Fruit Ninja VR 2
I’ve barely done anything yet, but I can tell this game is very promising.

Found this title before early access was available; and since it’s times during playtesting it’s honestly made me smile like a little kid again.
Keep in mind - Halfbrick intends on mostly doing a open-world / level-based approach here. Classic modes like arcade & zen are not present here, but they are in the first Fruit ninja VR title.
The game is currently in early access as of this writing, and already it has plenty of fun content to poke around with! In addition to bow & sword gameplay, there are many small details the developers have been cooking up, like relaxing landscapes, beautiful ambiance design, and little minigames to discover across the map. Generally, plenty of things to do in order to take breaks from all of the hack-and-slashing!

Swords & Souls: Neverseen
So this was a flash game before it became a actual game on steam. Originally just swords and souls, I waited like…say 4 years to play this game. And I sure as heck wasn’t disappointed.
Pros:
Graphics are eye-candy, perfect fantasy pop, or whatever you wanna describe it as.
Humor, had me chuckle a few times, however I will say in order to get most of them you had to of played the games they made before. So…you might wanna do that.
Combat, you auto attack and so do your companions, however you’re able to do skills and block or dodge attacks, sometimes in order to avoid a hit you need to dodge, blocking does nothing, etc. Think rock, paper, scissors, but with club, sword, magic. You can also choose different weapon types, changing the skill you get with it. Want a spear? Sure, you attack right away with the special ability, and weaken the hit opponent for two turns, however you don’t deal as much damage as say the great sword. And if you want the great sword you have a sweep fit for a group of enemies, however you loose the shield, thus taking more damage.

I’ve played this game a bit (I know steam says some stupid number of hours, but I left it open while I was doing a bunch of other stuff because of the passive income), and it’s been extremely fun.
The rough gist is that you enter combats, earn money from those combats until you can’t win anymore, then play minigames to increase your skills, and you buy better equipment so you can win more combats. It sounds really simple, and it is, but good fucking god is it fun.
There are 5 stats - melee, ranged, soulcery, defense, and agility. Each of them has a unique minigame.
