Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker
I spent many hours playing first Cue Club and I was sure it’s the best pool&snooker simulator we can find. But later I found this one on Steam.
What else can I say? Graphics is very nice. Music is cool too. I think that the physics is one of the strongest points of the game. We can feel like we were potting balls on the real table, with full control of the cue ball. We have a possibility to adjust the gameplay, in almost every aspect. Snooker on the blue table? Why not. Balls are too fast? You can try changing table speed. Every match can be different, if we want. And maybe the most important point - the game is dynamically changing. We have regular updates, which means we have more and more content, some bugs or errors quickly disappears. Bulldog Interactive makes really great work.

I have probably spent a few hundred hours playing its predecessor Cue Club, but that was almost 15 years ago and that too on a CRT monitor.
I only got like 12 hours here so far but so far it has been quite nice.
A brief comparison vis-a-vis its predecessor is present below for reference.
Better in Cue Club 2 - Game dynamics, game types, improved graphics, multiplayer, music
Better in Cue Club (older) - Cue and ball varieties, Bar system, smoke on the table
I think I will give the older one a go if I can find my iso collection. Hopefully it will run in compatibility mode.

Secrets of Magic 2: Witches and Wizards
“Secrets of Magic 2: Witches and Wizards” is a fun little Match 3 casual game. It took me 14.6 hours to complete it with all Achievements. Since the list price is just about $10 (and I bought it for about $5), it’s definitely worth the money (I’m recommending it). I only have a couple of minor nits with it. First, even though the tutorial explains just about everything, it didn’t mention the flask and explosive “tiles” (easily figured out). And, second, even though I got the full 3 stars on level 99 (there are 100 total levels), it only recorded that as 1 star. So, after finishing the game, I didn’t get the “All Stars” Achievement. Looking at the in-game Achievement area showed I was short 3 stars (297/300 – which is odd, since with the recorded 1 star on that level, I should have had 298/300). I re-did the level (getting all 3 stars) and this time, it recorded as such (and I got the Achievement). Other than that, no issues at all. A nice, enjoyable game.

Artifact Quest 2 - Match 3 Puzzle
I liked the match tiles quality but not the silly story

Played this game over about 2 weeks every night while falling asleep, or as a brain teaser occasionally throughout the day. Love the small challenge in it and the fact that there is a relaxed mode with no time limit, so that you can wind down with the game. Easy achievements as well! It’s a little gem of a game for calming yourself down or adding to a nighttime routine, at least in the short term.

Chip’s Challenge 2
I started playing the Windows version of Chip’s Challenge way back when I was five years old. It took a good three years to beat the game, but they were three very enjoyable years. Shortly afterward, around 1997 to 1998, I discovered a small online community dedicated to the game, which was buzzing about a potential sequel. Sadly, by the time its development was finished in 1999, the sequel never saw the light of day due to publishing problems. So that should give you an idea of just how much time fans have been waiting to see this game. In the meantime, the CC community grew and started developing its own official fan-made sequels to the original game in lieu of CC2, and CC developer Chuck Sommerville released a successor to his original called Chuck’s Challenge.

It’s Chip’s Challenge 2, and I enjoyed it enough to play through the entirety all at once.
Took over 13 hours. Totally worth it.
Anyway, everything from the original returns here, as well as a huge pile of new elements that, though overwhelming at first, are definitely introduced at a reasonable pace. Some levels have time limits a bit on the short side for their puzzle (often these are bowling ball on rail puzzles) and there are quite a few more short time limit levels in the game: though these are more straightforward, where the time limit merely adds to the challenge rather than frustrates by running out of time right as you’re approaching the finish.

Lovely Planet 2: April Skies
Pretty good follow up to Lovely Planet 1. There were a few problems at launch but the dev has got those issues fixed now.
It is easier but its still just as fun. My only complaint is that there isn’t as much baddie variety. Homing baddies, random bullets, and blue baddies have been replaced with a love angel that quickly homes onto you and tries to smooch you. While the new baddie is a great replacement for random bullets, it still feels a bit lacking without homing baddies. I think they may have been removed because is harder to parry because hit boxes are very tight, even without considering how massive they were in Lovely Planet 1.

**TL;DR Very good Speedrun FPS game. Easier/smoother skill curve. Faster paced than the original but overall has easier level design. Music and sound effects are great.
Competing on the leaderboards require running diagonally for a speed boost which can be awkward but adds another layer of skill.
Length depends on how much you want to replay levels for better times. Without that, expect anywhere from 2-8 hours.
Highly recommended.**
Video coming soon hopefully. Not to bring attention to myself. Playing LP2 made me want to make a few videos. That hasn’t happened in years, so I’m running with it.

VR Soccer ‘96
ENG:
First thinks first: Even if this title have “VR” -word, however this is not (3D) VR headset a videogame. This VR means just Virtual Reality.
One of the most legendary football game has come back for sale. A game that has been selected as one of the world’s top ten best football video games in the world, at all times!
Also this a game was first 3D soccer a game ever, what was released.
This Actua Soccer (VR Soccer'96) video game was my first 3d soccer game for my childhood.
If you are looking for a top of the good and classic 3d soccer game so, here is perhaps the best 3d classic soccer game you can buy from Steam Store that works also windows 10 computers.

Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade
Great port with one glaring omission: the lack of 4:3 resolution support. Running the game in full screen on my 4:3 monitor results in letterboxed 16:9, which causes two significant issues:
-
Darius Gaiden cannot be played in true fullscreen at its native aspect ratio. You can either play in stretched letterboxed 16:9, or in letterboxed-and-pillarboxed 4:3. No matter what, it won’t fill the screen.
-
Multi-monitor mode for the games that support it cannot be correctly lined up and scaled, because the “seams” of the screens don’t correspond with the monitor resolutions. Stretching the game past the internal boundaries of the game resolution just results in the image being cropped, even though there is screen space there; said screen space is just black. I presume this is also an issue on multi-monitor 16:9 displays.

EDIT: It’s been almost a week and nothing regarding possible issues is coming, kinda scared they aren’t saying anything about it, not recommending until they at least give words for the issues on the port (That is, if M2 stops reposting Senjin Aleste Fanart in their goddamn Twitter…)
The price is quite excessive if they don’t fix these issues (It’s 2021, these issues shouldn’t be there in the first place, no, “M2 is not experienced with PC, that’s why BASIC stuff happened” is not an excuse).
Not a perfect port, but it’s been less than 2 days since it was released.

Roundabout 3
Very disappointed at this time. Currently there is NO infinity mode for ANY of the levels in the game. In R2 I could get lost in any level for half an hour or more, but now I feel sluggish. I know I only mastered (and near mastered) a few levels in this iteration, but soon I’ll have to put down the game because trying to high-score in this time trial mode is not my style. All I need is a button in practice mode to let me have it my way, but you decided to not implement it. Am I supposed to go back an iteration to NGs to have it my way?
