Primal Carnage: Extinction

Primal Carnage: Extinction

Beginning/P2W?

For a game that went quiet for about a year, its begun updating again with new events, a new dinosaur class, and new rarity. Im going to be entirely honest despite my love for the game. There is a significant skill gap in this game for those who are just starting it. While this game is cheap the store imo is a good bit overpriced with mutations being nearly 10$(does not exceed this) and regular skins ranging from 3$ to 6$.

While the store is expensive or not you can go about purchasing skins a different way and utilize the market to negate this if that is your only worry with purchasing this game.

I’m not even going to touch on balance issues and glitches and whatnot; there are plenty of reviews that cover these things in depth. While I’m sympathetic to the fact that the dev team has neither the manpower, time or money to actually do anything but they try to push on regardless, there are plenty of issues I cannot turn a blind eye to.

Like many others, my biggest grievances come from the community itself. However, despite what many reviewers say about “roleplayers ruining the game,” I have in my time rarely encountered roleplayers outside of RP servers (which I do not use at all). It’s almost as if you have to actively search for these things, imagine that!

Primal Hunger

“That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” Friedrich Nietzsche

Hunt or be hunted. Eat or be eaten. Evolve or die. Play as a fledgling creature vying for dominance. Eat. Kill. Evolve. Dominate the evolutionary chain, and crush those who challenge your right as the Alpha Predator.

You must slay other evolutions to gather catalyst. As you gather catalyst you can evolve into more powerful creatures eventually turning into an Alpha Predator, capable of wiping other players from the game permanantly.

Bloody Glimpse

Bloody Glimpse

A decent arcade style survival game where you have to fight and kill a range of real and mythical creatures.

The aim of the game is try and survive against waves of enemies as well as kill bosses but honestly, the main reason for why 99% of people buy this game is because its cheap, always goes on sale as well as can be found in a range on bundles which also go just as cheap. Not only this, it is filled with 1512 achievements.

Despite being an achievement based game that doesn’t take away from the fun that I had while playing… there is something weirdly enjoyable about running around shooting oversized creatures and watching them explode

“Bloody Glimpse will take you on a immersive journey through bloody and dark world, the one that you always dreamed of”.

No.

As dozens of other games by these developers, this game employs exactly the same graphics, user interface and so on of Dinosaur Hunt, Machine Hunt, Dinosaur Forest etc. - basically, all these games are the same one with slightly different maps, weapons and enemies.

The game itself is just a boring first person shooter, with the usual survival and campaign modes that will bring you nowhere.

Voltage

Voltage

The development of Voltage seems to evolve in small steps.

Loading times must be improved further!

Beside that Voltage Super Retro offers an unique visual style, which gives a very nostalgic appeal exploring the vast level segments. The FOV is freely adjustable.

Developers, please take care of this project! Thank you!

update 3

Please keep in mind that I will not test this game for a while as of now.(since all my save games got corrupted)

I would like to however point out that the dev(s) of this game are still working on improving and trying to fix the present problems in the game.

Now for me the big problem is the engine, I have played so many of these FPSC/gameguru games by now I have gotten used to the crashes/long loading times and other issues.

The devs of this game are clearly pretty inexperienced, but are doing their best with the available tools. I would really like to give a neutral stance on this game. But I would still like to say, buy at your own risk. There may be crashes, maybe even corrupted saves. But I am sure the devs are dedicated to improve on their work.
