Keep Defending
Keep Defending is a wonderful blend of archery and tower defense!
Keep Defending (KD for the remainder of this review) is a great archery game that mixes in some tower defense elements. You will most likely kill most of the enemies yourself in the earlier levels and on low difficulty modes, but you will find that this game throws a lot of challenges your way which will require management of funds and allies. These allies range from archers to warriors to mages. You will make use of a teleport beacon as well to get around each level. Some levels don’t require any of these allies or tools to be completed, but harder difficulties and more complicated levels throw a lot more enemies at you and even change up where some of them spawn.

Keep Defending puts a fun spin on the common VR archery genre by adding in the tower defence element. Unlike most of the tower defence games, it actually does it well.

You get gold for killing each enemy which can be spent on new defences. Defences being things such as teleport markers or NPCs who will attack the enemy with you. So far I’ve gotten teleport markers, crossbows and knights. You can place them in predetermined slots and if needed change the defence currently in place if you change your mind or the situation changes.

Sherwood Extreme
Sherwood Extreme is a gem in a sea of countless games. I have had the pleasure of being in the closed beta as a QA tester. Sherwood Extreme has a simple yet complex variety of game-play mechanics. The average player will always have fun and the dedicated will always be coming back for more. This game has great potential as it grows in Early Access. In the future, I believe the speed running community will enjoy this game. The developers at CageStudios are people who are passionate about their game. They listen to community feedback and want to make a great game. The developers have built an awesome community on their discord.

even though i have 10 hours in this game i can’t recommend this to people which hurts because i loved the time i spent with it. you play as Walmart robin hood in parkour levels killing enemies with various bows you can get through in game currency. you also have a shield but you’ll probably never use that. let me get the pros outta the way first. 1. the game play loop is fun for awhile till you realize the lack of variety and patterns. 2. there’s a decent amount of cosmetics you can get in game for free. 3. you can make chickens explode. now for the cons. 1. the lack of pretty much anything. 2. while i said the game play loop is fun it’s also incredibly repetitive, dull, and slow even though i think the intentions are for it to be fast. 3. the bugs many times my bow wouldn’t shoot this seemed to only happen in certain area but still was annoying. another bug i noticed was the game crashed a fair bit and if i clicked something to fast that would somehow crash the game as well. 4. the rpg system… man at first i loved it but after awhile it felt like a forced attempt to get people to play longer. what i mean by this is the rpg system really don’t help since in order to “level up” and get skill points you need to grind levels A lot and your reward is so small that it won’t matter till way later. on this same topic leveling up weapons was a slow and honestly boring grind since you can just grind the first level over and over(if you go there with a mission for it it’s even faster). 5. the missions. while they seem cool and fun at first they’re actually pretty dumb. they claim to add tons of variety to each level/mission they don’t. they only change a few minor things. for example traps that are easy to avoid, “different” enemies, etc. i can name more but the point is this game if just a slow, boring grind for nothing of value. oh they also have co-op but since almost nobody even plays it’s pointless. i know i said i don’t recommend this game but if you want something that’s fun-ish and relaxing for a bit give it a try.

Literally the best speed running game I’ve played in the last 5 years. The feeling of collecting a fruit’s soul is similar to that of sex, I’ve had no better gaming experience in any other game. It massively tops anything else in existence.

Fruit Ninja VR 2
I’ve barely done anything yet, but I can tell this game is very promising.

Found this title before early access was available; and since it’s times during playtesting it’s honestly made me smile like a little kid again.
Keep in mind - Halfbrick intends on mostly doing a open-world / level-based approach here. Classic modes like arcade & zen are not present here, but they are in the first Fruit ninja VR title.
The game is currently in early access as of this writing, and already it has plenty of fun content to poke around with! In addition to bow & sword gameplay, there are many small details the developers have been cooking up, like relaxing landscapes, beautiful ambiance design, and little minigames to discover across the map. Generally, plenty of things to do in order to take breaks from all of the hack-and-slashing!

Royale Archer VR
This game is good fun,
You get a limited amount of arrows that refill over time and Mana to spawn Troops, Traps or Use a Spell.
As you progress you unlock more to help you win the battles and accomplish the 3 objectives per Level.
There are also Upgrades to yourself and to your troops.
After two hours of gameplay I managed to get 3 stars on Levels 1-10 going back to a few after upgrading.
There seems to be 40 levels so far so I’m guessing its a 6-8 hr play through at release.
I recon they’ll be updates to smooth out the niggles like the UI being a bit clunky and not being able to Un-knock your arrow.

This this really cool!
This game has many flaws: awkward one-hand bow shooting (you’re guiding shoot with just one hand instead of two like in typical archer game), very poor visuals and poor performance (especially for those visuals) Controls are clunky and don’t always work.
But despite all these flaws the game is addicting and fun!
For it’s price it’s a steal!

Medieval Archery Simulator
Join a grand tournament and earn the title of the best archer there is!
Prove your superiority over other archers! Dominate every competition, use the wind to your advantage, and learn to shoot before your muscles tire.
Practice outside of official tournaments and hone your skills before a competition. Take the wind into account when choosing a faraway target. Learn to aim quickly, as your muscles will eventually tire out, making it increasingly difficult to aim. And if your target moves too quickly or is too far away - use your sharpened senses to temporarily make shooting easier and faster.
Sign up for increasingly prestigious tournaments in various different locations. Build your reputation by overcoming various challenges and outperforming your competition. Be ready for anything - only easy contests involve simple firing at a stationary target. Harder ones will require you to fire while moving, aim at a thrown target, or even play a melody by hitting different bells in quick succession.
Spend your rewards on new bows or arrow parts. Compliment your competitor’s weaknesses by choosing the right equipment. Make sure you match your gear with the archery style you prefer.

Tyrgard Archer VR
You know, this game’s actually pretty good.
Honestly, I read the other reviews and I almost expected not to like this, but I’m glad I gave it a… Shot ;)
Best part is trying desperately to dodge the spears getting hauled at you from all sides, and just, not being able to hit a single thing (imma need a lot of practice, lol)
EDIT:
They fixed some stuff I complained about, cool.

This game is awesome! Fun graphics, fun gameplay, You can clearly feel yourself getting better and better the more you practice, and the upgrades for the bow is a nice touch.
There is a good balance between when to charge the bow and when to do quick arrow barrages.
Would definitely recommend this game.
