Howard Phillips Lovecar
Howard Phillips Lovecar is one of those games where you can feel yourself getting better at it every time you play it, and there’s a lot of nuance in its controls and the way the different mechanics interact with one another. It reminds me of playing flash shmups on the internet when I was younger. The controls should appeal to fans of shmups looking for something new. You can only fire your shotgun out of the left side of the car and the tommygun from the right. Combined with the way driving works, you have lots of options for dealing with threats. You can circle around targets, do figure 8s in front of them, or just sit still in a blind spot and hold down the fire button. The different eldritch horrors are all instantly recognizable, and all of them have slightly different arrangements of tentacles and spikes, so there are subtleties to approaching one covered in tentacles as opposed to one with spikes that spawns homing drones. The atmosphere, (cultist yells, washed out color palette) especially when you’ve taken some damage and the darkness closes in, add atmosphere to a suprisingly tactical shooty arcade game.

You are driving through the wastelands in your pickup truck and you are trying to stop those nasty cultists are trying to summon old gods. Gods with tentacles.
At first glance game reminds me of the good old GTA, but with a lot more arcade feel. Each play is very short and intensive. Also developer promises to update the game with new features during the early access so big thumbs up from me!

Alien Arena: Warriors Of Mars
I’ve been part of the Alien Arena community for approximately 9 years, so I’ll try to be as unbiased as possible. I’m a huge fan of retro sci-fi, so when I stumbled on Alien Arena it immediately caught my attention. I grew up on games like Catacomb 3D, Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake, Alien Arena’s adherence to the arena fps format is one of the many reasons I have stuck around for so long.
AAA companies have a player base, Alien Arena has a community, the difference is huge! The developers actually take the time to help people out, listen to ideas for Alien Arena put forth by the community and best of all, they’ll get in a play a game with you. I warn you against playing against the main developer, we don’t call him the evil martian ruler for nothing!

Alien Arena: Warriors of Mars:
Good afternoon to you, Ladies and Gents. As you are well aware, mankind has had different styles of entertainment throughout centuries. One of the most documented examples is the glorious and bloody Roman Gladiator Games. Well, if I tell you that we have discovered a similar type of game, where Martians (and I am not talking about the British here), robots and humans fight against each other in a confined area, I bet you’ll want to see . . . hey?! All you have to do is to tune in to Alien Arena: Warriors of Mars.

## L.S.S II
This game is pretty fun actually, with friend I mean. Basically, just like classic COD zombie mode, but map is pretty pretty small, easily stuck at the corner and "sleep"… But I play with my friend a lot a lot round (Cause bug, I can't use AK47 anymore at that match, so many rounds, is my friend take me go to top rank, sad news is my friend still keep old record only me is on the top...Anyway, like another game, AK 47 still is a king of arms in this game...Currently, I found few bugs, I already told to the dev. Last, I really really hope have more maps and weapons at the future.

This game is… UNBELIEVABLE! I went into this game with decent expectations after i saw a few videos, and i have to say it meant the expectations easily. I think this game is out-of-this-world for the price that i got it for, 59 cents. Thats incredible. If you can get it for under a dollar, then do so. Its amazing. Heres a small list of pros and cons:
+You get a all of the weapons at the start
+the weapons are unique and fun to mess around with
+the plain white art design is really cool to me, i personally love white

What a great party game! I love it!
This game is great for some quick matches against your friends on the couch. That is definitively how I prefer it. However, in corona times you can still get your game on with the steam remote play =) Have fun blowing up your friends and family ;)

## Yet Another Zombie Defense HD
I am i fan of the orignal Yet Another Zombie Defense game and when i heard about this HD remake or in a full sense "Unity" remake of the game i could say i was hyped for it i spent 27 hours on the last game and i was ready to sink in more of my life into the game with my bestfrind so me and them save up to get the game. once purchased i was outstanded by the more in detail put into the zombies and the rounds how they put in new points to make old fans have fun again andf to hook the new ones into what game they had and also it was 99 cents to all users who own the orignal and that is a huge plus.

I have a little over 100 games and I rarely thumbs down games (this is only the second time), because developing a game takes hard work, no matter how bad I feel said game is.
However, I feel the need to thumb down this game:
- Feels sluggish/laggy from the get-go, but it gets worse as you get deeper into it;
- Crashes/kicks you randomly to menu, which is especially frustrating without any form of saved game;
- Terrible design decision (non-hosts can now buy stuff using their share of pooled money);

## CROSSBOW: Bloodnight
CROSSBOW is fun, but it has some serious flaws when it comes to the late-game. Fun casually, but grinding the game competitively to climb the leaderboard gets boring quickly.
I made a knee-jerk review about this game after having played it for 2.5 hours where I dissected the problems with the game and didn't recommend it. I scrapped that review, and having played it longer, reaching a score of ~1350, I can say that there is a good game underneath the problems I see. I have certainly gotten my share of enjoyment out of the amount of money I spent on the game, and I think the devs are open minded enough to update their game.

The Short of it: A challenging arena FPS that reminds me of Devil Daggers, but ups the interaction factor based on the variety of ways to use your weapon (shotgun blast, full-auto stream, explosive AOE). I had fun =)
Reminds me of: If you liked Devil Daggers, Doom, or Hexen, there's a good chance you'll like CROSSBOW: Bloodnight.

![Hellbound](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/753590/header.jpg "")
## Hellbound
**Updated for Build V.1.1.3b - All fixes and changes will be underlined.**
**As of Build V.1.0.3, this review was changed from a Negative to a Positive, and because of that, it has lost all of the previous ratings.**
Hellbound is a game I was hyped for ever since I saw the trailer, but in the end I felt kinda split. After all the updates it has gone through, I'm gonna recommend it, but with a grain of salt.
### Synopsis
Hellbound is a nod to the FPS of old, fast gameplay, hordes of enemies to kill, punchy weapons, it's good… while it lasts...

- This game was made for me. I'm playing on normal mode (difficulty 2/4) and I feel like the demo was perhaps on harder mode than this, regardless I love it somuch. I love exploring these places and figuring out how to solve these puzzles. I am not sure whether you can save mid-level but I will find out soon but regardless Ihaven't been doing that I've been using the built in checkpoints. I've been taking 10+ min to beat each level when it says par is 1-2min and I'm fine with that I have enjoyed it more this way. I have no idea whether it includes deaths in your time because several times I've died and started over at the beginning of the level (update: getting through levels 1 and 2 my way took about 45 minutes). I love how beautiful it is, I love the shooting and the enemies. I love that the difficulty is perfect for me. I am on the 3rd level now and whats really cool is its a super spooky graveyard that I'm in. One other cool thing is I didn't even find the secrets on levels 1 or 2 (I know 0% on level 1) so theres much more to do and it would be fun to get better at each level to the point where I could blast through real quick and beat par deathless on each level. I love the music and the aesthetic and the gameplay and the controls. This is like just perfect in so many ways for me. like that once you ahve unlocked a level you can play just that level. its also got a leaderboard for each level and each difficulty! Now I noticed that on the old skool difficulty you really can't get in a melee swing on a shotguy guy without taking a hit, theres probably a way to time it and strafe at the right time, but in close quarters (like if they surprise you) you dont stand a chance of not getting hit. I keep wanting to go faster, but I have more fun if I don't. This game is what I wanted Doom Eternal to be (not that theres anything wrong per se with eternal).
