Ultimate Summer

Ultimate Summer

If you’re someone who’s a fan of games where you’re basically a one man army fighting off hundreds of enemies and strategizing on what traps are best to use, where to use them, how long should you mine for rocks and wood to get items, etc. Along with trial and error. This is a game that does it pretty well for the price. For $3 you can’t go wrong with this game. It has a neat art style in it’s cutscenes and in game slight cel shading. Enemies have some neat designs. The game can get addictive and fun. It’s fun to just axe and shoot enemies with the guns provided.

Ultimate Summer

Asmodev’s are back with another banger, following the events from Infernal Radiation. Ultimate Summer takes the storyline further with another twist in the story-arc with a mix of a third-person shooter and tower defense gameplay.

Throughout the game, there are multiple references from the previous game and the story spills over to this one.

## Moon Defence

Well, first of all, Moon Defence is rule-breaker. Hit'n'run? No. Infinite ammo? No. Comics allmighty kill'em all hero? No.

It is some more serious stuff, [Paratrooper](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paratrooper_(video_game)) © old school action in 3D with real world economics and physics. Aiming is hard, movements are slow, resources are hard to earn.

Аnd don't forget, you are just an engineer at the Moon, with handmade laser hammer and dusty solar panel. Let's call it "casual hardcore". Stop farming infinite vegetables, try to aquire some more jigowatt in empty space, where no one can hear your scream. Moon is a harsh mistress.

This game is overpriced and is a shocker to play. You run out of ammunition so quickly then you are well and truly stuffed. The controls are awkward to use and the radar is next to useless. I wish I had not even bothered with this overpriced game. A good idea but poorly executed. The graphics are okay but it is just so frustrating to play you give up.

## Spacejacked

**Short Version:** Fast paced tower defense plus 2D run'n'gun that pushes all the right buttons. Awesome retro simplicity in gameplay (run, jump, shoot, build one of three towers) with plenty of modern features (upgrades and extra challenges galore) along with an intentionally silly story make this game utterly scrumptious.

You know those crazy dreams where a bunch of random pieces from your life / movies / video games get smushed together in a ridiculous fashion that somehow make a weird kind of perfect sense? Well, imagine a dream where Megaman lost his job and decided to instead pursue his secret wish of becoming a spaceship handyman, only to be sucked into an 80's sci-fi movie plot where aliens were invading the ship and only his newfound turret-building skills and rusty blasting action could save the day. This is Spacejacked in a nutshell, and it is glorious.

When I first saw this game, I thought it would barely have enough content to keep me entertained for a couple of hours. Well, I'm glad I was proved wrong.

How can I even start to describe this game? "A super fast-paced arcade tower-defence" it's a good start but it doesn't cut it.

This game makes most tower-defence look easy by comparison:

- You have to manage to defend your spaceship's cores located in different rooms from getting destroyed. This means, you have to fend off hordes of enemies in several separate rooms, basically at the same time, with limited resources (metal). Since you barely gain any metal from the monsters/ aliens you kill, most of the time you'll be running from room to room destroying your turrets to get metal to build or upgrade turrets in another room and then repeating this process until all rooms are secured.

## Vermitron

Very cutesy action game with old school art. If you are up for a retro adventure and like exploration, give it a go!

It doesn't look that challenging, but it's not easy. Also, there are some mechanics I didn't get at first, but you learn as you progress more in the game.

*– [Real player with 9.8 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197986943935)*

TL;DR: Give Vermitron a shot.

When most people think of twin-stick shooters, they think of raw micro mechanics. Disciplined aiming, shooting, and dodging, instead of careful, methodical thinking. Tibor Fobel embraces the later, fabricating a retro and tower defense hybrid. The result: a solid, old-school action game that deserves more attention.

Vermitron follows an intrepid astronaut, defending an endangered flower from invading insects. Player's progress level-to-level, descending further into an infested base. Winning a floor is simple: blossom your flower by collecting three watering cans. However, hungry pests will be squirming to your base, so you'll have to defend your plant along the way. Slaughtering worms and flies is easy. The trouble comes when picking up a watering can, which spawns a wave of insects. You also become slower, barely moving faster than a grub. Without a base defended by armed towers, your flower will be easy pickings as you travel back.

## Keep Defending

### Keep Defending is a wonderful blend of archery and tower defense!

Keep Defending (KD for the remainder of this review) is a great archery game that mixes in some tower defense elements. You will most likely kill most of the enemies yourself in the earlier levels and on low difficulty modes, but you will find that this game throws a lot of challenges your way which will require management of funds and allies. These allies range from archers to warriors to mages. You will make use of a teleport beacon as well to get around each level. Some levels don't require any of these allies or tools to be completed, but harder difficulties and more complicated levels throw a lot more enemies at you and even change up where some of them spawn.

*– [Real player with 7.2 hrs in game](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197997801929)*

Keep Defending puts a fun spin on the common VR archery genre by adding in the tower defence element. Unlike most of the tower defence games, it actually does it well.

If you'd like to watch some gameplay from a high-ranking player, take a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7TDAFTLWA8

You get gold for killing each enemy which can be spent on new defences. Defences being things such as teleport markers or NPCs who will attack the enemy with you. So far I've gotten teleport markers, crossbows and knights. You can place them in predetermined slots and if needed change the defence currently in place if you change your mind or the situation changes.

## Perraw - FPS Clone War Alpha

This game severely lacks content. Although all the achievements are easy to get, stay away from this game unless you are a hardcore achievement hunter for perfection. By the way, I doubt that the developer will add any new content soon.

The tower defense part of the game in Single player mode lacks ideas and it is repetitive and boring. The Multiplayer part of this game is one bad joke.

This game is probably one of the best games iv ever played. the story mode was short but sweet, and the characters there so lovable and life like. i didnt enjoy the guitar mini boss but the sans easter eggs was really something else. the multiplayer is almost anyways full, so dont expect to find a match. i was suprised to find such a great game at such a low price.

also my friend just commited suicide
