Guillotine

Guillotine

You’re in a tavern in the woods, but someone is a necromorph hungry for human meat. Guillotine the necromorph, or get eaten alive.

Guillotine is a multiplayer game of lying and deceit, with a pinch of survival.

It can be played with 4-18 players.

VOICE CHAT:

Proximity based voice chat. Sing at the piano, or scream for help when the necromorph is hunting you.

ROUNDS:

The game round has 3 phases:

Gather - Run around the forest, grabbing food and resources.

Discuss - The fog of death starts to rise up. Time to come back to the tavern, craft equipment and discuss.

Vote - Vote a player to get guillotined.

HUNGER:

Necromorphs have to kill people to satisfy their hunger.

Humans have to find food in the forest. Food growing plants are scattered in the forest, but most of them are located around the giant vines.

MATERIALS:

Materials can be collected around the map. They are used to craft items and upgrade equipment.

ZEPPELIN:

Humans can call a zeppelin by depositing the materials on its call table. Once all the required materials are there, the zeppelin will fly into the tavern’s tower and rescue whoever gets in it. If any player manages to escape alive, it is a human victory.

RIO - Raised In Oblivion

The game in the current state wont be atracting a lot of attention, the idea is promissing, the concept are promissing, the features too, but right now the game is a baby boy opening his eyes.

As a close follower of the game, from the beggining of the idea, I can say to yall, this game will be a AAA game, and all those bad reviews that yall are posting gonna turn on positive ones. I’m in no rush, I can wait for the game to rise and I cant wait to see the final product. The things that make this game special you guys wont know ever, what made the CEO develop the idea and what he has gone through.

Yeah, I’ll recommend, because it’s a masterpiece still in the early access (even though, it’s not on screen, but it’s an early release. No zombies yet, but I’m sure they will add it soon. You should all try it. The graphics are amazing.

This game’s community became trash the moment they made it cross platform. It was a great community of like minded players 9/10 sessions were very fun, social and generally pleasant but ever since they opened it up to the xbox community it’s just full of toxic players, people teaming and each lobby is nothing but homophobic and racist slurs. I have 135 hours on record but now it’s time to uninstall. What a shame.

This game is great at its core. It was unfortunately recently ruined by cross-play.

As others have stated, you’ll likely get matched with people with no mic or people who are in a Playstation party together, so you’ll rarely hear people speak. Since it is such a language driven game, you cannot play a proper match without communication.

It’s still fun if you can get a group of 6 together, but the solo or duo queue is incredibly difficult to deal with. If you turn cross-play off, you’ll wait for 20 minutes for a full lobby, whereas before you were in a full lobby within seconds.

With its worldwide infamy, the Japanese Yakuza is one of the most recognizable institutions in the history of organized crime. But it is much more than that as well. As a strategy/management game, Yakuza Empire offers you the opportunity of virtually experiencing what it’s like to dedicate your life, often quite literally, to its cause.

Lead the feared clan as its undisputed oyabun and direct its operations to the best of your abilities. Your revered predecessor was brutally murdered – it’s time to restore his honor and spill blood in the name of revenge.

Yakuza would be nothing without its ruthless leadership, but the same can be said of its unwavering foot soldiers. Recruit and train the members of your organization. Make sure you have the best and most fitting specialists for whichever operation you’re planning. In a game as dangerous as this, the team is only as strong as its weakest link…

Correct facilities will be indispensable in achieving your goals – they will provide fro you and fulfil various needs. Make sure you invest wisely, however. Money doesn’t grow on trees, and you don’t want to end up owing a debt to the wrong people. Plan ahead – expanding will always be necessary, but make sure you don’t bite off more than you can chew in your managerial ambitions.

Master the streets, know them like the back of your hand, as they will be a second home to you. A harsh one, nonetheless, where survival will be an art in itself. You’ll be given the opportunity to tactically plan out your moves in turn-based combat, so don’t fail – blood flows amply in the streets of Yakuza. Make sure it isn’t yours.

What good is being a member of Japan’s most feared criminal gang if there are no benefits to reap from it? Be devious, for you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. As you enjoy the perks of your hard-earned accomplishments yourself, remain aware of how much you can influence others with luxuries.

The Ship: Murder Party

The Ship: Murder Party

The Ship is definitely not your usual first-person shooter, where you just shoot anything that looks at you funny - although there is a game mode for that.

It feeds on your cleverness and paranoia. Each game round, you have to kill on specific person onboard one of several ocean liners - the titular Ships - and at the same time, someone is hunting you. Both you and your target - or ‘quarry’ - can take cover under the watchful eye of a Security Guard or Camera, but your hunter will likely be quite happy to bribe the Security to ignore their crimes while they bring that big ol' bat of theirs and beat your ass to death with it.

Turn Clue into a first-person shooter on 1920’s era luxury liners, sprinkle in bits of The Sims, and you’ve got The Ship. Instead of having to uncover a killer, The Ship makes you the killer. To be more specific and familiar to the gaming audience, The Ship is a very polished and creative take on the Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer experience (but also keep in mind that this game came before the Assassin’s Creed Multiplayer genre was released)….where the main gameplay mechanic revolves around finding your target, called your quarry, and breaking their face as stealthily as possible. To do so, there are plenty of lethal weapons and objects to wield, and even some environmental traps that you will find yourself potentially avoiding. To add flavor, everyone else on each map has a quarry as well. While pursuing your own target, you’ll need to stay alert and attempt to spot the passenger readying a knife for your back. The Sims element of the game, quells upon your daily needs to survive (food, drinks, toilet, sleep, etc). The ‘character’s needs’ element makes for a deeper gameplay experience, as your character is vulnerable to attack while you’re downing a bag of chips or snoring on a bed. And it is surely funny when your friend murders you on the toilet. The Ship is one of very few games that brings a large amount of enjoyment to my friends and I. Built on Valve’s Souce engine, a majority of gamers can experience a $20 title with basically 4 copies to gift away. A little too much? Ask four of your friends for $4 each, and your all set! Overall, The Ship is a very innovative, satisfying and humorous experience that a bunch of 5 friends can’t pass up. “Let us set sail!.”

Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice

Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice

It’s like they were short on their Q4 financials and some bean counter said, “Hey, how can get a quick cash infusion before Dec. 31?” And then someone said, “I think there’s a bit leftover on the Shadow Tactics cutting room floor we can wrap up in a bow and sell for cash grab so we can all get our Christmas bonuses.”

This DLC is just way too short. No new characters or abilities. And all the achievements are super easy. There’s no achievements for doing the missions on hard difficulty. No achievements for getting all the badges. It’s like this was all just quickly picked up off the floor and thrown together.

Not much to say here, it’s more of the brilliant Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, for which you can see my review here . It’s made in the exact same engine, so all the pros and cons of my original review stand.

The 3 short interlude missions, with no badges, allow for a more relaxed pace to deliver story and plot in. This adds character and is very welcomed. The maps are most huge and, as usual, richly detailed (except the second, which takes place on an archipelago with smaller sandy islands that tend to look mostly the same).

Watch Tower

Watch Tower

“Casual arcade with clicker elements! Defend the Kingdom from invasion!”

Well, this 5€/$ game starts with too much enthusiasm maybe.. let’s see =P

Starting from the very first screens, it’s clear that this is a mobile phone game. Cheesy and colorful graphics, little to no text (no settings basically), few things to click or, well, to touch..

And just a few upgrades and boosts: double arrows, poison and freeze arrows; more soldiers, our wall stronger and little else.

The game offers no tutorial at all, even if it’s quite simple - you’ll play as some soldiers in a watch tower on the left side of the screen with the enemies coming in waves from the right side.

Opinion:

Another game I bought during the sales, and the first thing I want to make sure is that it’s not worth your money! I was hoping for this to be one of those old-school tower defense games, but it’s not.

This game has 30 levels, which all look the same.

It’s a very active game, where you need to spam your mouse buttons all the time. The defending of your tower/castle only happens by you, spamming those buttons. There are a couple of things you can upgrade, but they actually don’t help you that much. Unfortunatly this game lacks variation, which makes you want to quit it after probably 5-10 levels.

40% of the time you meet kids that rip your ears apart from the inside but other 60% when you meet actually normal people , you can have the best murder mystery ever. Really good game for the money , not at all repetitive unlike some other games of the same genre. I really like murder mystery in movies , books or games and this was exactly what i expected. If only the games lasted longer or there was a bigger map , perhaps other maps.

For the money , it’s worth to atleast try the game.
