Panzer Panic VR
Ok yes, it looks like a phone game and yes I’ve only spent 30 minutes or so in it playing against AI bots. It is kind of fun though, would be great at a VR arcade against others or if you just happen to have a Vive, Rift, psvr and a gear lying around to play each other.
As the major downfall of this game is no online multiplayer, it would be a great cross-platform online game if only it had online multiplayer.
The tank controls are fun, drive out of the turret with two levers like a tank. The turret and gun are aligned with the HMD so where you look the turret turns. Works well in battles and the maps are CTF with about 3 or 4 different settings. There are achievements and powerups and graphically good for what it is, that out of ammo type visuals.

First Impression - It’s fun and seems to be well worth $10. It reminds me of a Team Fortress version of World of Tanks. Will update review as I play more.

Anstorm
If you like simple top-down twin-stick shooters give this one a try. Anstrom seems to be inspired by Ubermosh and TTV and basically offers a mix of both, though it’s not so much hardcore arcade-style. There is a campaign (story mode) with bosses (ans some are pretty good, classic 2d Contra-like). The campaign alternates between arena actions with different objects (clear area, run, survive x seconds, find something, destroy something, and more) and fewer maze levels (TTV-ish with enemies). And then there is Survival mode which comes in two separate flavors, Maze and Arena, that is more arcade.

A very solid 2D-Arcade-Shooter. It has it’s charm even though character movement can lookt a little bit janky. I helped to translate the game so if you don’t understand something it is probably my fault. The dev is open for criticism so if you want to help improve the game just help him out.

Bocce VR Simulator
a completely new sport for me, which I just learned about, thanks to this game, the realism and immersion suited me to my liking, the detailing of small details, the perfect music accompaniment, excellent presentation!

There are now 3 bocce games for VR. Bocce VR Simulator is the newest edition. While I haven’t played the others, I can recommend this one. It’s solid all around. You can play single player against AI on easy, normal, or hard difficulty or you can play local multiplayer (pass the VR headset around for 2 players).
You have full locomotion available with snap turning. The physics seemed fine to me. The throwing physics and the ball collision physics all seemed realistic. I did not experience any issues playing this game. The game ran fine on my 1060 GTX at a steady 90 frames per second. It’s running on the Unity Engine.
