Really fun game. One of those addicting just one more time style games.
Great sound track.

Sine Wave City
Lucky me gets to write the first review for Sine Wave City… sigh.
Sine Wave City is an abandoned early access 2D retro neon “arcade” game where instead of shooting the enemies, you form a sine wave at the bottom of the screen and you have to whack the bullets with the tops of your sine wave. Yeah, it’s not a fun concept.
The amusment from this game comes from an unintended source: It’s completely terrible, perhaps one of the worst “games” on Steam. Little in the way of actual game development took place, this was slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio construction kit. Using a bad quality construction kit results in bad quality games, as Sine Wave City demonstrates.

Singled Out
This game is the perfect arcade game. I haven’t gotten to a boss so I can’t comment about that. It’s also really easy to get onto the leader board. There’s not much to the game but I think that’s how most arcade games are. For it being made in a game jam its great! I didn’t even realize it was made for a game jam at first. It want more games like this! It doesn’t require to much thought so its easy to watch a movie and play it at the same time.

This is a simple and fun little game with a distinctive pixel art style, that’s best enjoyed with a few friends, especially if you’re all a little drunk. You’re given three clues as to what the target galactic super-criminal looks like, and a crowd of faces milling around. You need to identify the criminal and shoot them to get points and move to the next round. If you shoot an innocent bystander by mistake then it’s game over, and you start again from the first round.
It starts out simple, with the target criminal usually being easily spotted at a glance, but quickly starts to build up in difficulty as the faces in the crowd all start to share similar looking features that forces you to start to check and double-check and even triple-check before you pull the trigger. The ten second time limit for each round is accompanied by the ticking of the clock which only adds to the pressure. Taking turns playing it with friends and trying to talk them into shooting the wrong target so they don’t beat your score is almost the best part.

Action Ball 2
I originally purchased this from Alawar over a decade ago after loving the original Action Ball and was not disappointed with the challenging game play when I purchased it. It was quite a surprise to see it appear in the Steam store considering its age, however, I immediately bought it because it is one of my all time favourite 3D breakouts and also I wanted to convey my thanks and support to the developer for including it on Steam; as well as suggest a few additions that may improve the re-playability, or even see a new version created by the developer, that may incorporate some of the suggestions I’ve made at the end of this review and in the comments section.

This game is amazing.
From the gameplay to the lore, this game is for casual and hardcore gamers alike. The lore is extremely rich and deep and it will keep you invested. I recommend this to anyone.

Blind Drive
What an interesting game. Blind drive puts you in the shoes of Donny… A guy who is blind folded and cuffed to the steering wheel of a vehicle and sent on his way down a highway against traffic. I will say nothing more on the story as I don’t want to spoil. Anyway, the gameplay is simple enough… You hear a vehicle on one side of the road, steer to the other! That’s not all though. The story takes some wild turns and puts you through many different and sometimes unexpected situations to test you. In all, the sound design is great and story is funny. For it’s price, I’d certainly have to recommend this insane and wacky journey. Sit back, relax, and happy steering!

It’s not everyday one discovers a new genre - and what a pleasant surprise it is!
Playing eyes closed, flat on my back with surround sound headphones and a wireless keyboard, Blind Drive is a wild narrative-driven adventure.
The sound effects and spatial design create an immersive atmosphere, complemented with excellent voice acting and often hilarious one-liners (“Give me a break; I’m driving blind! Can’t you see?"), while the graphics make a complete mockery of my 32:9 monitor.
For gamers who think they’ve seen it all, Blind Drive is like playing VR with your eyes closed.

Rambo The Video Game + Baker Team DLC
If you love Rambo and incredible ’80s action, then Rambo: The Video Game is exactly the game you’re looking for.
As soon as Rambo: The Video Game was announced, I was ecstatic. The trailer made the game seem like nothing but balls-to-the-walls action, recreating all the kick-ass Rambo shit that Rambo did in the Rambo movies. It was seemingly going to be everything I had ever wanted a Rambo game to be, going all the way back to 1988 when I spied the cover of the Rambo NES game and imagined what treasures the game might hold. That game did not live up to my internal hype, but Teyon’s Rambo: The Video Game didn’t just live up to my huge, unrealistic expectations, it shot an explosive arrow directly into their heart and machine-gunned them as they begged for mercy.

I am a huge fan of Rambo. I have read “First Blood,” and own all four movies. When this game was first released it flew under my radar until I saw it on a worst-of-2014 list of video games. Apparently it belonged to many worst-of-year lists. I had a PS3 (still do) and didn’t want to take up hard drive space downloading the Steam game, so I got the PS3 version instead for cheap just to see if it was that bad. I was pleasantly surprised that it followed very closely the storyline and atmosphere of the first three movies. I personally enjoy on-rails shooters and I quickly became addicted to this game! Amazingly despite the negative reviews the developers included a DLC, Baker Company, with the game two years after its release. Unfortunately they apparently sent it to the Playstation Store for upload but for one reason or another it never got posted online. I checked it earlier today: there is a version 1.01 patch but no Baker Company DLC available, and you apparently can’t even buy Rambo there anymore. :-(

Crazy Archery
so easy .. i want more levels and dificulty

Crazy Archery is actually one of the funnest games I’ve played so far in 2019 and that’s no joke. There’s just something extremely satisfying about accidentally pegging someone in the neck with an arrow while you’re under a time limit and trying to solve a puzzle. Or pulling back the bow for one more attempt only to find out you’re out of arrows and have to start all over (but you just figured the puzzle out).
Also, the game is really cheap for what you get in return. Frankly, I haven’t enjoyed a puzzle game this much in a very long time and I hope more people find this wonderful little game.

Cellar
“Cellar” is as cute as it is short. One can finish it in around 20 minutes if they run straight to the exit in each of the 8 levels of the game.
However, the presence of achievements increases the replay value a lot - they require gathering a few toy collectibles or finding alternate solutions for solving some of the levels. You will probably need to do a separate playthrough to beat the game without dying.
In addition to these features, completing the game for the first time unlocks challenge modes for every level - timed runs.

PROS:
-
nice artstyle
-
good atmosphere
-
many collectables
-
some challenging achievements
-
unique gameplay
CONS:
-
later on annoying labyrinths
-
some bugs (monster glitches outside the map)
-
you can get stucked (if you try the “Diggy Diggy Hole” achievement)
-
unsatisfying ending
-
controls a bit unresponsive
-
sometimes bad hitboxes
RESULT:
Again a mixed feeling about this game, but I would still recommend it, because it’s only 1$ and about 2 hours long for 100% achievements. For the gameplay it’s simple to tell, you walk through labyrinths and try to collect all the toys. If you collect the key, the monster will appear and chasing you. If it catches you, you die instantly. Some of the achievemnts can make you get stucked, like the “diggy diggy hole” one. There are also a few bugs, where the monster glitches outside the map. The hitboxes sometimes detect death situations, where there wasn’t one. Mabye it’s because of the huge blocks the game uses. I guess it also affects the controls a bit, because sometimes the game reacts too late on your input. What I really liked was the artstyle and the atmosphere. I also like that some achievements really challenge you and are not that simple to get. :) (\ô/)
