Chess Knights: High Noon
Incredible game!! This is definitely the most fun game in the Chess Knights series! I love western movies and this game has the perfect western vibe! In the other games, you could only survive, escapingfrom the enemies, but now you are a badass gunslinger and you only advance if you eliminate all enemies on the level! The puzzle continues with the same quality from Minimol games, but now we have the addition of Duel mode, which forces you to think and act very fast, just like in a real duel! I can’t wait for the full release!

I really like the games in the Chess Knights series. When I saw this game announced with this theme I confess that I found it unusual.
Well, what I can say is that this game just became my new favorite in the series.
In addition to the game being beautiful like the others, and counting very well elaborated puzzles (ranging from the simplest ones that present the mechanics, to the most challenging ones), the theme was very well implemented, including the duel, which is very well incorporated gameplay dynamics in a way I didn’t imagine for a game inspired by chess.

Wetwork
I really want to recommend this game, but I just can’t.
Wetwork is a fun, Hitman-esque, stealth, assassin game. It gives its own spin on the Hitman gameplay formula by adding features such as the ability to jump, go into a first-person perspective, and play as either a male or female assassin.
I enjoyed my time with the game, but in its current early access state, it’s pretty rough. With only two currently playable levels, the game offers less than two hours of real playtime for its $11.49 CAD price tag, which in my opinion is pretty steep. The combat is quite unbalanced, causing a detection by guards to almost always lead to an immediate death and mission failure. Wetwork suffers from infuriatingly long load times of upwards to three minutes and does not allow the player to save any progress so missions must always be restarted from the beginning.

At the moment there are 2 missions (training and mission 1) and S++ ranking both with also experimenting with the mechanincs and exploring the maps took me about 1.5h so the content to price ratio isn’t the best but if your a fan of stealth games and especially Hitman then this might be a worthy buy.
The combat AI and framerate while in combat are probably the biggest issues at the moment but both can be prevented by restarting after detection. Besides those 2 only frustrating thing was how the AI sees you if you are at higer elevation than them but there are are routes you can take to avoid this too.

Suit for Hire
This is the best non-turn-based John Wick simulator. Running around face shooting and doing gun fu and knife takedowns never gets old. My only complaint would be the difficulty, but for me that just makes it have more value as I play a level over and over trying to beat it. Some might get frustrated, though, at going all the way back to the beginning of each level when you die.
Each level gives you a set location and group of badguys to take out, usually on your way to some kind of objective, even though there is no story at present to give any meaning to the killing. That is fine with me, but it might urk some. They are planning to add cut scenes, though, so for now, make up your own story about how the people he’s going after killed his car and stole his dog right after his sister died or something.

The combat for this game is well executed.
It rewards you with a full magazine for landing 7 back-to-back pistol shots.
Missed some of your shots? No problem, the game encourages you to mix it up with a close quarters option as a stylishly fancy way of getting more ammo for your pistol.
Performing an up close finisher on an enemy gives you a full magazine in your pistol. In order to have a chance to do a finisher you’ll need to build up a meter using punches and kicks.
Punch and kick are on 2 separate buttons, this is important to take note of because kicking objects towards enemies (including grenades) is a mechanic in the game.

Kamikaze Veggies
Red, communist vegetables want to take control over the world. Only a special squad of veggies - warriors can stop them. If you like absurd humor and a breath of adventure on your back, then you’ve come to the right place!
Kamikaze Veggies is a game where the wrong move means death. Keep your eyes peeled! You need to be focused to react quickly to a threat. If you are smart, you have a chance of a successful mission. When the frontline situation is dire, use a suicide blast. This is the specialty of the rebel crew.
Red communist vegetables are your enemy. They are cruel and ruthless bastards. They want to take control of the whole world. Reds are better armed, and their troops contain GMO mutants - extremely aggressive beasts.

World War Academy: COMMANDER 1
Destroy each other’s main base and win. Or kill enough enemy NPCs or players to reduce the camp’s resource value to 0 to win.(CS + WOW AV)
The game has a single training mode, there are user-defined multiplayer combat mode. There is also a dedicated server mode. At present, it is a better choice to train alone or find your friends to play online. Several friends can play with each other.
If online, it is recommended to use friend game mode, but this does not support joining midway.
Dark Tales from México: Prelude. Just a Dream… with The Sack Man
DARK TALES FROM MÉXICO
This is a saga of 9 short games and a prelude in a 3D survival horror style, based on tales from the real Mexican folklore in which every monster it´s originally a physical sculpture made and painted by hand and then 3D scanned using photogrammetry.
IN THIS EPISODE
You are a young girl who is sleeping and having a nightmare in the middle of which your grandmother appears giving you a key, then a black cat starts talking to you and tells you that if you want to wake up, you must recover, in less than an hour, a dagger that is inside a labyrinth where the Sack Man lives, the monster that steals children from that old legend that your grandmother also told and warns you that this labyrinth is alive, that it changes its shape and that it will protect the monster by showing you your own fears, and that if you fail, you will remain inside the labyrinth forever and you will never wake up again.
SpyParty
Okay, so I never ever never write game reviews on steam. Until now, because SpyParty is such a great game, and I want to maybe get some people who treat the game like a party game to view it from a different angle, and to briefly sum up what the game is, and what it isn’t.
The gameplay/content:
The spy is hiding in the party, while the sniper tries to discern them from the innocent partygoers. So far, so easy; especially since when booting up the game for the first time, you will be presented with a severely simplified experience, as to not overwhelm a new player. Then new missions for the spy to complete, as well as fresh venues to play on will be unlocked after a certain number of wins, to gradually deepen the experience.

So I never really played video games until I found SpyParty. And what a challenge. At first glance, its EZPZ. You’ll jump into a mode where you learn 4 missions and play other people with just about the same number of games and play. You’ll play until you kind of figure out what you’re playing and then your world expands; A LOT. You get access to 4 other missions and the sniper has to look for more.
The more you play, the more you realize you need to be like the AI to succeed. Yes, you need to do missions but it takes SOOO much skill to know how to be an AI and not get shot by the top players of this game. I have 9000 games played and it still doesn’t cease to teach me new things about the game each time I die.

Hellbreath
Hellbreath is an MMORPG top-down view game where you have to select one of two citizenships and fight other players to defend your city.
In this game you will be able to train your character to convert it on a Warriors with STR and DEX as his main stats, a Mage using INT and MAG or an Archer, using AGI and VIT as his main stats, each one of these paths will have pros and cons, for the warrior you will have an easy way to quickly attack your enemies with melee weapons, being players or NPCs, but also you will not be covered from magic and arrows. As a Mage, you will be able to do great amounts of damage with the aggressive magics or support your friends with a variety of buffs, but the mage is slow because of the casting times and easy prey for all kinds of weapons. As an archer, you will be able to do quick damage from long distances to all kinds of enemies with bows, crossbows, and special arrows. The archers have a great amount of health but they are especially weak to melee weapons and magic.
Darkzone: Idle RPG
I have been playing for a long time during the alpha (before a massive overhaul of the combat happened) and when a Steam version (that also got like a 6 months alpha) happened.
When I found this game for the first time, the game was a bit clunky and the UI somewhat weird. The game was way way more simpler, we didn’t have conquest, the story was played ALWAYS as co-op (you used a second player as a bot, anyone in the range of your level), and we had a tap system to do damage, that nobody used.
Devs, in discord, listened to feedback, and with every update, some of the clunkyness was removed, some suggestions were added, things got changed, and we eventually got a massive rehauling of the combat and progression system, with levels, attribute builds, skills, and new different stats (evasion, accuracy, damage reductions… those stats didn’t exist at all before).

It’s a (mostly) auto-battler with some rpg / strategic elements that is a port from a mobile app. My sole experiences with the game have been through Steam, so this review is not based on the mobile experience. Overall, I recommend the game to players who enjoy incremental / auto-battler style games that incorporate some strategic elements.
Pros:
It’s visually appealing
The devs are exceptionally active on Discord and respond promptly to player issues. They remain positive in their player interactions regardless of ratings. When I raised an issue with my account, it was addressed quickly.
