Anime Wave Simulator

Anime Wave Simulator

its okay at best. Controls are defaulted to a weird setting instead of the normal WASD movement hence why one reviewer said u could only move right and down. Dude probably didnt know you could change keyboard controls. bruh moment. (options were also in french for some reason). But one you fix the controls, it does run “better”. That said, there are still a few bugs. and once you run out of ammo, thats basically it for you (so you better pray for some ammo drops). For the price, its alright. enjoyable until you get tired of the repetition.

Its….. alright.

If you want to play the game you have to fix the key bindings from SDXC back to WASD. The recoil on all the weapons just slowly move the camera to the right, hopefully this gets fixed to something a bit less obnoxious, like a wider area of damage instead, or just a wider accuracy range. For some reason the PISTOL deals more damage than the SHOTGUN when you deliver a point blank HEADSHOT to the enemies. This straight up weird having a shotgun require two shots to the head while a pistol only ever requires one headshot. The SHOTGUN doesn’t act like a shotgun, when you fire it at enemies it just acts like a weak pistol, only having its shot being registered by the enemy inline with your sight, zero spread shot. You can’t move backwards while firing your weapon, which is a little annoying as you have to crab walk everywhere when attacking the waves. When reloading the shotgun it will signify that you’ve loaded in a couple shells, but if you try and pull the trigger early thinking you’ve a least loaded 1 shell the reload process cancels, leaving you with an empty shotgun. This is a bit of a drawback because it feels like you should at least be able to fire off the shells that have been loaded in the reload sound. If you like detailed maps…… the TREES FLOAT above the ground. The map has 2 holes that lead to the outside of the giant crater. You can walk outside the crater and just tour around the outside for all eternity if you want, just beware that if you fall off the map you’re just stuck with a brown screen until you quit. The menu itself has a few bugs in it, one being once you enter into the settings you can’t jump to any other tab except the play tab. The pleasure mode side menu wont close no matter what, even if you press the CLOSE button, it wont close. If you try and pick up a ammunition box in Endless mode it will only refill the ammunition of the weapon you’re CURRENTLY on, so just take note of that if you’re trying to survive and not run out of bullets. The Normal game mode has 3 little areas where you can just jump on either a crate or a green storage unit and just pick off all the waves without any effort, so if you want to lazily pass the levels this technique works. If you get any of the enemies in Normal mode to stand near the green storage unit though there is a chance where they become untouchable no matter what, even if you’re firing at them from anywhere else on the map, their hit boxes just don’t register the shots. And last little problem I’ve found is that I couldn’t find the last GOLDEN UNICORN on Endless mode no matter what, I’ve searched the entire inside and outside of the map for two and a half hours and still couldn’t find it. If you’re trying to 100% the achievements on this game…… good luck. This review has been made when the game essentially just released so I’m hoping the developers look into these bugs. This game is only ~$2 so I guess some flaws are to be expected.

Shark Attack Deathmatch 2

Shark Attack Deathmatch 2

First of all, let’s start out with the positives and end on the negative notes. You buy this for the single player experience because the multiplayer aspect of it is DEAD. Abandoned by the developers to work on another game, which I find to be a real shame because this game had all the makings of a unique underwater 1st person PVP experience.

POSITIVES: There’s no real learning curve and part of the reason why this game is so fun, because players can jump in and start partaking in the underwater violence of killing, surviving and besting each other and the sharks in a variety of modes. Shark movements and behavior is pretty spot on and the graphics are hauntingly beautiful: from the texture detailing on the sharks, to the various marine life hovering in the background and to the way the sun’s rays penetrates into the ocean as you swim towards the surface. The controls of this game is also very basic and casual friendly, with only a few buttons assigned that serves as the focal point of the combat system. However, this doesn’t mean that your adrenaline won’t start pumping as you struggle, slash and evade your way to survive a group of hungry makos and tiger sharks darting straight at you from the heart of the ocean dephs.

Air Strike

Air Strike

Air Strike is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a “fake game”. The “developer”, beans rolls, took the Air Strike Starter Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Hardworker Studio, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They’re attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else’s work.

This is not a game.

It’s an asset flip, and not a good one either. It’s

https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/air-strike-starter-kit-13420

not even rebranded, just with a modified logo on the main menu.

Does it work? Certainly - it’s a decent asset definitely worth its money - but since it’s just a base template for an air combat game there’s preciously little to it. The three different modes selectable on the main menu are as bare-bones as they come. There’s not even a win condition to any of these. You just fly around with whatever plane the respective mode gives you and shoot at enemies that seem to mostly ignore you. That’s it.

Ultimate Summer

Ultimate Summer

If you’re someone who’s a fan of games where you’re basically a one man army fighting off hundreds of enemies and strategizing on what traps are best to use, where to use them, how long should you mine for rocks and wood to get items, etc. Along with trial and error. This is a game that does it pretty well for the price. For $3 you can’t go wrong with this game. It has a neat art style in it’s cutscenes and in game slight cel shading. Enemies have some neat designs. The game can get addictive and fun. It’s fun to just axe and shoot enemies with the guns provided.

Ultimate Summer

Asmodev’s are back with another banger, following the events from Infernal Radiation. Ultimate Summer takes the storyline further with another twist in the story-arc with a mix of a third-person shooter and tower defense gameplay.

Throughout the game, there are multiple references from the previous game and the story spills over to this one.

## NeonXSZ

It's not descent, so get that out of your head. It's way faster pace, and includes millions of upgrade combinations with hundreds of different play styles based on what loot you get and how you combine it together and upgrade. This is a very unique game in that the upgrades are so varied for both the player, the friendlies, and the hostiles, but they are mostly all the same sets! If you can do it, an enemy might do it too.

There are many lovingly made details, good progression that keeps the pace up to whatever speed you choose, and some pretty tough puzzles.

I've been playing and testing this game for over a year, since April 2013\. I was the first pre-alpha tester and I've submitted the most bug reports. I know the game. When I started it was great, and it has just been improved a lot in every area since then. I have played for hundreds of hours if you qount all the non-steam dev builds and while I have tried a lot of different ship loadouts there are still many ships and loadouts that I want to try but haven't because new things to try is added all the time :) And this is true even after I've played past the levels where new qontent is unlocked for every progression!

![TOXIKK™](https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/324810/header.jpg "")

## TOXIKK™

A modern successor to Unreal Tournament 2004 / UT3\. TOXIKK delivers that adrenaline pumping arena shooter gameplay you remember with beautiful graphics, familiar weapon and level design, and butter smooth performance.

I’ve played Quake Champions and I think the character abilities change the core mechanics too much, so it didn’t scratch the Arena itch I needed. TOXIKK on the other hand feels just like an Unreal Tournament game.

Unfortunately there aren’t many people playing this game, and unless you’re on during peak hours, you’ll be playing a lot of autofilled matches with bots. Personally I didn’t mind this, because I’m nostalgic for bot matches in UT and Quake 3, but mostly I don’t mind it because I suck and the bots make me feel like I’m way better at the game than I actually am.

First of all: Toxikk is in an early state currently. The first Early Access build has been released about a day ago and the developers included one single map only - on purpose. This is because they focus on basic gameplay and weapon balancing at the moment, which will be done based on community feedback. However, new content will be released every 2-4 weeks. Reakktor have posted a detailed release plan on the official forums, which can be found here:
