It’s a nice game for it’s money. Thanks to the RPG maker this game has a simple mechanics. The amount of minigames and items is surprisingly big. I like how developers modify the pause menu. Graphics in this game is a huge problem for me, in my taste it’s to ugly and messy. Hovewer first cutscene is pretty good. It’s interesting experement overall.

Tower of Doom
Edit - There is a game-breaking bug where the game does not register that all the mobs have been killed so youree left standing in the middle of an open map with nothing going on. The game has no pause or menu button so the only way to fix this bug is to restart the game through the VR menu etc. This bug happens mostly on the first level but it happens on others rarely. I have encountered it roughly 25% of my runs.
These other reviews are full of poo. Buy this.
Tower of Doom is a great arcade game. It would appear these other reviewers dont understand the mechanics of the game. (scroll to the end for gameplay tips and observations)

pretty sweet game! The guns kinda give me a borderlands vibe since they have rng stats/abilities. The enemies have a good amount of differences to them in appearance and types and there’s even more types of guns. I really like how you can keep upgrading your weapon to make it last longer and that you have 4 weapon turret spots to place guns you want to keep or to put a new gun while you’re working on upgrades for it. I think it has potential for lots more too! ( i’d love to see more boss or mini boss encounters.)

Manic Archers
One of the best party games I’ve played! Unique, the artstyle is pure nostalgia, and the gameplay is just hilarious/random. This is a great party game, and love it’s Steam Co-Op compatible.

Well, first: you really do need a controller in order to play, it won’t work with mouse and keyboard. But even if it did, you’d still want a controller, I’d say. So now I probably need to buy a better controller for this…
The game has an awesome retro vibe, especially the music. The title doesn’t disappoint: the gameplay is frantic. You’re an archer, jumping around, shooting enemies, dodging projectiles, potentially hitting yourself while trying to get rid of the waves of enemies spawning. Fortunately your ammunition is also constantly spawning in random locations, because you need to keep supplied. And what an arsenal you can collect. It reminds me of the loadout of worms or xenon 2: absolutely ridiculously overpowered.

Tiny Force Deluxe
Played a couple hours and noticed a bit of a bug, all the characters were unlocked from the start, already i have the achievments for unlocking all the characters but not the one for my first new character. This I am assuming is making it a lot easier than it is supposed to be and also takes the fun out of it as there is nothing to work through the levels for.
Fun gameplay, but really not very challenging..
would reccomend when the bug gets fixed or if it goes for real cheap.

Battle Rollers
Very fun and addicting pick-up-and-play type game. With gameplay that is easy to understand but hard to master, you are bound to have a good time

Lovely game with very solid central concepts and a nice balance of strategy and luck! Music is upbeat and avoids being repetitive. Game dev is very responsive and involved in updating the game for quality of life suggestions, and I’m very interested to see how it develops from here!
I absolutely recommend giving this game a try!

DUSK ‘82: ULTIMATE EDITION
Dusk ‘82 has reminded me of how awesome dungeon crawlers are, as well as the fun and sometimes tricky puzzles within them. If it’s okay to compare it to other games, I’d say there are elements/influences of Ultima, Rogue, Chip’s Challenge and even ZZT in here, intentional or otherwise. It combines a lot of what made those games fun to play and turns it up to 11.
It’s short, sweet and the world is your oyster in terms of customisation and level creation so hopefully this will be one of the most community-serviced titles on this platforms as it has the potential to be.

Another master piece of David Szymanski, DUSK 82 has to offer a great 8-bit action-puzzler that was used as the prequel of the original classic cult shooter DUSK.
Created in such a simple style, this game reached the expectations that the fans were hopping for the next title of the DUSK series.
I enjoyed the puzzles that the game delivered including the music that was adapted from the first game successfully, meaning that I didnt even felt boring while doing the run of the entire game.

Project Elysium
Experience the ultimate survival challenge in this exciting wave-based strategy game.
Explore different maps and meet up with your friends to face the hordes of enemies together.
By using one of the many upgrade choices and map features you will be able to increase your power to defend yourself.
Use your money to open doors and clear debris, to explore more and more of the beautiful landscapes.
Choose between different difficulty settings to adjust the game to your own skills and try your best to unlock even the hardest achievements.
RagTag
A very addictive game that seems straightforward on the surface but opens up lots of strategies once you begin unlocking more pieces with skills and maps that require more planning. The artwork is all beautifully hand-drawn including the cutscenes with a nice coherent story that is narrated. The campaign is fun and knocking the enemy pieces off the board is very satisfying. Earning coins allows you to play more surgical levels in an arcade mode once the story is finished, which is a nice touch.

The Short of it: I’m having a lot of fun with RagTag. Casual, and yet surprisingly strategic/nuanced. Reminds me of playing marbles or curling, but with an apocalyptic setting and visually unique style. Addictive ;)
Reminds me of: If you liked Subbuteo, there’s a good chance you’ll like RagTag.

The Bounty V2
monsters, traps, puzzles, dungeons, secrets, enemies, treasure chests - perhaps the best game i saw that is made with an rpg maker!
– Real player with 10.6 hrs in game
The Bounty has to be one of the most unique games I’ve ever played. Myself coming from Nex Machina and Pacman 256. I needed another high scoring nostalgia type of game. And this is where the Bounty comes in. This is not your ordinary RPG game. It’s a high scoring RPG. A humorous one at that. This is described as a Dragon Quest type of game. Which could be true but I’ve never played those. But this game reminds me of nes classics like Zelda, Final Fantasy and Uncle fester’s quest(music wise). The music is really good in this game. Really captures the feel of the 8 bit era. The game is not super hard but challenging enough. The puzzles really challenge your common sense. I can even use a Dog whistle to signal a partner for my battle. Overall. It’s a fun game. I recommend playing this especially for $4.99. It’s really worth it.
