Queendoom
If you enjoy wave based shooting gallery bow and arrow vr games, this is one of many to choose from. After about 6 hours I’m just now on the 5th stage of the first of two Queendoms populated with only slim, light-skinned women. It may take you more or less time to get where I am depending on your ability to aim well, prioritize targets, dodge or repel incoming enemy missile attacks, and make good hiring and purchase decisions between onslaught waves,
Each Queendom has 5 stages, and each stage has a minimum of four waves to complete. Scoring headshots regularly, and having high accuracy, will increase the amount of gold you earn each wave. There are a plethora of enemy models with unique attack types, movement, and special effects.

This game has been an absolute blast! I see moba style games coming in the near future thanks to ideas that this game has implemented to semi-similar games of the overall same genre. Wave based, tower defense, upgradable weaponry, decent teleport system, and downright pretty.
Oh yeah, did I mention it’s hard?
(She told me so, but I had already been aware)
I’ve been enjoying trying to figure out the best way to spend my loot in order to die in the most lengthy possible way. I’ve gotten to the centaur-type boss on level 6 once.

YRek Lost In Portals
YRek is quite the oddity, it’s heavily inspired by Turok, at least during the first chapter. At moments it really shines, and the price change makes it vastly more appealing. There are some really cool guns here too, and I love the environment design - i.e. Mayan Temples, Snowy castles. I think YRek is a game full of potential - it just falls a little short due to a couple of things - instant death-traps, an a checkpoint system that prohibits you from save-scumming your way past said instant death-traps. I recommend the first chapter to those of you looking for a slightly janky take on Turok - but beyond that the game has a few too many pitfalls to really make it worth investing your time into. The developer is fantastic, and is listening (and acting on) feedback from the players - so if you can think of ways to better the experience, make your voice heard.

YRek is a game based on the turok vibe like the nintendo 64 games.
The combat is the name of the game here; you are always looking for ammo and health to get thru the world.
The variety of the weapons of the game is really good.
There are some really good moments with mini bosses and some big boss fights.
The Katana is one of my favorite weapons since you can slice every enemy on the game.
If you want to kill some dudes and dinosaurs I would recommend this game.

Phobos
Many of us old Phobos players have been involved in this game for 10+ years. If you want a game that can make you feel nervous about adventuring into the next dark chamber, then this is the MMO for you. Its beautiful landscapes and mysteries that lie within the deep will you keep you active for years. If you enjoy a game with a history and story then Phobos will bring you that warm feeling that many MMOs have forgotten about. The progress for your character requires vigilance and time to fully wield a mage or warrior in the world of Phobos. The PVP is balanced and ferocious. During PVP, team work is everything. This game will see Wars and challenges to come with its release. Phobos is a light in a world of so many confusing MMO’s. Be sure to check out there discord, and be sure to get to know the community. It’s a good game. Don’t knock it until you try it. Phobos has been out for a bit over a decade now, and has finally released to Steam. Some parts of the game can seem a little clunky and unintuitive when you’re first getting familiarized, but there is a guide manual, as well as an awesome community of players in the Phobos Online Discord. Much can be said about the Myth Entertainment team as well; They have been passionately working on this project for years, making changes, tweaks, design changes to make this an unforgettable experience that will leave you coming back for more! Meet friends, explore, hunt creatures, laugh, drink, be merry! Phobos most certainly holds an excellent adventure for anyone daring enough to brave the wilds of the world of Erasen!

Dread Templar
(Don’t Fear) The Templar
It took playing the recent Quake remaster, but now I get it.
It’s good. Nay, ace. No doubt about it. If it wasn’t up against the stiff competition that is the years upon years of high quality ‘boomer’ shooters, this would be a completely unqualified early access recommendation.
Ultrakill, Ion Fury, Post Void, Project Warlock 1 + II, Amid Evil, DUSK, HROT, Maximum Action, GTTOD, Prodeus, Cultic, etc - be they full games, early access, or just demos, the retro, ‘boomer’ shooter genre really is booming. I also cannot wait for the likes of Into the Pit, Fortune’s Run, and Forgive Me Father. In fact, there are so many that even when I say that I’d place this firmly mid-list it’s not even that damning.

TLDR; If you like retro shooter gameplay, and would like to have fun, buy it now!
I will just start listing what comes to mind, that makes me love this game, then write some experiences from my first 8 hours of playing on the hardest difficulty so far. Smooth movement with air controll using the mouse, running feels similar to classic doom (taking a short time to reach full speed), satisfying meaty gun sounds and very good feedback with lots of gore, build variety that actually changes gameplay, bullet time, stylish awesome visuals, amazing soundtrack, atmosphere, very good enemy and level design, exploration with rewarding secrets to find, weapon swapping combos combined with positioning during combat.

Epic Fantasy Battle Simulator
It’s fun, but I don’t like how some units will just stay put if there are no enemies to attack within their range, especially the ones all the way in the back. Have the back units go around the enemy army and attack or, just have them do something instead of standing. Like I’d love to see armies actually clashing into each other and trying to charge through instead of just attacking what’s in front of them in a straight line.
And if there are cavalry units, PLEASE HAVE THEM CHARGE THROUGH ARMIES LIKE THE ROHIRRIM IN LOTR. I hate how cavalry units in games like UEBS just stay put and attack instead of trampling through enemies! Having cavalry units run through armies would really make this game fun!

With epic battles between 4 different races, simple UI, and for only $12 this game is worth trying - especially if you like Total War games too.
Watch as Humans, Dwarves, Orcs & Undead clash amonst several powerful monsters as hordes of warriors get slaughtered.
I feel this game has amazing potential. But right now it is not perfect. Still pretty buggy, and clunky at times. But other times - it looks pretty darn good! Especially considering how many units you can fit on the screen at one time.
