The gameplay requires hands-on action and quick thinking. The drivers of Monoxide City have no respect for traffic laws, pedestrians, common decency, or YOU. The easy-to-learn 4-button control scheme is intuitive even to casual players. But the challenge of the levels ramp up steadily. Easy to pick up, hard to master.

Besides angry motorists you’ll also have to contend with the bureaucrats down at city hall hitting you with ever more strict rules regarding how many kids are allowed to get pancaked on a given day.

5 days a week for 5 weeks. As you progress through the 25 level campaign you will face ever-worsening traffic conditions and environmental hazards. You start the game off with nothing but your trusty stop-sign and your pointing-arm, but as you progress you might find helpful objects, like barriers and traffic lights.

Your score is determined by speed, crossing-combos, and of course how many kids you manage to get across the street. Refine your strategy for each level for better scores and reach for the top spot on the online leaderboards.

Extreme Racing/Neon Microlife is a “template flip”, that is to say, it’s a “game” that has been produced by using a game construction kit template/tutorial, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple 2D top down arcade “racing” game. At least in this case the “developer” was honest enough to give credit for the game assets they ripped off from other people. Usually the “developers” who churn out these kinds of things pretend the art assets are theirs.

This day marks the end of my food delivery career.
After a fierce battle, my arch nemesis “NiiChungShanChiiShingChun” beat my WR, ate my tofu and had sex with my wife. In the past, everyone respected me and looked up to me, but now even beginners laugh at me and call me a pathetic loser. I put my life into this game, poured thousands of dollars into my bike, practiced every corner at least 100 times a day and then NiiChung came and took everything from me.
I hate you Niichung…

“I don’t have any argument but I don’t like it !” -Bad reviews from a random lowbob. 0/10

So, first of all, this game doesn’t deserve all those bad reviews. Everyone seems to have played this game for only 15 minutes, and honestly, you can’t judge a game within 15 minutes. This game reviews are clearly manichaean ; you have two possibilities according to Steam reviews : you completly disregarded it because you played a few minutes and no minigun spawned on your car or you will find this game “somewhat OK”. In my honest opinion, I really liked this game. Of course, there is tons of better game in that game style, like the FlatOut series, but this game got a decent amount of pros. Let me make a list of the pros, the cons and the neutrals.

Usually I finish game first and write review later. But this game is special. Ingame counter tells me that I have completed 42% of game and I just have to describe my last mission. As a warning.
There is tl:dr part after story - you can skip it if you value your time.
You choose part of the city where you will respawn, then car (marked with red flag which means that there is availible mission for it). So far so good.
Voice in radio tells about kidnapped bus. Voice acting is terrible but I don’t mind - they don’t talk too much. Story is garbage - realy. We know that blue bus was kidnapped… And this is our only info - so we chase nearest red dot on the map. Bus driver acts like he was crazy. Drives on wrong lane/in the middle of the road. He’s speeding and make turns that would seriously harm people inside. I think it’s the one… and nope. Apparently this is how bus is supposed to behave on road. Whatever - after 10 minutes I have found the right one. Kidnappers took only one passenger and drived away already. Luckilly (no spoilers - but story is really bad - just more driving and bad voice acting). Now I collect money (?) chase my kidnapped partner (and kidnapped girl) and switch cars with bandit (did I said that story is bad?). There is bomb inside new car so I have to travel 1,5 km fast (some plot garbage).

Very unique game, cool idea but can get pretty slow after a while when you die late in a stage.
Game runs good on my potato computer.
Kenney deserves all praise he can get for all the free stuff he puts out there so you should definitely buy this one to support him!

Yo, I don’t know why I like this game. I really do. If more things meld towards my interests, i.e. online multiplayer with VAC support, trading cards, some sort of digital storage space for multiple vehicles…
There’s a heavy emphasis on going high speed & listening to loud music, which I think misses the point of modern capabilities in its search to be a retroactively retro hit. Y’know? I sort of, for lack of a better term, picked up speed, right uh, away. But I still can’t drift, and that’s like, the basis of the game?

これは従来の"インフィニートドリームモード"と違いゆっくりと走ると顔に追い付かれてゲームオーバーになります。
つまりタイム制限のようなもので、レースゲーム色の強い内容となっています。
(“Nightmare mode” in which a huge face comes closer from the back has been added.
Unlike the traditional “Infinito Dream Mode”, if you run slowly you will catch up with the face and it will be a game over.
In other words, it is something like a time limit, and it has a strong content of the race game colors.)
