An extremely unique game with a concept I’m surprised I haven’t run into before. The game itself is very fun in general with decent graphics, fun game play, and pretty cool character movements. I’m quite curious to see what will become of this game and especially how they will handle multiplayer.

I however do have an issue with the game. Every once in a while when you respawn your character stays on the ground. You can still move around but its impossible to do anything productive. Here’s what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ojQhbwSuKg

Yes. The best. Thumbs up

A real good follow up to the answer. It adds more complex layers of the button swapping which keep the gameplay fresh and interesting. The soundtrack is a fitting choice again and this time the game is split into many smaller levels instead of one long run which does make for a little bit more manageable obstacle training and also keeps the early stages from becoming boring as you master the easier difficulties. With a bit of insanity and a nice little catch at the end an overall well rounded sequel.

Project Umbra

You play as a soldier from the future equipped with an armor containing an entity discovered in ancient ruins. It is called the “Shadow”. It was scattered throughout the historical eras, you are sent back in time to learn more about this entity.

Armed with this technology, kill many enemies who seem to be possessed by this entity.

The “Shadow” that accompanies you will feed on the souls released by the enemies you kill, thus making you stronger.

Your enemies will be many and varied, whether it’s a knight in armor or a sniper.

Be prepared to take a beating. If you die, you will be replaced by a new soldier.

However, the “Shadow” of the soldier you are replacing has become uncontrollable, and will be waiting for you…

月之泪 ~ Tears of Luna

月之泪 ~ Tears of Luna

Story

Thousands of years ago, the phenomenon of “Tears of Luna” occurred, countless monsters flocked to the earth, the world was destroyed,

This incident is also known as the “Sorceress Destroying the World”. Now that a new crisis has emerged, will the tragedy of the destruction continue?

The game draws on part of the world view setting of the RPG game “Final Fantasy 8”

Features

Danmaku+Arcade style STG, while avoiding the barrage, destroy the enemy aircraft as soon as possible to form a “bullet-storm-elimination” otherwise it will not survive

Scoring method:

1.Destroy enemy aircraft and bosses to get points

2.The number of all enemy aircraft destroyed in each level is counted in the Combo, and it becomes a score at the settlement of each level

3.Destroy the enemy aircraft to form “bullet-storm-elimination”, which will turn the barrage around the enemy aircraft into points

4.Grazing counts as points

5.The remaining time of the boss battle is counts as points

6.Reward for “1UP” every 10 million score

Special Thanks

1. Use the “魔王魂” music material(maoudamashii)

2. used the free (commercially available) materials (approximately 2-3 photos) on Pixiv. The source is too old and I have forgotten the source. apologize to the author -_-!

Control

Gamepad:

Arrow key(direction):Control the character to move up and down

X: confirm/shoot (confirm/shoot)

A: speed down

R: magic

Keyboard:

WSAD: Control the character to move up and down, left and right

J: Confirm/shoot (confirm/shoot)

K: speed down

R: magic

Attention

1. During the boss battle, the mobs are not counted in the Combo

2. The first type of magic (shield) can negate the beam attack

3. The closer you are to the monster, the higher the shooting power (especially shot bullets, cluster bullets seem not obvious)

4. Because of the preference for the Arcade mode, the “processing drop” effect is reproduced

5. Others to be added

You’ve seen this kind of game before. The frantic adjust-the-train-switches-so-trains-don’t-collide game, BUT… This is a really good one. I don’t know what about it makes it so enjoyable. Maybe it’s how varied nad interesting looking the tracks are.

Bridges, tunnels that make trains reappear somewhere else, as well as many varying enciromenments.

This, along with the ability to select your own trains, as well as having you actually expected to transport passengers from place to place (Which also means, if your train is yellow, and heading towards a yellow station, any yellow passengers form stations it passes along the way will also board it) all work together to make this the best game of it’s kind that I’ve played so far. (Granted I haven’t played many, but I still feel like this is one of the better ones)

The best way I can describe this game is: it’s like juggling three coloured balls where they change colour mid air and in which two more balls and a chainsaw are thrown at you during the course of your act.

The levels themselves are mostly fair and well designed (I’ll come back to that in a minute) and the controls are lenient enough to where when you fail you can only blame yourself.

The music is a nice complement to the gameplay and the art style is nice and simplistic.

Another nice feature is that you can choose which levels to unlock first which has the bonus effect of being able to leave a difficult level for another which makes the game a lot less frustrating when you meet a level that you just can’t quite complete.

It is perfect for practicing and testing if your cognitive skills are sharp!

It’s a difficult and beautiful Puzzle/Precision Platformer with a Runner-ish type of game with cool pixel art visuals and synthwave music. The progression is great, and I even rage quit sometimes but I will not give up until I finish!
