficulty, it is still very difficult to progress to the different stages. I hope the developer gives the old guys like me an Easy version soon. Awesome graphics as well at a great price of less than $20.

Nemesis Perspective
I don’t usually write reviews.. but this game is freaking awesome fun!
Had a couple of friends over and played for almost 2 hours straight - would have continued if it wasn’t 2am!!
The balance is fine..
Yes the boss initially starts out with an easier time.. but once you get the hang of the keyboard (or gamepad) this get ALOT harder.. with the boss player often looking like a crazy person swatting at a horde of flies…
It even got to the stage where the boss player was lying on the floor to try hide underwater and “lure” the hero to his watery lair.. pretty sure we almost had some cracked knees too.. from dropping down so fast to try escape the hero!!

Only really enjoyable as an experience in local multiplayer, (unsure if you can play online against other, but as far as I know you can’t)
this game is phenomenal and is worth far more than its free price tag. Admittedly graphically it’s not paritcularly impressive but when playing in vr, you get a truly competitive experience with the other player on controller.
I’ve had a lot of fun with this game with many different friends on their first experience with vr.
One of the most fun things you can do in this game is to really torture the vr player but getting right up in their face, this is excellent to watch as the controller player watches the vr player swing there arms around like mad trying to swat the imaginary hero from their face.

VR The Diner Duo
OK This game is amazing! Like that should be your main takeaway from everything else I say:
My partner, and two buddies recorded some straight up game-play so see how it feels:
On it’s own its enjoyable but where this excels is in the co-operative element of asymmetric game-play. It hard in places, ludicrously so at times, but all the way through its that fun giggling bit of nostalgic gaming where you end up encouraging and shouting at the person next to you as you work together.

Chicks and Tricks VR
I’ve really enjoyed this game when we had a party. It causes quite some chaos and laughs in such an atmosphere!
It’s a simple game and requires multiplayer. I’ve yet to encounter any issues whatsoever.
There’s no option menu, but that honestly doesn’t really matter for a game like this, with this price.

Maniacal, boisterous laughs the whole time from our 5 year old. Great fun for the family, groups, parties.
Gameplay feels pretty one sided though. Being the farmer is quite difficult. Even I (a gamer of 25+ years) was beaten by my 10 year old when I was the farmer. Also our 4 year old (fox) who has barely played any controller games beat our 10 year old (VR farmer). It’s possible we had extra difficulty / glitches due to streaming from our PC to the Oculus Quest, but… it seemed like the chickens were just difficult to catch in general. It kind of added to the fun but perhaps the devs can make some adjustments to even the odds a little. Either way it’s still worth the very reasonable price for a few laughs here and there. Maybe some additional game modes would have give it longer life and playtime too.

The “dollhouse” feel of being in VR surrounded by lots of little guys is VERY cool, and actually rather ideal for new players (playing with small bits and bobs is instinctual from childhood). The way you actually grab and use stuff is a little frustrating though, and there is a lot going on in the menus on the controllers that can make them rather intimidating to new users. These issues are there for game balance though - the best part about this game is playing it in a living room with other people. Easily one of the best VR party games around.

When new VR games come out the phrase “must have” gets tossed around from time to time, but hear me out; if you have friends that come over to play VR, if you loved Panoptic but felt like it was lacking depth in it’s game mechanics, if you love the kind of games that always end with someone saying “AHH! One more! Let’s play one more!”, then this is a MUST HAVE for you!!
The game is a 1v1, Vive vs PC local multiplayer (with online multiplayer coming down the road) game. As the PC player you must turn off 4 generators. As the Vive player you must STOP the PC player from accomplishing this. Luckily for the PC player you easily blend in with the hundreds of other andriods that look just like you. The Vive player has some tricks up his sleeve to find the PC player in the form of three abilities; Freeze (freezes all andriods EXCEPT the player, so while everyone is frozen be searching for the one android who is still moving), radar (your controller will vibrate more intensely the closer your hand is to the PC player), and barrier (which puts a barrier around the generators preventing the PC player from turning them off for a few moments). The PC player also has three abilities; Blind (which blinds the Vive player for 10 seconds), invisibility (turn invisable for 6 seconds), and false alarm (trick the Vive player into thinking one of the generators has been shut down).

Black Hat Cooperative
Oh man this is a fun and great game. I first thought I’d get motion sickness from using a controller and moving without moving but I didn’t. I really really hope they come out with more levels and even a level editor to create your own. Would pay for map packs for this game and even new traps and such. It’s a great team building and couch coop game. Highly recommend it. I saw in the menus that is supports both controller and vive controllers, I played with a wireless xbox one controller for PC and it was great. The other person on the couch just needs a keyboard. Hacking the guards and doing a freeze or blind on them is definitely great as well. It’s fun for both players. Please make more levels!

Wonderful utilisation of a single PC for local co-op in VR.
Both roles - spy and hacker - were fun and engaging to play as. My partner and I would swap between levels so we could both have a really good go at doing both.
I’m a big fan of the locomotion style of movement though I did find myself only using the one controller (forwards/strafe) and just looking around to change direction. It’d be cool if the Spy had more things to interact with in the game world.
I’d love it if something like this got a level editor so we could design and share our own maps to challenge ourselves and others!
